My 10 year old son joined a little over a month ago, and I could not be happier. He LOVES going to Victory, and I love watching him. All of the instructors are awesome, its a great workout, constant movement; running, jumping, kicking, punching, yelling (which he loves!). More than that, there is always a good message, and they really connect with the kids. Hats off to anyone who can get through to a group of kids like that at the end of a busy day. We left another karate place to come here, even though this one costs more, I know it is worth every penny!!

This is a fantastic extra curricular activity for my 6 year old. They do make you sign a contract, so read it before you commit. They offer a 30 day trial to try it out. I recommend do that first, and start with the master program (cheaper) first and move to the leadership program after your child is more committed. It requires more time and commitment, and if this is just for fun, you wont get the most out of that program. They spend a lot of time with the kids, they learn a lot and they have lots of extras like parents night out, and guests. Sometimes an additional fee, sometimes not.

Horrible management at the front desk. We wanted to bring my son in for a free lesson to see if we wanted to enroll him. The lady that works the front desk sent my wife the wrong times last weekend so when we came in we werent able to get his free lesson. My wife took him in again today at the time she was told. The front desk lady said his time would be a half hour later than original because of testing, so my wife and son sat there for a half an hour to wait for his free lesson. Then the lady said the next time period was testing too and that he couldnt get a full lesson in, but could do a little. Absolutely terrible that the front desk lady has no clue about times, whats going on and costumer service. If my son liked that place, we were ready to sign him up...but because they couldnt even give us proper times and information and they wasted our time and gas twice, he will not be enrolled there and we will make sure we tell anyone that asks us to go somewhere else!!!

Great school and great instructors! Mr Meza and Ms Collins work well with all of the students and bring a lot of positive energy to the table. Brought my 5 yo son here not only for the martial arts but to gain discipline and break out of his shy shell. Now he is excited for each class and we have to control his energy!!!

This is a great location and a great program. Equipment is expensive in any sport. The self confidence that it has built in our son is just amazing. We are so blessed to have such great instructors!

Great location. Best in San Antonio. The negative reviews are skewed and due to those persons’ own mistakes. Yes, it costs for gear, but they’re upfront about the fact that it’s needed. Belt testing is no longer extra. And don’t pay in advance if you think you might move. Duh!

My daughter (5 yrs old) loves going to training here. She feels encouraged and strong! The school is very professional and helped us feel at home.

They are very fast and eager to sell you when you come in. Big Mistake. I paid in advance for a year, because it sounded like a great deal ( I found out later it wasnt and I still needed to pay a lot for different things). Later, I wasnt thrilled about how they recognized the kids, it seemed that the more money you spend on the extra things they have more recognition the kids get or none (all business $$). Then I had to move more than 30 miles away, and according to their cancelation policy you are able to cancel if you move further than 10 miles. I followed their process and provided proof of residence, this happened a month ago and after several emails, phone calls and even driving to their site to follow up, I received and email saying that it will take an additional month for them to process it and from there the approval so no idea when I will see the refund. I totally warn you DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE!!! not worth the headaches and it might not be what they promise it to be. Very disappointing experience.

Scam, NARCISSISTS, the worst qualities in humans is on display with this corporation. They get quality instructors who leave shortly after being employed. If they stay they are naive, an aspiring narcissist, like their Cheap Master Von Smelly leader, or have had their self worth destroyed by their self proclamed narcissist leader. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Be aware of the rats.

My advice to all parents is to look at all the details before you sign the contract with them. They dont tell you about the equipment you will eventually need to purchase (which are ridiculously expensive), you need to pay an extra fee for testing and new belts, ask about the cancelation policy because if something happens and you cannot attend they wont care they will charge you no matter what, not even give you a call like hey you havent been attending for a month or so what is going on? They just charge you the fee they dont care about anything else. I will never make that mistake again.

We go as a family and love it. The. Leadership is a great resource for the kids. There some costs you dont expect but not required. You get out what you put into it.

RUN AWAY! I BOUGHT A GROUPON FOR MY SON TO TRY IT OUT. I SHOULD HAVE NOTICED THE CAMO BELT, WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REAL MARTIAL ARTS. MR. PRICE IS A HORRIBLE PERSON WHO DOES NOT LISTEN TO YOUR NEEDS, ALL HE WANTS IS MONEY. 2 DAYS INTO USING MY GROUPON FOR MY SON HE TELLS ME I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT TO GET A BIRTHDAY PARTY AND MY SON BIRTHDAY CAME AND GONE. WE ONLY WENT 4 TIMES AND I CAME BY TO CANCEL, NO COINCIDENCE HE WASNT THERE. I THEN CALL TO CANCEL, HE TELLS ME TO COME BY ANOTHER DAY. THEN I CALL HEAD QUARTERS TO CANCEL AND THEY DID NOTHING. I HAVE BEEN CHARGED OVER 4 TIMES AND INCURRED 4 OVER DRAFT CHARGES BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT HONOR MY REQUEST. THIS IS WASTE, YOUR CHILD WILL BE BULLIED WITH THIS CRAP TRAINING. GO TO GRACIE AND REAL TRAINING. A CAMO WONT GET YOU FAR. WASTE OF SPACE. I TRIED TO CANCEL NICELY AND TELL HIM NOTHING ABOUT HIS PROGRAM, BUT MR. PRICE LIKE TO TRY TO INTIMIDATE YOU. HES GOOD AT PRESSURE SALES, THATS ABOUT IT. WASTE OF TIME, PLEASE DONT BE FOOLED BY FAKE REVIEWS.
