My son has been coming g here 3 weeks now and I see a big difference in him. He has become confident and independent. The instructor is amazing and takes his time to make sure all students understand before moving forward.

I love my experience here I have learned a lot about self defense which results in me being prepared for the real world. Lots of exercise (good for weight loss) Mother:my child is more disciplined she even helps with the dishes I have lost lots of weight from this and I can defend myself in many different ways. Brother: I love the class my teacher is very nice.

I was Fortunate to have a one on one conversation with Steve. I was on a Service call for a Plumbing issue. We got to talking about the negative affects on my children staying home 24/7. With only AI to access and use to get through the day. Being 1 of 3 children that where always in a part of a Team Sport. I was coached to get out of my comfort zone in order to do what it takes to succeed. Worried about what the future is going to hold for us as well as my children. My wife and I are making the decision to push them to be the best they can be in this very unpredictable World. Come January the will both be starting Self Defense Martial Arts. Ashcrafts is awesome! My 10 year old son has been coming here for 4 months and he loves it. I notice a positive difference in his attitude and confidence. But Mr. Ashcraft not only teaches the kids taekwondo, he teaches them life lessons--which Ive even taken some away for myself. My son says Thank you!

My kids and I joined for only a year when I was 42 years old and because of that,I was in the best shape of my life!That was 10 years ago.I have a physical condition that may not allow me to return,otherwise I would.My kids and I LOVED this place.Everyone was super nice,and we learned a lot in the one year that we were there.Mr.Ashcraft was always very professional AND very personable at the same time.

I have gone to Master Ashcraft several years now and he teaches discipline and the Art of Martial Arts. Love this Gym and would recommend anyone to try it out.

Poppa Reil, what do you want? A family owned business or a corporate run company?? 1st, you complain that he has an assistant running the class. How many businesses do you know where the owner does everything! Plus his assistant is more than qualified. 2nd complaint is that he flirts with the mothers during class. He knows EVERYBODY who walks through the doors. He has a personal relationship with MOST of us! 3rd, you wanna talk about fine print and hidden costs? I dont understand what you are referring to because I didnt get any but theres another martial arts center not too far from here that wont let you leave until you sign one of their options. All about sales! Is that the kind of place you were looking for? You write nothing but negative reviews, Im way more concerned about your kids being around you than your nitpicking concerens about Ashcraft. My son has done nothing but build his confidence and self esteem since hes been there. This has transferred into so many areas other than in the gym. And its only been 1/2 year! Regardless of how you perceive things, Ashcraft wants nothing but the best for whoever walks through his doors. People drive 20-30 miles, 2-3 times a week to bring their kids here. Theres a reason. He cares!

First of all we wanted to let it be known that what this person Poppa Reil has posted is very untrue and nothing but lies. We started 5months ago enrolling are two sons who we have seen grow more confidence in themselves and truly love this martial art taught by one of the best. We enjoyed it so much that me and my wife decided to partake as a family as well. It is truly a great atmosphere for people of all ages. Mr. Ashcraft loves his craft and loves teaching us the correct way of doing things and takes his time in perfecting are technique. He is there for all classes and he is open six days a week. Now as for the kid you mention who helps him every now and then is more than qualified to run his own class if he would ever choose to. He is a second degree black belt about to recieve his third degree in a couple of months. Now as for these hidden fees you mention we have never seen and we pay exactly what he said it would be. As a family of four we get a great deal. Like people have mentioned we ourselves drive 30 to 40 minutes three times out of the week, so what does that tell you. As for the flirting with moms that you also mentioned is also not true my wife would not being going to something like this if this was happening. This place has been here for over 45 years and Mr. Ashcraft is s two time martial arts hall of famer and 7th degree black belt along with many other accomplishments. I can go on and on about this but we are a martial arts family and we just wanted to set the record straight.

Poppa Reil I have to agree with Gabriel, you speak nothing but false accusations regarding Mr Ahscraft. I have recently moved here from Waxahachie and my sons previous Gojo referred us to Mr. Ashcraft, my son has continued to master his martial arts skills and loves coming here. I drive my son 30-45 mins 3x a week for him to attend class and I have never been so disgusted with anyone complaining about someone than I am with you. This man has a personal relationship with every parent that brings their child here so excuse him for having conversations with parents. He is an OWNER tell me one place you have gone where the owner teaches a class or even partakes in commitment to being present for a class. This assistant you speak of is a 2nd degree black belt and he is more than qualified to teach the class, actually he spends time correcting and strengthening each childs form. As far as hidden fees are concerned...what the hell are you speaking about, I have never had any misleading information or fees assessed it has been exactly what I was told and what I signed up for. The only disgrace I see regarding this facility is Mr. Ashcraft accepting you and your child into our Gojo and wanting the best for your child. I have read your other reviews and it is all about money and dissatisfaction with everywhere you go, I feel sorry for your children to be raised as such a negative condescending individual like yourself. I am glad you are no longer involved in this facility, we do not need people like this to cripple our childrens dreams and strengths.....WE DONT NEED YOU IN OUR TAE KWON DO FAMILY!!!!! We love Mr. Ashcraft and this man will always be someone who loves to build a childs confidence and give them the skills they need to defend themselves in life. My grandson has been a student of Tae Kwan Do at Ashcrafts for about 4 years now. Steve, as tae kwan do instructor, coach and mentor, commands respect, gives praise where praise is due and hands out discipline, when needed, to encourage his students to become more confident, skilled and respectful. Steve is a Master of martial arts and a true teacher who is passionate about his craft and his students. His classes always contain what I call a life lesson. Sometimes it is done with humor and sometimes it is done with a focus on serious subjects, such as teaching kids how to deal with bullying or their behavior in school, towards their peers and in their world. He instills a sensible respect for parents, teachers and others. AND on top of all of that, the kids get wonderful physical activity, learn techniques for self safety and routines for belt exams. Tae Kwan Do is a real confidence booster and working towards that next belt always gives them a new goal.I highly recommend Ashcrafts Martial Arts.
