I went to the into class and it was amazing highly recommend trying it out the teachers are so awesome and very Positive and uplifting encouraging environment the class was more than what I expected they pre explained the work outs and Positions andForms and what to expect and was a lot of fun I cant wait for the one week trial class that was 49. And included my uniform what a deal left feeling encouraged and ready for the next class not Not intimidating at all !! My favorite part was everyone moved at their own pace with was very welcoming to the idea that i was going to look like a newbie in the class thank goodness all in all i felt a total body work out and was great and Definitely broke a sweat which i loved !

This review is strictly for the billing department and the company they use to handle the Billings.I did the 16 week transformation program but about halfway through, covid hit as it turned everything into a mess and the gym had to close under state rules.I call the billing people to see what can be done as far as a cancellation as I don’t feel it would be worth it to pay for something I wouldn’t have been able to use. They state “it’ll be a 200$ cancellation fee”. Of course! No problem at all. I pay the 200$ cancellation fee and was told I’m all good to go with the rep over the phone. NOPE. The next month I’m still getting charges on my card from the Billing company. I give them a call and no one EVER answers. I then call my credit card company and tell them everything. I get a refund on my card for a dispute and get an email saying everything is good to go again. A month went by and I had no charges, no emails, no calls etc... Well surprise surprise, I got a letter in the mail from the billing company saying I “owe” them 130$ that’s past due, and if I don’t pay it, it’ll be sent over to collections. Seriously? I try giving them a call to get this handled and see what’s up? and again...NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. The gym, people, coaches, environment is ALL outstanding, but the billing department/company they use is the absolute worst! I’ve NEVER been given this much trouble from a billing company EVER.My advice....find a new merchant service for yalls billing, because after 2 months of paying the cancellation fee and going through the entire process...I’m still fighting with them on why they keep charging my card, and threatening to send my “past due” balance to collections when I don’t even owe anything. I still have screen shots of ALL my fees and monthly billing being paid for this gym.....seriously frustrating.UPDATE: 9-2-20Just got a call back from the billing company, looks like the first cancellation note I sent was never received? So I had to sent a new one. Well surprise again. Even tho I sent in the first letter when I first paid the cancellation fee, they’re STILL charging me for the extra time up until the 2nd letter was received because apparently the first letter was never received? So now I’m forced to pay an extra 120$ or else they say it’s going to go to collections. Probably one of the WORST cancellation policies I’ve ever been through. Seriously unbelievable. What a scam.

The 16 week program is a scam. I responded to an ad on FB for a 16 wk total body transformation at PKIMMA in San Antonio. No catches or gimmicks. The ad also stated that it was a program for the ladies only. Seeking 45 ladies it said. It also stated that I would need to be accountable to my coach. And that I would I have all the support I need.A couple things to address from my experience.1) When I went to learn more about the program and sign up, I was given an extremely brief explanation of the program, a contract and a schedule for HIIT classes. From my understanding these classes are essentially the program. I asked if the HIIT classes where set up for the 16 wk program and if I would be seeing the same 45 ladies and getting to know them. I was told yes. During that presentation I was also pitched a discounted years membership to the gym. I only budgeted for the 16 week program so I declined. I watched as the gym rep filled in my contract as an example in front of everyone, and then asked me back to the office first to sign it. Its worth noting that he never gave the contract back to me until it was time to sign it. He took my credit card details and asked if I wanted to take the years membership deal. I said no, just the 16 week program. Little did I understand, the contract is set for a whole year regardless. There is a clause that says you must cancel at the end of 16wks via written, certified mail that also includes your entire attendance. It also says that if you do not attend 3 HIIT classes per week for the 16 weeks, you may not cancel and are required to pay for the entire year(at full, regular pricing). I learned this when I noticed about a week later that my contract said my membership expired a year from my sign up date. I went in person to talk to the owner and get clarification. He was very defensive about the contract and knew exactly where to point out where it stated all these details. I beat myself up for not reading the whole contract, but also felt taken advantage of by what I see as slimy business practices.2) When I arrived for my first HIIT class I noticed men there- surprising. I also noticed it was extremely over crowded. When I addressed this with the owner, I was told the HIIT classes where for all members of the gym. So this was not just a group of 45 ladies working together on a goal as was advertised. We were just thrown into classes with the rest of the members and it was extremely over crowded for weeks until they opened new time slots.3) Im not sure what coach they were referring to in the ad that I would need to be accountable to, but no one ever checked in with me, I was accountable to no one but myself. I was weighed in once at the beginning of the program.Overall a very deceiving and disappointing experience for me. I did not find the program as advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone because in my opinion, the way they conduct business is unethical.

I’ve been a HIIT student for over a year, after my neighbor convinced me to try a class. Eight months later my husband joined after he saw how much I loved it and results. Now our 5 year old is in the karate program and it’s her new favorite thing. There’s not a better place to exercise in SA, and I can’t imagine a better karate instructor for children.

I signed up for the 16 week challenge and half way through I started working a second job and i started missing classes, I wasn’t able to fit the price into my budget and, while I enjoyed the classes and environment, I can no longer be a member but, it’s impossible to cancel. I have to pay $200.00 if I want to cancel my membership and it’s honestly not worth it if you’re looking for affordable work outs and training. I’m stuck with a membership I can’t afford or have the time to attend and the only thing they said was to take it up with billing. No real solutions.

My boys, 5 and 3 yrs old, had the privilege to be enrolled in Mr. Jacksons Little Dragons class for about 1 year before our family had to move. Mr. Jackson has a True Gift, the kind that radiates outward and augments the best in those around him. That Gift is teaching, using sneaky fun to impart skills to the kids. Sneaky because the kids have no idea that they are working hard learning foundational gross and fine motor skills, complex katas, rules-of-engagement, respect for peers and authority, etc....because theyre having a blast. Then, at test time, they display a simply beautiful proficiency. Best place for my boys. Full-stop. Period.

Went in to sign up for the 16 week challenge they offer. After realizing I wasn’t going to be able to afford it, I politely told them about my situation, they got mad and became very rude, as if I was there just to purposely waste their time. I didn’t realize it was a crime to check a place out before becoming fully committed and putting my money into it.

This place is a HUGE scam. Unfortunately I agreed to the 16 week challenge paid $118 up front and chose to start a week from the date of the signed contract. BEFORE I even enrolled for a work out class online, I had a medical emergency and was unable to fulfill the weekly requirements to do the challenge. I called and spoke with sensei Jackson and he assured me there would be no problem with cancellation as I hadn’t started the challenge. Turns out he lied. I had to mail a certified letter (more $$$) to cancel. Cool. Did it. Didn’t hear anything, then I get a notice in the mail that I owe over $300.00. I contact them again and he assures me it will be taken care of. Sensei Jackson tells me again that The balance will be cleared but I need to make a $2.99 payment to verify my card so they can “freeze” my account. Cool. Did it. I get another bill for over $600. I now have collection agencies contacting me for payment. I am working into taking legal action as I have 2-3 EMAILS from Sansei Jackson at PKIMMA BABCOCK verifying my account will be cleared and the balance is not owed. However a balance was processed anyways. Don’t trust these people! Even if it’s in writing they still deny providing that information.

I am a current student here and I absolutely love It! I have never been to a gym or did an at home workout that has me sweating and dropping inches and pounds like, the instructors and Sensei Jackson do at PKI MMA - Ju Ki Do. There is nothing but positivity and smiling faces when you walk into the door. I love it and I do not regret joining. #MyJourney
