This place is great! I am learning a skill that will help me defend myself should I ever need too. Which is an important skill to have. Everyone is so welcoming, so dont be intimidated, no matter where your skill level is, David will work with you and teach you everything you need to know. It also is a great workout. So all in all its a win!

I have never had any martial arts training and I appreciate the instructor’s experience with other martial arts to incorporate into our training. He seeks our feedback about how classes are going. He also has a systematic approach to training and gradually builds additional skills as the class progresses and will change up his teaching technique if the class is having difficulty picking up a skill. Classes are challenging and have built my fitness level, but he offers different levels of exercise for people at different fitness levels. Additionally, I have found the other students to be friendly.

This is the place to go if you want to learn self defense while simultaneously getting a great workout. The conditioning and lessons are challenging, but rewarding. David is a fantastic instructor who breaks things down with practical and real world applications. If you are on the fence, give it a try - you will not be disappointed!!

I was looking for something to help me get in shape and start loving myself again. Im only 3 weeks in and I am starting to see results already in my recovery and endurance. I am excited each day I go to class and cant wait to see my transformation in a years time, and then 2! I had no training in any martial arts or other fighting disciplines, but I wanted to be able to protect myself if necessary because of some of the volunteer work I do. David is a very patient teacher and is helping me to learn how to protect myself and gain confidence in making sure I can keep myself safe. The class sizes are small enough that he can give individual attention when needed.

I’ve done a little Krav before and made a commitment that I would learn it more for 2021. I was referred by someone whose opinion I trust. He’s already earned his black belt in Krav and he also trains here. I’ve not been disappointed! David is incredibly talented. I feel like I will learn all I want from him. I’m not looking to compete but develop the skills needed “just in case”. Also the conditioning reminds you just how in/out of shape you are. This school is awesome!!! I was referred to this class by a friend but I hesitated because I was afraid my age and poor fitness level would cause me to just embarrass myself. With one visit to the class I realized It was filled with all ages, fitness levels and skill. David is a top notch, world class trainer... David has this amazing ability, while moving amongst the class to give struggling students one on one assistants while still motivating and instructing the rest of the class. In my lifetime I have been through many types of training at various levels through sports, school, military and professional. I can say David and his school is a cut above the rest. One of the most professional, enjoyable and rewarding training experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested.

I joined Katalyst Krav Maga for two basic reasons. One, to be able to defend myself and my loved ones. Two, to get into shape. As a beginner I think this class is amazing. The instructor David takes the time to make sure that a strong foundation is established to build upon. In the few weeks that I have been going to classes I have seen a marked improvement in my speed and power. Not to mention a few inches off my waist. Another thing I really love about this class is how all of the students are supportive and encourage me to push myself.

I am a beginner... and not the easiest student to teach. Dave has slowed things down so I can understand them and pushes me to do my best every day! The students are amazing too... those that have more experience than I do are quick to jump in and help me. Its a very welcoming place to learn!

This is by far the best training experience I have ever had and Im no spring chicken. In a short 3 weeks time, my body is already responding to the training. I can literally see it and classmates have said the same thing. The instructor David is awesome. He cares about all his students and has taken the time to work with me on some modifications for my knees. Krav Maga will change your body, increase your stamina, teach you to defend yourself and sharpen your awareness and focus. You compete against yourself and David helps you to teach the next level. Best of all, everyone knows each other and we support one another.

As a new trainee to Krav Maga, David took the time to listen and understand my goals. He is a consummate professional, excellent instructor and communicator. He takes the time to explain new techniques properly and how it ties into Krav Maga. The workouts are unique and intense; however, you go at your own pace. He explains his plan and objectives; therefore, you have a roadmap three months out. Thus, no surprises. After only six sessions, physiologically my body has changed and I feel stronger in such as short period of time. This is refreshing and I look forward to my journey.

AMAZING teaching and instruction from David. I love the mindset and atmosphere David creates with his dojo. He pushes you and encourages you. Hes here for serious training, but he makes it fun, inventive, and knows how to not take yourself too seriously either. Hes got an eye for technique, enjoys questions, and hell give you pointers on the exact way to do things if you ask him. Ive known and worked with the head instructor for close to 5 years. He helped me train for the police academy and got me ready for the defensive tactics classes.David knows his material and is one of the best instructors that Ive ever had. Katalyst is a very professional and clean studio that is very well run. The trainer, David, is a welcoming and open person who knows his stuff and really pushes you. They have lots of different equipment to train with and the krav maga program is very fairly priced.
