I called to get enrollment information for my 2 year old and already the attitude I was given for asking a simple question was ridiculous.. she smacked her teeth and told me to call back because the person I needed to speak to is not at her desk and she hung up. Im not even going to bother calling them back, I dont want anyone like that looking after my son. they should hire a new phone person.

Children’s nest day careIf you’re a special needs parents please save your time and money. Stay away. This place is nothing at all like it looks. I was met by the director Jennifer Ross for a tour on Friday 09/11/2020 with my son and his father. We were shown the VPK Room and told by Jennifer Ross that my son would be a good fit and that she would give him a chance to get used to VPK. I informed Jennifer Ross that my son is currently attending speech therapy and she said they would work with him in the classroom. My son has never been enrolled in daycare of any kind so of course it is going to take time to adjust. Today 09/14/2020 my son started VPK at 7:30 am. His teacher had no idea she had a new student starting today, it really seemed like having my son in their school was an inconvenience to them from the moment he walked in. I called to check on him at 9:30 am and I was told by Jennifer Ross that she would not be able to accommodate my son due to him not wanting to sit in a circle with his classmates, and not being able to follow directions AFTER 2 HOURS. He’s 4, they didn’t even give him a full day. Unprofessional, rude and nasty if I could give 0 stars I would.

My son has spent the last year there and I couldnt be happier with the VPK program. I will be signing him up for after-school there when he starts Kindergarten at Mitchell, next month. Ms. Aimee and Sue did a fantastic job and I am so impressed by the growth and development Ive seen in him since his first day. Ms. Chanel has left which is sad, we all love her to death, but since Ms. Jennifer and company have taken over the front office things have only gotten better. Happy dad over here.9/20 edit: I cannot emphasis the importance of the childhood development training this staff has. My son is now in first grade, and weve experimented with other programs, but always come back to Ms. Jennifer and her expert staff. I am so grateful to have them and how much they love my kid.

The school it self is just all around AMAZING, but the best part is the Director Ms. QiiAni Williams she goes over and beyond for her students, my son has been there since last year August and it was the best decision Ive ever made. The professionalism and the way the educate the student got my son well prepared for kindergarten, to the point that I recently put him in an elementary school near by so he can attend after school care. Highly Recommended School

My daughter has attended this school since April and absolutely loves it! The school is under new management that focuses on independence, education, healthy lifestyle choices and social stimulation. As a two year old my daughter is learning Spanish, life skills and has an extensive vocabulary. I couldnt ask for anything better!

Glad to see they changed their director as the previous director, Jessica Grasso, and staff lacked the most important quality to parents:supervision and safety. I expressed an issue with supervision, or lack there of, and was assured it would be corrected. Came in the very next morning to drop my daughter off only to find that the same staff member had her back completely turned talking to another teacher on the playground opposite of the kids she was supposed to be watching. The director refused to come up with her own or implement one of the two viable solutions that I had offered. Safety of my child and trust in the facility keeping her for 8 hours a day is vital. This daycare did not offer any of that whatsoever. Hopefully it gets better with new management.

My grandaughter and nephew attended this preschool my nephew was here first and absolutely loved his experience here. My grandaughter is in the VPK class and she loves her class and the school is always clean and well managed at all times. And a great asset to parents is that they offer hot meals to my grandchild as well as a couple of snacks a day this is huge for a day school as far as services to offer to families/children. We love Childrens Nest and all of the teachers there as well!

The only reason this school gets one star is because my daughter loved the playground. The director, Jessica Grasso, is unbelievably unprofessional, rude, and condescending. I hated every time I stepped foot in that school. The teachers ignored me every morning, so I cant imagine they were very involved with the children. My childs teacher, Rocio, always talked to me like I was an idiot. Nothing in the school was organized, and no one ever seemed prepared. The owners need some serious restructuring at this school!

Unfortunately, this school came recommended by a parent from my daughters current preschool. The first time I went to tour the school, I waited 15 minutes at the front desk, because no one was there to greet me. I ended up calling the school while I was standing there, just for them to tell me the director was out, and I would have to come back any time for a tour. No big deal, right?! I return for the second time a week later, and the same thing, no one to greet me when I walked in. This time one of the teachers spotted me there after about 5 minutes. I asked her if she can show me around, she replied rudely, stating that only the director gives tours, but she was at the grocery store, and asked If I wanted to wait 15 minutes for her. I agreed to wait. The director finally comes back to work, and again, I was greeted quite rudely and unprofessional. I told her the situation, how I really just want to see the VPK classroom, how this is my second time coming back, and how I was told I could come do the tour at ANY TIME by her employee. She, in her very unfriendly, cold manner, told me that she only does tours between 9-11am, and that I would have to come back...a THIRD time! I said, can you please just show me the VPK classroom, thats really all I care about. She again, very cold like and robotic, told me, No, tours are only from 9-11am!, and that its inconvenient to do tours out of that time frame. I told her, Well, its a big inconvenience for me to have to drive all the way back here a third time. She didnt care what I had to say, and walked into the school with her groceries in hand. Not once did I see any of the teachers smile the whole time I was there. They looked like they hated being there! The director, Jessica Grasso, is super unfriendly, cold, and just plain rude! This is not a happy environment these poor kids are in. Please, take your kids to a more loving environment, where your child isnt just another paycheck to the teachers.

Ive been using this day care for more than 5 years, and I would not recommend it. The only reason we stayed is the location and long hours they are open. The staff is constantly changing, from caregivers to directors. The staff can be very rude, young, and unprofessional. They are very limited on activities as well. I would have left a long time ago if I could.
