So glad I attend this program! The staff and teachers are super understanding and go out of their way to offer help. Ms. Maggie was super fun and genuine, she loves to nit pick but it’s all for the greater good. She definitely prepared us well and I feel so much more confident thanks to her. This program has truly allowed me to get a better feel of what path I would like to take and what working with patients is really like. I got to meet different residents during clinical and it taught me a lot. So grateful for all the amazing people I met during this program. If you’re looking to get hands on experience and interested in the medical field but unsure what specific pathway, IHG is definitely a good place to start!

I just graduated from International Health Group, I was in the summer class and it was an amazing experience. For the theory portion of the course I had Ms. CJ and she was very thorough with the material we had to learn. She was incredibly nice and I learned a lot that I was able to apply in my clinical portion of the course. For clinical I had Ms. Maggie and she was absolutely amazing. She helped me learn each procedure but made it fun at the same time. She is very understanding and kind, but still strict with learning the material. My classmates were all super close and we were all supportive of each other. In the office Ms. Lesya is a great connection to have, she is extremely supportive and informative. Over all an amazing school and amazing staff.

Awesome instructors who thoroughly prepare their students for the state exam. Despite COVID guideline, they were able to improvise and allow students to get practice and experience with patient care. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get started in their health care career.

I am beyond than happy that I took my Medical Assistant program at the International Health Group with Mrs. Hendricks. I did the weekend program which was the best fit with my school schedule. There are many great things about the program with IHG such as the flexibility with schedules. Also, the design of the program provided me with the necessary practice that I was looking for before start working. I was not looking into a long program with loans at all, I was looking at a fast-paced program that provide me with the clinical practice required in the medical field. Moreover, I wanted a program with externship to get training and IHG was perfect in providing that opportunity! Mrs. Hendricks is a great teacher! She teaches you what you need to know either clinically or at a work environment such as patient interaction and HIPAA. On top of all that, it was fun! Yes, learning and enjoying the time reading together is not the combo you would often have when it comes to education. Mrs. Hendricks made it fun, pleasant and great journey for me throughout the MA program. Also, I loved that they cared about making sure it was the right program for me before registration. Miss Tiffany helped me to set the goal, and made sure it was the right program for me as a college student. They help through finding jobs afterward which is amazing because not every program will do that! In addition, Mrs. Hendricks can help in preparing for the exam to be certified if you decide to take it.It was a great experience for me and I am very thankful and grateful for the IHG team and the great opportunity.

Miss Carla was a great teacher. I was at first afraid to get out of my comfort zone of what I was used to doing on a day to day basis, but she made the transition smooth. Her lessons were easy to follow & was always there for her students when they needed help. She brightened everyones day and made the entire program enjoyable for her students. She had incredible & realistic stories to tell in order to help us move forward in our career! You can easily tell how passionate of a person she is, such a great experience!

I was destitute, on the verge of rock-bottom. Miss CJ and Miss Maggie brought me back to life. They taught me all the skills I need to prepare for the CNA state exam. Miss CJ was very thorough with her explanations of the theory. Miss Maggie taught us to be more disciplined than what is required of us for the skills.

Mrs. Carla is one of the best teachers I have ever had! If anyone says otherwise they are a psychopath, no argument! I had a great experience because of her and I feel confidant that I was able to succeed in the class due to her excellent teaching! She always came to class with a smile and in a great mood, she is there for her students for whatever you need, and she will do everything in her power to make sure you learn while having a fun experience! 10/10 take her class if you can.

Ms. Carla was the best teacher I’ve ever had! I feel blessed to have gotten to know her and learn from her. She was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, and funny. I was in Ms. CJs theory and Ms. Maggies clinical class. It was a very good experience being in IHG, definitely recommend the CNA 22-day program. They help you understand everything from the book to the hands-on practice! If its your first time taking a health-setting related program, they also offer the CPR program right before clinicals start! I would say to definitely take the opportunity! Staff is very caring and attentive as well!!One of the best experiences for sure!!

I was on miss CJs Class during theory time, it helped me learned a lot in the CNA Course, with miss Maggies clinical and lab part of the course, gave me the courage and the knowledge to get hands on deck it was worth the 22 days of course studying!

IHG is such a great school that has taught me so much from building a great resume and finding jobs to learning a lot from the great instructors. Ms.Maggie and Ms.CJ are the best instructors. They are very tough on you but it helps when it comes to taking the state test and learning overall. I took the CNA course and currently taking the RNA course and I’m learning so much. I am happy I decided to choose IHG over other programs.

I attended IHG for my CNA classes in Kearny Mesa after looking at the reviews here and on Yelp. I had Ms. CJ for my theory class days and she was the best, very in detail with everything. The course was tough but as expected as it is a career in healthcare. Then for the rest of the 22 day course I had the pleasure of having Ms. Maggie as my clinical and lab instructor. Ms. Maggie is such a great teacher, she pushes you to keep bettering yourself in the skills needed to be successful for your state test. I really liked her style of teaching, how understanding she is, and she inspires me to be the best CNA I can be. Lab was fun and at the same time a great learning environment with Ms. Maggie and I will forever cherish the memories I made during my time here.

I just finished the CNA program with Ms. Carla and I had the BEST experience. Her teaching style is perfect for the type of content covered, she’s professional and compassionate, and she knows exactly how to bring a class full of strangers together, even though we all were wearing masks. This nursing school is running really well. Actually, I am a foreign student and I am old. I can not speak English well. The teachers class is very easy to understand. Always caring for me who cant speak English. The school management staff are very friendly. In particular, sun gave a lot of consideration to even small parts.

She always came to class with a bright spirit, and a warm smile (although we all wore masks, it was easy to recognize in her demeanor :-) ). She made the classroom a safe environment to talk about our studying & practicing concerns, practical life experience, and even how to handle our personal lives in general. I am so great full that I got stuck with such a fire-cracker of a teacher, and I will always remember her and my experiences with her as my embarkation to my nursing career. After looking for a school to attend for my CNA Class I was glad I found IHG. Everyone there is great. The next best thing that happened at IHG was being able to have Ms. Carla as my teacher. Winnie is the instructor for the Medical Assistant class at IHG and let me start by saying how amazing she is at her job. The fact that she works in the medical field and also teaches is what made me thrive because she was able to put some of her own insights into teaches and thats what I loved the most. She is a wonderful teacher, she definitely makes sure her students understands each topic and helps them with the hands on part of the class. Amazing Organization....22 days is hard for a CNA program but the teachers are dedicated and the staff is there to have you ultimately pass the state exam. Ms. Carolyn made our class fun and our group became friends for life. Ms. Carolyn provides lots of her own time making handouts and flash cards and most importantly she is always there in class or outside of class to answer any questions we may have. Not only does she make instruction fun and easy,but she also goes above and beyond to make sure youll succeed in and out of class. I 100% recommend taking your CNA or any vocational course here at IHG. The staff here are absolutely caring and helpful. She is very thorough and clearly demonstrates how important it is to be detailed in the way we work with our residents and those in our care.
