Two years ago I had the good insight of enrolling in Concordes PTA program. The program is run by knowledgeable Physical Therapists invested in quality education (Mary, Sam, Laura, Kelly, Dennis). They provided me with the necessary tools to start a new career and enter the work force feeling competent with my skills. The school has a department dedicated to assist graduates find a job, Alvy has personally helped me with this, he even rendered a mock interview so that I would show up to a possible employer as a strong and coherent candidate. Because the program is so well organized (from prerequisites to clinical rotations and even when/how to signing up for your board test!) it is easier to have a balance school/personal life. And when you approach the school, Karl, the security officer at the entrance, is the most welcoming and kind person that will ever open a door for you.

I graduated my Medical Assistant program in February and within the first week, I was getting multiple phone calls along with interviews. He understood what I preferred and got me a job 2 weeks after graduating. When asked again for employment help, no doubt I had phone calls just within business days! Rocky really does care about his students and makes sure we succeed and enjoy where we work. He goes above and beyond. I thank Concorde for having incredible staff.

Rocky Ramirez was the most helpful Graduate Employment Specialist the school could offer! Rocky went above and beyond to help me feel confident and prepared to attend my interviews and knock them out of the park. I was able to get hired one day after meeting with him. Rocky opened the doors to many job opportunities right after graduating.

I signed up for the MA program in April and that next December I was graduated. The program itself was amazing and the faculty was outstanding. After graduating I worked with Rocky Ramirez to obtain a job offer and it took less than a few days before I had multiple offers in my hand. He helped me fix up my resume and was driven to help me obtain a job. He didn’t rest till I was employed. It only goes to 5 stars but if I could I would have given a 10 star review. Amazing job!!!

These school prey on low income students. Go through your local community college and enroll in their medical assistant, Dental or RN program which only costs $2500. Yes it takes a little longer but you get quality education that won’t put you in debt. Stay away from these for profit schools.

My experience with concord with amazing from start date to finish date and even with the epidemic of coronavirus hitting Concord staff and to be exact Rocky Ramirez who did not stop until he made sure I was employed and also he made sure I was ready for my interview he also helped me with my resume to update it even after we were home from Coronavirus, as well as the teachers Mr. Salazar, Miss Tamika as well as from our front door security guard greeting us every day with positive attitude to the beautiful ladies at the front desk and the amazing staff in the back helping me to financial aid and everything else that comes with getting ready to go back to school I just really appreciate Concord and if youre thinking of going to a School Concord is the way to go.

You will not have time for anything else. This is not an exaggeration. I taught myself to code for half a year before attending Concorde Career College so the first three weeks were relatively light for me. That being said, I was only able to have weekend evenings free during this time. When it came time to create our web apps from scratch, I literally had no time for anything else even on the weekend.

I had an overall great experience at Concorde. I applied for the Medical Assistant program and it was great. The other students were great and the teachers were both nice, easy to work with as well as doing a great job running the class and teaching us skills with ease even through the whole pandemic. They really helped me to with getting an externship and getting a job as well. I got hired right out the bat! I also appreciate that I can go back for more schooling in the future if that’s what I want to do as well as helping me if I need a job in the future. Overall great experience and definitely worth it!

I just finished the MA Program at Concorde and I have loved my experience with them. First of all the teachers are amazing. I had a pleasure to learn from Mr. Salazar and Ms. Tameka and i have learned through my short time being a Medical Assistant how much they really cared to show me. They really took the time to make sure I was grasping every detail they were teaching me. I also had the pleasure working with Mrs.Gamballa during my externship she took the time to really find me the location and the practice that I wanted and the most convenient location for me. Lastly, I have had the pleasure of working with Rocky the employment coordinator at Concorde. Rocky has taken the time to prep me for interviews and personally edit my resumes. Rocky has given me the opportunity to connect me with Radys Childrens supervisors for a job and Im in the process of being hired. I am so thankful for him because I did not know what to expect from being interviewed by such a big corporation. I still call him to give him updates on how the process is going and he still takes the time to give me advice so I can get to where I want to be. I definitely recommend Concorde and I hope that everyone has the same experience as I do. I have been blessed to have been taught by great people who really care about my future.

If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. Im aware that this review will anger Concorde Career College because theyre all about looking good so more students will pour money into their school but I poured my veteran benefits into this school and they were NOT worthy of them or the benefits of other veteran students. From day 1, the vocational nursing program and those managing it have shown a constant and blatant disregard for the students and the sacrifices they are making to afford nursing school during a pandemic. The amount of stress from dealing with a school like this is toxic. The education is NOT worth 38,000 when it is poorly ran. Given that this school makes MILLIONS off student taking out student loans and veterans using their Chapter 31 and GI Bill benefits, theres a level of professionalism and structure that should have been established for their LVN program. The stress of the disorganization, no accountability from the higher ups, and a impossible curriculum led to me losing my hair in clumps. When a teacher decided to put material on an exam that wasnt taught and said it wasnt a big deal when more than 50% of the nursing cohort failed, I decided this school wasnt worth my time anymore. It was at that point that I decided it was time to withdraw from this school after speaking with my Vocational Rehabilitation counselor who said he wouldnt recommend this school anymore. As a veteran who sacrificed 8 years of service to earn my education benefits I expected more from Concorde. Considering this VN program costs thousands of dollars every term, my cohort and I to expected that the instruction, administration, scheduling, and most importantly, the communication, would meet and exceed standard professional practices. At this moment, I would NEVER recommend Concorde to anyone that asks me if they should attend. I wouldnt ever tell a veteran to come waste their benefits here at this school. The disorganization, lack of accountability, and gaslighting is unacceptable. Sending students emails at 10pm about exams or clinicals they didnt know about is UNACCEPTABLE when it leads to over 50% of the class failing. This pattern continued for 3 classes. Exams are scheduled and instructors dont even know it and show up confused. Clinical sites dont respect this school and the lack of professionalism that permeates Concorde when they send a group to a site and never communicated with the directors at the site. That is UNSAT when it can lead to the students missing out on hours needed by the board of nursing. Blaming the pandemic when multiple reviews dating back a year or more have echoed the same sentiments show that this has been going on for a while and Concorde is now just wanting to change because veteran students are dropping and not recommending this institution to other veterans. In my eyes, this school took advantage of students desperate to get into the nursing force in the middle of a pandemic. They knew their program was messed up and still continued when they could have stopped taking applications until AFTER they figured out how to do nursing online during a pandemic. It just goes to show they didnt want to miss out on money and went ahead using my cohort as the experimental cohort that would have to start over if they failed out of any classes.Do your research and stay away from for-profit schools like this school--youll be paying the price for it later. Go to Miracosta or Southwestern College who have great LVN programs with credits that WILL transfer. Your credits do NOT transfer from this school. Youll be paying 38K for a diploma in nursing and still have to take pre-nursing courses to do a step-up or bridge program--thats more money the student has to dish out when they could go to the 2 schools I mentioned who lets you walk away with a associates degree and credits that transfer .

I was a student 9 years ago and had a great experience at Concorde Career College. The dental assisting program and teacher covered as much as is possible considering that all offices are different. They worked hard to get me loans and grants and a payment that worked with my incomeWith what I learned I was able to get a job with almost any dentist only having to update radiology if I moved to a different state.it has been well worth the money.I would recommend Concorde CC San Diego

Let me write the most honest review I have ever written. Concorde career college does not get the extra credit it deserves.First I would like to thank the amazing Security guard named Raz, I know to most people he’s just another security guard but to Concorde he’s another amazing employee to the way he interacts with the students and staff. To helping individuals that walk through the door, to opening the door saying have a great day! So Thank you raz for being so helpful and kindhearted. Finical aid Dept does not get enough credit, it’s the most stressful thing about starting school is the finical aid part, not only are they well attentive but they are patient they will break down every bit of the finical aid for you. To them your not another number like other schools these ladies and gentlemen really do pay attention to your questions and concerns. Thank you Eva for helping me with my finical aid you made it so easy for me to understand the break down. You didn’t care to rush you took your time with my mother and I with the paperwork. Eva even went the extra mile and stayed with my mother and I 2hours passed the time we started to finish to make sure we had everything done she’s so attentive and honest I love that about her. If you ever need help with information Terri is your #1 Gal, she is so sweet let alone super funny. She gives you all the information you need etc. Terri is fast when it comes to getting back to you either it’s calls or emails it does not matter she is quick. She will show you what programs they have available what you need to do before hand when school starts etc. she truly cares about her job to me as a new student that means a lot.

Concorde was so awesome! This was my 5th time attempting college and I’m so glad that things worked out this time around! The instructors Mr. Salazar and Ms. Tameka were amazing teachers to have! They were so detailed and thorough when they taught the class. Most instructors teach from the book, they taught seriously from the heart! The course was fast paced and hands on! I loved Concorde and I will forever be grateful for everyone I met thought my 9 month program. I’m on my way to externship! 👏🏼👏🏼😁

Will never recommend this school to anyone unless every thing is getting paid for. Too expensive for what they offer. Teachers are great but the departments cant say the same. You can go to U.S San Diego College for a fraction of the price. Finding a job through them and job security is never promised. I spend 1 year searching for a job. Only reason why i work in the medical field is because i knew someone. I tried using their employment services to help me find a job but they never found a open position. Within a year i sent out 13 resumes and employment services didnt bother following up . When i attended 2 staff quit within a year that were supposed to help me obtain a job. Their motto was,You have a high chance of hire. They send you where ever they use your free services and let you go after your done with internship. I regret going to this school but its my fault for not doing my research. Please dont do the same. Stick to community college or a cheaper trade school. Trust me.

I had excellent service here. I think I got lucky, as the student who treated me had extensive dental experience in the Navy, and was simply going through the motions to get licensed. So he already knew what he was doing and could probably have been one of the instructors. There were constant inspections by the instructors and a dentist. Their treatment is only $20 for the ENTIRE YEAR no matter what services you need. Cant beat this place for dental hygiene services.

Getting in contact with these folks after graduating is damn near impossible. (Oh but they call you for their money the day after graduation) The staff cycles in and out the door like nobodys business and you should be surprised if you find that last semesters instructor is still teaching there. In short, this is the online warning that I never got. Please, dont make the same mistake and suffer collecting the correct academic information and receiving little to no help from their career center like I did. Make no mistake, this school is in it for the money and they cant wait to wring you dry.

I chose Concorde because I wanted to go to college but also not wanted to spend full 2 years into becoming a DA. Staff were really great and pretty nice and always willing to help out even the security guards were always pretty cool with students. Was there a memorable instructor or associate who helped you become successful? Mrs.Mckay was amazing in the night class I will never forget how much she helped me become a successful dental assistant she always pushed me to do better bc she knew I was capabale of doing it. Mrs.Mckay you’re AWESOME!!! Concorde helped me out on becoming a great dental assistant and also helping me get a job. Mrs.Reymmer stayed in touch with me even after i was graduated.
