Experience was great my daughter when here for 6 to 8 and all three years it was amazing the teachers are so nice the cafeteria is not filled with anything its clean the schools because Big Jim big auditorium at the upstairs and downstairs they have lots of classes like music Art band chorus pewter classes have lots of classes and I recommend it highly my daughter comes home every day with a smile she loves to school so I recommend it as a hundred percent good school

My experience with Landmark middle school was such a WONDERFUL one! My daughter attended this school during her 6th grade and her 8th grade. Her teachers were AMAZING! Caring, understanding, driven, organized, kept in touch with parents ALWAYS, just all you would want a teacher to be. They definitely have their students best interest at heart.I must confess I was a little skeptical about sending my daughter to this school because of the bad reviews and the ratings I read but I took my chances and boy am I glad I did. My daughter went in as an honor student and finished as an honor student. I can only hope that her High School teachers be at least half as wonderful as her middle school teachers were. LOVED LOVED LOVED this school!!

I started this school January 6,2017! This school is so amazing so far. If I like it your going to like it too! This school is not terrible its just specific children that seems to ruin the schools environment.

Y’all not gonna get on my school like that 😂😂 I went to landmark 6th-8th i had fun and made lots of friends that I’m still friends with to this day (I’m a junior in high school), we even talk about how we miss landmark. The staff sucks but students are great

I hate this school and I hate it with a passion. The deans are terrible, especially dean baker. Dress coding literally everything I was wearing a a shirt with leggings and TWO jackets around my waist to cover up. You idiots are dress coding girls because of their body shapes

Don’t ever send your child to this school !!. This school is infested with roaches and perverts. Boys their like to touch girls. Most of the people their are very rude . I would rate the teachers a 3 and the staff 0. The staff is very rude especially one of the deans. One of the deans yells at everyone for no reason and is very rude. There are SO MANY FIGHTS !!! It’s NOT EVEN FUNNY. The teachers don’t even do anything’s other then give the kids a contract to not go near each other and give them issp or expell them for just a couple of days. Also a lot of boys their are so rude even the girls.Just don’t send your child to landmark they will be miserable and not wanna go to school !!

I loved Landmark and I had great experiences there in 6th and 8th grade. I have meet some of the most inspiring teachers here in this school that helped me achieve perfect report cards. They are the ones that helped me get in my dream high school, Darnell-Cookman. There arent many problems I had with Landmark but I have to say the biggest problem is the student body. It is hard to concentrate in class with people who does not care about their education and future or the fact that they are inhibiting others education as well. I really hated the moments where the students would disrupt class by being too loud and disrespectful. Teachers are human too, parents cannot expect a teacher to keep a sane mind when being faced with kids with the I-dont-care attitude on a daily basis. But they do, or try their best to be a good teacher for the students. I thinks the teachers who kept up with this environment are phenomenal. If your child has a problem with grades or anything else, the teachers will gladly help in ways that they can if you just communicate with them.Also, the amount of work in Landmark is definitely manageable so your child should not be complaining about homework load. They either do it or procrastinate and get a bad grade, that is all there is to it. The problems here is not with the teachers but rather, parental guidance, I would say.

I am starting this school this year when they come back on winters break. Is the school good to go there? I heard a lot of bad feedback so I was wondering. I just moved to Florida and dont know anyone. I hope someone reply soon. Btw I am going to the 6th grade.

Schools trash theyll give you issp for no reason and detention for petty stuff don’t send your kid here. You get searched for drugs and other stuff if your late to class. Schools dumb go to Arlington or fletcher

Do not go to this school. The food sucks . The teachers don’t even grade the work that they give you. They are part of the reason why some people’s Christmas was ruined by the teachers.

This school is good. People may think its a terrible school, well no... the teachers actually care about the students and try there best. There are multiple guidance counselors who are the bomb and help you and actually talk to you its great and I highly recommend it. And all of those other comments that are talking bad about it are probally bullied students who bully others and there were never cocaine incidents, it was a manly marajuana. But the kids that did that are long gone and now the school is filled with decent kids not the best but pretty chill, for the most part..Also landmark is going to make the students where uniforms next school year... but you do you I think its a good school.Btw: this is her son a former student attending landmark

My experience at Landmark middle school suck. Ive went their for 2 years and the first quater of 8th grade. The lunch is horrible, the school staff is very nice the first time they meet you then they turn on you like a pitbull 😑. Lots of fighting at landmark middle, If your having a problem in the school like if someones bullying you telling a teacher or staff member IS NOT GONNA SOLVE THE PROBLEM THEY ARE GONNA MAKE IT WORSE trust me. The cafateria is soo bad😷 roaches on the lunch table roaches running around all over the place cock roaches runing up in down the halls. The teachers dont care about the students at all a couple of teachers admitted that they only teach for the paycheck 😑. And the assistant principle is really mess up she pulled my hair. I dont really recommend going to this school but, its your choice. 😕

I am a social worker who visits many Duval County schools including Landmark, where I have a 6th grade client. The front office secretary is the rudest, most unhelpful assistant out of all the many schools that I visit as part of my job. She is consistently condescending and impatient with not only myself, but I have seen her treat parents the same way. Shame on Landmark.
