I train and compete regularly out of Paragon Arizona, Tucson. I was in town visiting a friend for a week, looking for a place to train while I was here. Impact was amazing. Super technical instruction. Welcoming environment. Super friendly community supporting this gym. If I lived here, I dont know why I would train anywhere else.Thanks to the Impact team for giving me a gym home for a few days. You folks were awesome and I really appreciated my time there.

My kids have been taking classes here for several years and the coaches are amazing. Coach Nate has been so good to them. I just took my first womens no gi class and absolutely LOVED IT! I will be back weekly.

Love the place, been going for just over 4 years now and always cant wait to go back! Coaches are great and super helpful. Not to mention the atmosphere, everyone is happy, excited, and ready to learn black belt or white belt! If you are looking for a good BJJ gym you need to go here!

Ive been training at this academy for just over two years now. I joined shortly after moving up here for work from San Diego. It was great to go from knowing no one to having friends that Id just as soon call family from all walks of life and lines of work.Come check this place out if nothing else!

Great place, kids have been going for awhile here. Dont like that they took seating away for the parents though.

If you are looking for a place to learn the art of Jiu Jitsu or simply get in shape I highly recommend Impact Jiu Jitsu (Hillsboro). The facility is spacious and clean. The students are friendly. I am new and it already feels like family. Impact Jiu Jitsu (Hillsboro) may have all this going for it but what is more important than that is the instructor. Richard is a highly decorated Black Belt. He has the ability to give clear instruction that a novice to Black Belt can understand and benefit. He is a great guy and I’m sure that once you meet him you will agree.

Richard Rangel is one of the top coaches in the area, with one of the best all around jiu jitsu games. He mixes traditional jiu jitsu with with a strong leg lock system and it shows in his students.

Because of my line of work Ive move a lot and over the years Ive had opportunities to train at many high level gyms all over California, Nevada, and Thailand but when I walked into Impact Hillsboro I could imediatly tell that ths was a great gym from the display of medals on the wall and the level of techniques from the instructor Richard and from his students is fantastic.Also the sense of community that Rich gives to the gym is what makes it a special place people from all walks of life joined together under the banner of jiu jitsu is an awesome thing to be apart of. the people who train here are dedicated to the art and are always trying to improve and compete and because of that mentality my game has improved dramaticly! If your a begginer or a seasoned vet I highly recommend this gym.Its a rare little gem of jiu jitsu right in the heart of downtown hillboro.I expect in years to come this gym will be a power house of jiu jitsu in the pacific northwest.
