I attended the School of Respect for 5 years and felt nothing but love and respect from the family that runs it. It is a wonderful place to go whether you are looking to learn some self defense or are seeking a positive and respectful influence for your child. Martial arts is challenging but is made fun by the School of Respect family. They provide leadership opportunities as higher level students are given the opportunity to help teach the lower levels. Very family friendly environment, 10/10 would recommend :)

This family centric dispenser of values and techniques has been fantastic to work with from the start when we were not even potential customers. We were introduced to them by my parents who were attending classes and we enjoyed their hospitality and the character values we saw them help instill in others and when our children had the opportunity to attend we leapt at the chance. We are so grateful for the positive impact this school and the whole Frazier family has had in our lives. Yes, Sir and Yes Maam are still frequently heard phrases in our home thanks to you all!

The School of Respect is an amazing and caring place. They helped my greatly when I was struggling and made me a better person. The Masters at The School of Respect are like family to me, they took their time to help out everyone and made their dojang a safe space for me. I am incredibly thankful for the help they all gave me, I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them. I cannot express how loving the Masters are, they build a personal level with each of the students and their families. I achieved a Black Belt through their program and won many gold medals through tournaments even though I suffer from physical disabilities, and I feel confident that I can defend myself if needed. Please give The School of Respect a chance, they are life changing people.❤️

Our son has been going to School of Respect for a couple of years now. They have been great in getting our son interested in Taekwondo in a very unique and effective way. In just a couple of years our son is now a green belt and has enjoyed every class. He looks forward to going every time, and when there were a few times we had to miss class, he was bummed. That says a lot about the friendliness of everyone there. The way that the masters teach discipline, respect, manners has also been extremely helpful. Additionally their adaptation to the difficult times we all experienced last year was amazing by providing online classes that kept our son going. More over, the summer camps are just amazing! the trips to the rivers, the water fountains, and group activities in the Dojang were all even more bonuses. Thank you for everything School of Respect!

Ive known the Fraziers for many years. They are active in the community and of high integrity. Their training integrates the martial arts with a deep respect for people. They teach students to think of martial arts as a mind/body discipline, to be used only when the bully threatens self or others, and there is no path to peaceful resolution. Highly recommended.

Many years ago I participated in this program with absolutely no knowledge going in. I didnt know what to expect and that was exciting to me. Afterall, Ive never done a martial art before. On the first day I was thoroughly impressed with how welcoming everyone was to the new coming white belts. Everyone could go at their own pace without a worry. They did a very good job keeping families together so no sibling or guardian was left behind. Overall, I was very impressed with my time there and sometimes wish it never ended.

My son started here when he was 8 years old and worked his way up past his black belt by the time he started high school. This was a great program to reinforce the values, discipline and respectful behavior we were teaching at home. This took him to multiple competitions on a local and national level, but it was way more than a sport. It was family and an extended place to learn, grow and become a productive member of society. I would recommend this program to anyone of any age as there is value in what is taught both physically and mentally. Today my son is in his second tour with the US Coast Guard and I know that if he were writing this review he would point to the things he learned at The School of Respect as helping him in his carrier path today.

We have been with the School of Respect since 2013. My children started participating in the Taekwondo classes that were offered at their school as an after school activity. Currently the older one has a second degree black belt and the younger one just earned her black belt in the spring. We have been very happy with the School of Respect. The Masters role model hard work, respect for oneself and for each other, family first, open communication and having fun.One of the things I really appreciate about the Masters is how they approach the black belt. They invite you to take the black belt test when you are ready. I find this approach better than what I have seen in some other places where its a time based thing. This means that you trust the Masters and the child is able progress at their own pace (both my children earned their black belts while in elementary school).Something I love about the School of Respect is the family focused environment they provide. They actively teach the children that they should help out at home and respect their parents and siblings; I feel it is good reinforcement of values and expectations.I also love how they do Tuesday community service and the donations and charity work over the winter holidays. Finally, during Covid, they have been fantastic. They went to Zoom meetings right away and although obviously not ideal, it was good. They were very creative with the testing as well and the test was done in a nature park and the children tested out in the open in a large field with masks.

I’ve had my son in and out of the program over the years. The Fraziers always work with us and are flexible with changing schedules, etc. They teach respect and that’s difficult to do nowadays.I’ve read some of the “bad” reviews on here that warn people. Yes, if you are raising free-range children this might not be the best fit; then again, it just might…as they will range on safe turf. You want safety, adults that are always keeping their eyes on your children, adults who can easily pass background checks and who are teaching your kids rather than fluffing their own egos - then this is the place to be. It’s the School of Respect and 2021 people; you get what you pay for! Aren’t your kids worth it?

Truly an amazing to place to learn taekwondo as well as respect. This school helped me to refine both, perfecting my techniques and skills as a martial artist past simple and basic knowledge. Another important aspect of the school is that it does not focus solely on taekwondo but instead incorporates hapkido as well making for a more well rounded set of skills. Apart from that however, both the community and the masters are both extremely welcoming and compassionate. As someone who both was strongly involved in that community and benefited greatly from the instructors teaching methods and kindness, I’m proud to say I attended the school of respect and learned from the best!!! All of the masters have done nothing but make my life and my taekwondo amazing! Lastly, the instructors spare no effort in making their students be the best they can be. Taekwondo can be extremely high effort. However, the masters have always been more than willing to put in as much or more effort in order to give the students the most fruitful and enjoyable experience.

Chosing the School of Respect was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Ive had the privilege of meeting some fantastic people, but none as extraordinary as the Frazier family. I had no idea how my daughter was going to take to Tae Kwon Do. And to my surprise she took to it like a fish to water.During the Covid pandemic, the School of Respect suffered a major setback due to strangulating regulations. They could have easily just closed the doors like so many other small businesses. But they felt the need to push through for the sake of our children and found any way and means to help our kids get through these hard times. In times of need, the Fraziers have always stepped up to help without hesitation. All the above is community service at its finest. And for that, we are very thankful. On another note, the School of Respect is definitely an extention of who we are as a family. They teach respect and morals that are quickly being lost in todays society. They have the same values that I hold close and try and pass on to my daughter.

I am so sad that it has come to having to leave this review. I have been back and forth the entire time on things I agreed with this school and didnt. I have two amazing boys. One of my boys was struggling in school with kids in his space and he was struggling to regulate his emotions. We turned to reading online and Martial Arts was given as a suggestion. We looked around and this one seemed close to us that we would give it a try. We ended up signing up both our boys up however our oldest didnt need it besides an extra curriculum activity. It was after their first testing that my husband and I was very shocked on the feedback we received about our oldest child from them. After that we focused on his dream of doing a different sport and took a small break from this place while still paying. In July we went back full time while I did a career move change. With the change my schedule changed and we will no longer be able to attend however it was an easy decision as we have been very unhappy since the feedback we received about our oldest child when that kid gets nothing but praise from all his teachers and is a role model to most kids. Fast track I am switching jobs and my pay check is going to be a week later than normal due to the career change. I contact their financial dept they advise they cant change the payment date but advised me to send an email to have my checking removed that way it doesnt pull and cause fees for them or myself. A week passes and I receive payment coupons that nothing was told on the phone about and my payment amount has increased? I call and they say that the payment increased because the school gives a 10% discount for automatic payments. I review the contract their is nothing in there about this or if you remove it you will increase you payment by 10%. I asked the financial dept questions they are unable to help and say that we need to contact the School of Respect i send and email and receive no response or direction on what to do. Any other email I have sent when we were active members I received a response right away. I noticed they have been posting on social media yet cant respond. I call again to the financial group because I havent had any success of a response they threaten me with if I dont pay including the $20 dollar late fee on top of the 10% additional amount for their suggestion to cancel my account they will send me to collections. I reviewed the contact again their is nothing about receiving a late fee the contract specifically states A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned check or rejected credit card charge this is why I specifically asked and they suggested to have the checking account cancelled then it wasnt returned or rejected. These are hidden fees and not in the contract and I am very surprised by them.I am also surprised they are making me pay these additional fees has our family has not been going since March and Master Ron says all the time during his lectures if you are not happy with what he is saying we can leave at anytime. I am not sure why he is saying this if when its time to leave and you dont like something they did they dont respond to assisting or directing. My family is a good and honest family and I suggest you really think about all this before deciding to go with the school. I saw another review that says they paid people $20 for a 5 star rating I know they are still doing that but with a coffee gift card for a 5 star rating if that matters to you at all. I hope other people dont experience the same outcome we did. I appreciate honest and upfront business and that is not what this is. I also dont like when they have a finance dept running their finances but they are unable to help with any questions.

We might still be in a honey-moon phase, but I see this being a long term activity for our family. Not many places have this great of a community that is safe and teaches life skills!

I am a first degree black belt through the School of Respect. The Masters have not only taught me and my family how to protect ourselves, but have also helped me to learn to respect my family and those around me. They have very good teaching and life ethics, and I have never seen anything but love and discipline in The School of Respect.

When we first decided to try the month trial for my son at the school of respect we did not expect too much. My son was having quite a few behavioral issues at home and at school. The first day master Ron was talking about how bullying is not okay and what to do if you are getting bullied. The longer we went through the month trial the more we were seeing that this is lifestyle change of learning to be respectful and giving the kids a positive way to learn to be respectful of others. The setting here is comfortable as you go more you start to see that the masters who run the school of respect really live the values that they are teaching by having their family all involved and treating each other the way they teach. They have really showed us what it means to be respectful, to be a leader, to have accountability for your own actions and to be kind. This is more than just kids learning martial arts as an after school activity it’s it teaching them confidence, discipline and respect. Our month long trial was over several months ago and we have no plans to stop going there anytime soon.I’ve noticed such a change for the better in my sons behavior since we started at the school of respect that I would personally like to thank master Ron, master Molly, master Zach, master Sammy and master Grace. Keep up the great work!

First I just want to say great place if you are looking to build your confidence and skills and build respect for self, others and country....for all ages! I had concerns when I first looked into it and started as I am no spring chicken. They work with you and help you as you journey to becoming a Blackbelt...and that is what it is...a journey. Its a journey that teaches you values like respect, and discipline and Courtesy. It builds Character and Confidence that will stay with you. This is what they teach here. They teach it to everyone here no matter who you are or your age, young or old. If you have it, they reinforce it daily and consistently. We all need that. Kids especially need it and will trive on the consistency. If this is what you are seeking for yourself or your family then this is the place for you.My family found all of that here....and our family is a lot bigger now because we have our Dojang family too.

School of Respect is a family owned martial arts school that focuses on building and reinforcing families. They instill the core values of respect, confidence and discipline through the principles of Taekwondo. Our family has personally benefitted from these aspects and much more along our Journey of growing three 2nd degree black belts, one 1st degree black belt, and one who is still working towards a back belt, currently at a red belt. If you are looking for a Martial arts school with these values, I highly recommend The School of Respect!!

Ive been wanting to post this for years, but my parents were worried because the Fraziers are manipulative, controlling, and vindictive people.. But Im an adult now and we moved out of state, and for some reason they reached out to me to try to become friends again. So here we are! They talked about my family behind our backs to other familys in the TKD school, sharing our personal private information with others. Even as far as emailing out personal information. It was mortifying.Master Molly manipulated and belittled me multiple times, and I was only 15. She made me log into my social media account on her computer at the school and criticized my photographs, and content despite my parents having full access and knowledge of what was on there. Since I was still young it was all very appropriate, especially given my conservative upbringing. She mocked me, was really judgmental, and because I looked up to her so much it was devastating to me at the time.Master, Pastor, Chief of the Campground Ron... clearly has control issues. Those are all self given names, that he boasted about regularly. He has no respect for anyone.**When our family questioned some of the things the Fraizers were teaching Ron became enraged, sent my parents multiple emails with personal insults. Then proceeded to demote me in the next class in front of all my peers and friends, before kicking my little brother and I out. Ron humiliated a child, because my parents dared to question him.

School of Respect is a great place for kids that have a lot of energy. The Masters know how to channel my sons energy so he can over come his challenges and be successful. It has been a great experience for our family.
