Master Yoo is a great instructor and teacher. The kids love him and respect him. One of the best TKD places I I have visited. My daughter (7) has learned not to be so wiggly, along with leaning TKD. Highly recommend.

Just what we were looking for! Master Yoo is fun and energetic while teaching the kids to be respectful and focused. He really takes the time to help them learn the forms correctly. Straight forward terms and schedule flexibility too! We are so glad we found him.

Simply the best! Master Yoo is an amazing instructor for both adults and children. He instructed our oldest daughter from the Little Tigers program all the way through to earning her black belt. He is very patient with children, and beyond the Tae Kwon Do skills they learn, the children learn discipline and respect for themselves and others. The program provides both adults and children with the confidence to succeed not only in the studio but in their daily lives at school, work and home.

I have been a student under Master Yoo for a year now and I only have good things to say. Master Yoo is a great instructor, he truly cares about the success of each one of his students.Classes are available Monday - Saturday with a variety of times. Making it accessible for people with different schedules.They also have introductory classes, for those who are curious about what a class would be like.

I have been practiced TKD for 7 yrs in university TKD club before joining here, and participated several university-level tournaments previously. This dojang is by far the best dojang I have found both in terms of skills and discipline. As a millennial born in South Korea, the discipline you will learn here is not too tight as you see from the traditional martial arts, but good enough to respect others. I dont even need to mention the skills I have acquired after 2 yrs of training here; I had a chance to go back to my university and practiced with my old folks, they said I got better at sparring and forms.

Two years ago, I took my first taekwondo class by chance. Its been an amazing journey ever since. Master Yoo challenges you to do your best while maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment. Every class is a workout, but a fun workout. Taekwondo is an amazing martial art, and Master Yoos dojang is an awesome place to learn it.

Master Yoo is an amazing instructor! My son and I studied under Master Yoo for four years. His energy and positive encouragement are boundless. I highly recommend his class to anyone looking to improve their childs focus, confidence and/or self-control.

Our son started TKD in Northern VA when he was six years old and we moved to Oregon when he was about halfway through his training to black belt. When we arrived at our new home we started the search for a new dojang. After trying out three different TKD schools (for multiple months) we found Master Yoos World Champion TKD. Even though our son had studied TKD for three years prior to our arrival the forms for each belt were completely different. Master Yoo and his staff helped our son learn the lower belt forms while continuing work on his next level. Our son earned his first degree black belt in November of 2017 and remains a student of Master Yoos to this day. Other TKD parents frequently comment how well our son comports himself and weve seen a significant different in confidence and bearing since he started with Master Yoo. I highly recommend the school and its instructors if youre looking for a sport that instills confidence, respect, and fitness for your child.

For four years I had the privilege of training under Master Yoo. His dedication to his art is evident in everything he does. Master Yoo has a knack for pushing you to your limits - and then some - while still making the class fun. Martial Arts are especially great for kids, helping them learn respect, self control and discipline. I think this is where Master Yoo really shines, he loves the kids and they all love him.

Master Yoo is not only a talented TKD Master, he also is a very good instructor. His skill at teaching children and adults is beyond par. The value of his lessons extend beyond martial arts and provide children with confidence, self-control and respect. TKD is an excellent family activity.
