Hoggard can only be described as a mixed bag of basically everything. They have students of all types and backgrounds, teachers ranging from some of the best in the nation to some that I would never recommend to anyone. The building itself isnt new but its fairly well kept and there are plans to renovate some of the older areas within the next year.

I am an assistant varsity coach for the mens basketball team. More important than finishing the season as regular season and conference tournament champions (MaxPreps #11 in NC 4A) was the fact that our varsity team had an unweighted 3.3 GPA. Even more impressive was 25 of the 32 student athletes (JV & varsity) had a 3.5 GPA or higher, including 15 with a 4.0 or higher.

The counselors go above and beyond helping the students! Thank you Hoggard High for providing quality staff members for our kids.

Nothing to share except its governed by New Hanover bpard of education. Which means its a poor choice to get an education.

Too packed. Kids here are horrible. They vandalize other schools bc they got beaten in a football game. Will always be a bad blood.
