I am forever grateful for Sara Puff, my sons guidance counselor. She has always provided wonderful support and is very quick to respond to my questions or concerns. A+ for sure!

I love my high school, even though most my classmates are pieces of s**t, I still respect there opinion. My teachers are awesome and have some hilarious storys and jokes.

The school was AWEFUL. Teachers hated their jobs and the students. The teachers didnt teach what they were supposed to teach. All of the funding went to Football meaning the other sports had to raise the money themselves or not have a chance at winning. This school sucked! Never let you kid suffer at this hell hole

Pros:(most of) The teachers here seem to have a sense of humor and enjoy their job.Many opportunities for sports and a really passionate and growing arts program.Probably the best Jeffco school in terms of foreign language courses.lots of individualized courses for different peopleA boatload of extracurricular or after-school activitiesCons:There is a drug problem, but that kind of thing is to be expexted. Im only giving this two stars as the teachers are great. The students have ruined my reputation, spread rumors, are high in class, and are apathetic and heartless. Enough said.

This is literally the worst school Ive ever attended. My nightmares came back to me, and I can understand that. But the Christmas Party keeps it away from 0 stars.

If you plan to take IB/AP/Honors, this school may be a great fit for you (especially AP). My education experience has been mostly positive, with the curriculum at its worst not stimulating and the teacher uninterested, but I found all AP classes to be challenging, engaging, and surrounded by well educated, supportive teachers.

Seems okay. Just want to see if anyone else has noticed that most of the people leaving bad reviews cant spell at all.

After attending SLHS and having siblings who have done the same, I would give it a four star rating. Most of my teachers were really good, especially in the social studies department as others have noted. However I took almost exclusively AP and honors classes, and as such had a limited pool of teacher. Many people would tell me that there teachers were horrible, but I never had any terrible teachers so I cant actually vouch for that.As for the drug problem, yes it exists, but almost exclusively is limited to THC and Alchahol.The Food was just blackjack pizza, but SLHS has an open campus so many of us just left to go to the nearby sonic or sandwich shop.

As a former student at SLHS, I personally found this school to have very few teachers who actually taught and such was mostly the social studies department. My son in fact, has also attended SLHS and there were many times he had explained to me the teachers were making inappropriate and racial comments as well as comments as If you have no idea what Im teaching, go home and cut your wrists. My son also suffers of depression and was very stressed with the treatment there. My son also said he knew about Vince(a student who lit himself on fire at the school), and close friends of his had rumored that he claimed school was what made his choice. Please, I repeat, please do not come to this school because I have never known a school so bad as to something like SLHS!

This school is filled with drugs and sucks but on the good side there are good electives

The administration at this school is about as consistent as a bipolar with ADD.

This is the WORST school...please if you want your kids to have a good education dont send the here..the staff is horrible and the front office ladies are like dealing with the dmv....HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE School

My son came home in tears after a teacher said a racist slur to my son. Not just one day, but for 3 weeks straight. Also, the teachers were sexist to my son as well. I saw the video my son took of a teacher letting 5 girls go to the bathroom, even after HE asked the teacher10 minutes before.

The school has so many options for honors/AP/IB and many electives to choose from!

Tate Minch, is the coolest guy in the whole school.

I went to school here, my experience there were drugs, some teachers are rude, food is not good nor bad.

This school is terrible. Do not send youre kids here and do not go here ever. The students are bullys and they are mean and nobody cares. The office doesnt do anything to help. Ive had a horrible experience at this school Coke pared to my last.

Its a very interactive school the teachers are mostly chill but there are always the teachers you dont get along with
