I started singing at VSMS with Sean Buhr 6 months ago. I have discovered a passion for singing, have learned piano/ukulele, and music has become an outlet for me. I have transformed into a good singer with many creative aspirations.Sean is intentional with his words, thorough, and consistent. He is easy to understand. Sean has always made me feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. He has been willing to work around my schedule. Sean always answers my 1,000,000 questions patiently! And he has given me many solid recommendations for resources such as books, websites, apps, equipment, etc. Sean has become a great teacher, coach, mentor, and friend to me.Sean and Van both work harder than anyone I know, and I would recommend their studio to anyone! I have worked with Sean for the last 5-6 years and he completely changed the way I sing. I feel way more confident and secure about my voice going into auditions and performing on stage. I took my first ever singing lesson here and it went so great! With the help and guidance of Sean i was able to get comfortable and be vulnerable with my voice. Ive shown some friends and family what ive learned and after only one session and it has inspired them to also take lessons here! I encourage anyone to give them a try!!
