Just started training here, and I was pretty nervous at first, but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by plenty of friendly faces that helped put my mind to ease. So far, Im loving it here, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody looking for a good place to train in martial arts.

If you want to learn martial arts this is the place to go! Fun, upbeat environment with great coaches with no shortage of knowledge in the sport. I am in my first week and I have already learned a lot! I recommend if you want to learn this art.

Not only was this the most elite gym I’ve ever been to, it was by far the friendliest. From the handsome Julian working behind the desk, to sensei Ludwig himself taking the time to instruct every student individually. If you’re a martial artist or just a fan, it’s worth stopping by for even just one class.

I drove to Denver all the way from Maryland to train with Duane and the other coaches! I stayed in Colorado to train with them for 4 days and I am definitely going to miss this gym for the time being that I’m gone. Not only was the training WORLD CLASS, the instructors are very detailed and will help you 1 on 1 to make sure you understand the technique. The classes are great for all levels from beginner to experienced! Everyone here was extremely welcoming and makes you feel at home! I am definitely coming back and I highly recommend anyone interested in learning the art of striking, to come train here! If only I could give more than 5 stars!

Everyone was humble and working hard on their skills. We would recommend training here for the experienced, new, or novice martial artist. Great work!!!! We love the coaches, and Julian at the front desk is so great at remembering everyones names and helping you if you need anything or have a question. All four of our kids cant wait to get to class each day.

I traveled from out of state just to visit this legendary dojo or martial arts. Its like an incredible museum of combat sports. The training is unparalleled, the staff are all very kind, and the gym is always clean!

Dwyane Ludwig is very humble despite being a very well known Muay Thai instructor(Ive trained around and Ive met Best trainers who wouldnt card about you unless you could make them money). From the time I started, until current (4 years total) Ludwig Martial Arts Academy has been a big help in my Martial Arts Journey. The detail behind their drilling is one of a kind, and all of their coaches are always willing to help and are very informative. They have programs for All levels of Striking, and an awesome children’s program. I most definitely would not be the athlete I am today, with out the help of head Coach/Sensei Duane Bang Ludwig. I’ve been coming here for a little over a month and it’s hands down my favorite money to spend every month. Sensei Ludwig, Sam, and PJ are all insightful and brilliant in their own way with how they coach and cue. I pick up beautiful subtleties from how they articulate and demonstrate. Julian behind the front desk is very welcoming, attentive, and on the ball about all things LMA.Coming from boxing, the Dutch style partner work is something I didn’t know I was missing. I love the interaction, and also the insights I can get from long(er) time students. My fiancé is gonna start coming soon because she sees how I used to be really stressed and tense with my training and striking, but here, all my movement has had to change, and she wants that for herself, too. 1000/10 recommend. This place brings me joy as much as it levels up my ability to perform, and I’ve never had that at a martial arts gym of any kind previously.

Ludwig Martial Arts is a great place for anyone looking to start and/or continue there martial arts training. Sensei Ludwig’s Bang Muay Thai classes are the highest level of instruction available anywhere. There’s also a great BJJ program as well as a kids program combining both martial arts into a well rounded look at self defense for children. Classes are available six days a week and are open to all skill levels and the coaches in the classes are all very knowledgeable and willing to help anyone get started.

Came out to Colorado and had to stop by this gym. Amazing atmosphere, everyone was super chill ans welcoming. Classes ran at a great pace but coach Ludwig and Tony found the time to help out with corrections and details. For anyone serious about MMA/Striking or even self defense, this is the place to go.

I dropped in for a class while in town and it was great. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. 30 minute class and I almost passed out from the work it was great. Highly recommend.

We have been very pleased with our experience here over the last year. Not only are the coaches very knowledgeable and patient with the kids, the owners are very kind to allow siblings to play in another space in the gym while their brother or sister is in class. They are always doing special things to celebrate holidays and the start/end of school. We will never go anywhere else!

To be frank, to call this place a gym wouldnt be doing it any justice. To me, its more of a temple. What separates this place from most martial arts gyms is the dedicated coaches, their focus on technique and the students that regularly attend class. Its easy to see that each one of them is passionate about what they do. Their willingness to lend a helping hand to struggling students is likely the best attribute of this gym. I train at an affiliate gym in North Alabama, and have come here a few times for seminars or just to train. From the first time I walked through the doors every staff member and gym student met me with the best attitude and made me feel very welcome. This is the best of the best. From absolute beginner to the most elite professional fighter, all levels train here. It’s nice to have a bit of southern hospitality when you’re away from home. They make you feel at ease and the ego’s are checked at the door.

Duane is a world class instructor with such an extensive background in Mixed Martial Arts. Not to mention the system hes put together is second to none. Highly recommend learning from the master himself if you have the chance either in person or online.

I have been teaching martial arts since 1996 and teaching Thai Kick Boxing since 2003. This is the school I attend as a student to become a better martial artist, coach, and teacher. Bang Muay Thai is one of the most technically advanced striking martial arts on the planet while still being inviting and welcoming to new students. You do not need to be a pro fighter to train here even though plenty do. See you on the mats!

This place is awesome! My son started training there in October 3rd 2017 and he’s been training there since. He loves it the coaches are awesome and patient with the kids. It looked so much fun that I had to try it for myself. I was so nervous because I had no experience, but everyone was so helpful and patient with me. I recommend it.

Ive only been to a couple of classes, but it has already been more fun and engaging than anything Ive done for fitness in a long time. My last experience with starting as a newbie in a martial art was offputting as the instructors and students were very cliquey, so the open and welcoming environment here has been a refreshing change. Both instructors and advanced students here are accessible for assistance and clarification because they genuinely want you to make progress. Im having a blast so far, and Ill definitely keep coming back!

My daughter and son started here in July 2017 and after seeing how great their experience was, I joined. We often forget that we’re training with a World Class Coach, Duane Ludwig because he’s very down to earth, friendly, and interested in all the people in his gym. He brings other coaches in and offers seminars to help everyone improve their skills, no where else have I seen someone truly invested in all his students’ success! More than just a marital arts gym! Me and my 12 yr old daughter train here and the atmosphere is family friendly. They want to create a community, more than just make people sweat. For example, they are having a kids night out free for members! Also, having a kids summer week long camp!

I’m having such an amazing time learning here! It was a little intimidating initially as I had no prior experience, but everyone is willing to help you learn and grow no matter what level you are. Sensei Duane is super encouraging and supportive at all the questions I have and all of my classmates are willing to slow down and go at my pace even when they are much more advanced in experience. From the staff to peers and coaches, the environment is super welcoming and warm and truly fosters a place where you not only learn how to be a strong martial artist, but use that discipline and respect outside of the facility too. Sincerely the best investment I’ve made!

If you want to learn proven fighting techniques, learn from proven fighters. Sensei Ludwig has taken decades of skill and technique and produced an amazing training system for fighting. Fantastic atmosphere and a great place to train. As somebody who hasn’t had any martial arts experience in 15 years, everybody has been fantastic in working with me to bring me up to speed.I’m definitely a work in progress, but I trust that the coaches will help get me to where I want to be so long as I keep showing up.

Came for one class as an out of town work out. Great facilities, and very friendly coaches. Every student was super nice to me and treated me like I was part of the gym for a long time. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely go back.
