Amazing place! I was looking for a kickboxing gym for my daughter when I found FuseBox and what I found was so much more. The whole family now attends classes now. It is a great atmosphere to learn. Coach Sully does an excellent job of meeting people where they are at and advancing them to where they want to go. Really could not ask for more. Highly recommend for kids, teens and adults.

Great kids team environment! My 4yr old is leaning discipline, respect, and working with others. Sensei Sullivan has been fantastic with my son and I look forward to having my kid learn more. My son is always excited to go back everyday. I trained with Sambo 1 a few years back and very excited to move to the area so I can continue my training as well. Great place to train and a tight team environment. If you’re looking for a place to train with no stress you will find it here.

Amazing place to train. You get it all and Coach Sully is the best. The one thing that made this place stand out above the rest of the places to train was that it was a gym for you. There are scheduled times for classes but if you need a different time, he makes it possible. The only reason I dont go there is due to living so far away. If I could move this gym to me (or make time for the commute with work), I wouldnt go anywhere else. Great atmosphere and amazing people. Locker rooms are spacious and you can actually feel comfortable leaving your stuff there and make it feel like a second home. Highly recommend this gym over any other.

Awesome. Great staff, well knowledgeable and professional. One of the few if not only place in Colorado who offers Combat Sambo. If you dont know what that is Google it. Just think of Alex Taktarov one of the first UFC champions. This is not your wanna be academy as others Ive been at.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable in many different martial arts. While I was a police officer, Mike introduced me to Sambo which I fell in love with. Previously I had competed in Thai and MMA matches, and trained out of different gyms, but Mike opened my eyes to the vast array of arts I was missing. I highly recommend to anyone looking for self defense or competition training.

Great place to train! My kids and I trained there for a few years and plan to return soon. Coach Mike is a great teacher and helps you not only learn but also understand everything.Theres a very family oriented aspect to the school and every one is great and treats you with acceptance and kindness.I was really out of shape when I started and after a year I had lost 45 pounds and won my first kick boxing tournament. Training with coach Mike and the rest of the Fuseboxe family was an amazing experience and I will return to training soon.

I love this place. Very professional, its like a family there. Everybody helps everybody out, no judging or looking down on anyone. You learn a lot of self control and respect. I lost a lot of weight training with Mike Sullivan, my son is still training to fight with him and has learned so much. I recommend it to everyone at any age, no matter what goal you have. From weight loss, self defense, training or competition. You wont regret in joining this awesome family!

Love this place, love the environment, it truly is for all levels. I came in knowing nothing and walked out a pro Muay Thai fighter. Its for more than just competing, self defense, cardio, grappling the list is long. Its definitely worth stopping in, youll get a feeling of safety and family right away, something that other gyms of this nature lack in a huge way.

Fusboxe has so many options in mixed martial arts. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the comraderie between the members. They also include anyone new and readily introduce themselves. Derek runs the Muay Thai program, and having someone that keeps himself up to date in technique and fighting, is what makes him stand out. I wish I lived closer!

FusBoxe is an awesome place to not only train, but hang out in because of the great people and environment. I trained at Fusboxe all through highschool, and found a mentor through the process. And through moving around to different gyms while in college, Fusboxe has been my favorite gym. I wish I didnt move so far from it! Also, I was pretty successful in the grappling tournaments I competed in, due to the great training partners and structure of the gym.

If you are interested in martial arts and self defense while living in Westminster area Fusboxe is the place to train. I drive over 30 miles to train under Coach Mike Sullivan. In my honest opinion if someone lives in Denver and doesnt at least try out the system of Martial Arts happening at Fusboxe they are making an extremely poor choice.I am glad to have trained there and look forward to more learning at Fusboxe. Its all things fitness and martial arts under one roof.

This place has been a second home of mine since I was 13 years old. I cant begin to explain how much I have learned from Michael Sullivan and the team at Fusboxe over the last 13 years. No pun intended, this gym packs a punch. You’ll get diverse techniques from all types of combat sports with both sport and real life applications. On top of learning all types of combat sports, coach Sullivan takes strength training and conditions just as seriously. So in terms of “amenities” of what you’ll have access to here, it doesn’t get much better than this. What sets this gym apart from the thousands of other martial arts gyms? The people and family you become part of here. Like I said, I’ve been part of this family since I was 13 years old and I wouldn’t be who I am without this gym. I’ve become an expert in many aspects of combat sports but I’ve also become a better person because of Fusboxe.

If you are looking for a gym to start out or you need a gym and have experience this is the place. I started with little knowledge in martial arts. With the help of sully I competed in my first BJJ tournament Learned how to Olympic lift and how to defend my self if someone had a knife or a street fight. This gym is more like family than anything. From going out to team dinners to watch the fights and just going to the fights to support one of our own. This isn’t a gym where you have to worry about people judging you or not helping you because they are better than you. Every one is there to grow together. CHECK THS PLACE OUT!!

Coach Sullivan is one of the best. His knowledge and mastery of a variety of combat tested martial arts was earned on the mat, and in battle. No BS defense is what he offers with a skill set developed over decades of application in the ring and on the street. This is a coach that can whoop ass with gloves or on the ground while being able to take a step back and explain the ‘how’ to the slowest and most uncoordinated students (I know...).What you will find at FusBoxe:Coaches that win in their sportCoaches that practice what they preach in an environment that fosters respect and disciplineClass structure that emphasizes functional movement, fitness, and fun-no fat black belts instructing you in sloppily performed techniques-no cult of personality or mind games so prevalent in the industryI knew how to fight when I started here. This is where I learned to lift. This is where I learned move. This is where I learned to end a fight.

My experience training at the gym, learning from Coach Sulli, and building friendships with other athletes has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. And in so many ways other than the obvious physical benefits. As my career as a fighter progressed, I remember telling Coach Sulli that, even more than I wanted to learn to fight like him, I wanted to learn how to speak like him. Im honored to say that both goals have come to pass to some extent. Today, in my professional business career, the personal confidence and speaking skills I learned from Coach Sulli have been by far the best investment Ive ever made in myself.

Fusboxe is an amazing place to train! Ive been involved in the Colorado MMA, BJJ, and Sambo community for many many years. Ive trained at many dozens of gyms in Colorado as well as across the country and I have to say the Fusboxe and the head coach Michael Sullivan are very near the top of any list. Fusboxe uses an integrated approach to training where they incorporate only the functionally uselful techniques from over a dozen martial fighting styles from across the globe. Sully has really dedicated his life and his efforts to providing one of the most effective and most complete martial arts and ftness programs the world has to offer. Check them out!!

I came to Fusboxe for training in hand-to-hand combat, searching to improve my coordination beyond that of a drunk orangutan and stave off mortality andmorbidity caused by an attack from another weaponless human. I found acommunity of people invested in defense, offense, and fitness all gaining ground together. Coach Sullivan, the head honcho what in charge meets each student on their level and works through the way they learn to assimilate angles, leverage, and movements, whether striking or grappling, into an understandable and reproducible style of fighting that retains effectiveness in and out of the gym. Coach Andy works predominantly with Brazilian jujitsu teaching classes for children and adults. He instructs the whole group in three to four techniques and follows with time for us to partner and roll. In and out of formal classes, the students teach one another either by repetition of things learned or simply engaging a companion for striking or rolling for position and submission. Friendships and entertaining conversation run rampant in the place. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, get in better shape, learn to defend yourself, or become a professional fighter you can achieve that here at Fusboxe.

This is a fantastic gym for people of all fitness and skill levels. Everyone from pro fighters to busy moms can get a workout suited for their needs while developing practical self-defense and/or sport combat skills. The B.O.A. (Body of Armor) program combines strength training, endurance, and fundamental martial arts (Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, Boxing, and submission grappling). Its like crossfit, but with added olympic lifting and combat technique. Ive personally lost weight and gained muscle & flexibility. I highly recommend giving it a try.
