Its true, I love Kickboxing! This gym is awesome. The classes are fun and challenging, and Draco (instructor) pushes you hard! All the members here are kind and it really feels like a family. This is the strongest Ive ever felt in my life, and its thanks to ILKB! The music is also always on point, and classes fly by and are really fun. 10/10 would recommend!

I signed up for their five class promo, and I decided not to become a member.Pros: They’re a new location, so the equipment is in awesome shape and everything is super clean. The instructors are knowledgeable and it seems pretty well run.Cons: It’s pricier than my old kickboxing place, and they don’t have a month to month option. The combos are repetitive and simple - I like the variety of doing different combos every class, and each class I noticed several combos that we had already done. By the end of my trial, I was sweaty, but bored. I also wish the schedule had instructors listed on it, or had classes geared towards different things like sparring.This isn’t a bad gym by any means, but it wasn’t amazing enough to justify the price for me. I’d recommend doing their full trial - They really want you to sign up after the first class (and offer to waive some arbitrary fees if you do) but I was happy I waited to see if it was a good fit.

We are a family at team Westy! Ive been going to classes for 6 months now and love it: the people, the coaches, and the bag punching. They really focus on the mental motivation and working on your technique rather than just a workout class. Yes they do have limited schedules but every class is different. Sometimes theres a race, sometimes it burpee day, its always something different. There are partner rounds but not true sparring, and they challenge you to go hard. If youre thinking about it, try it and see how good you feel afterwards and youll know why we love kickboxing. (Plus, this location is the only ilkb with a giant ceiling fan that makes your sweat feel so good!)
