I had my elementary schooler goto summer camp at Joanne Browne. Of all the camps my kid attended this summer, this was the best due to below reasons- extremely good covid precautions- Great value for the money- Super fun that I had to enroll my kid subsequent week too- counselor to kid ratio is super good. They did not overload, perfect ratio- very nominally pricedMy kid was sad that camp got done. They also spend quite an amount on craft, pictures and supplies for the camp activity.Best bang for the buck, super fun and super safe!

Both of my children have danced here for over 6 years. It has been a wonderful place for our family. The quality of dance instruction as well as the personal connections have been a huge positive part of their teenage years. Joanne cares about the kids and wants them to enjoy dance. It’s been a safe place for my kids to learn and improve, and to be part of a bigger family.

My mother put me in this studio when i was 12 and it was the best thing she could have ever done for me. This studio brought me out of my shell and made me feel so welcomed within the first year of my dance career. I always wished my mom put me in when I was younger and i highly recommend to put your kids in at the earliest age you can! Also, Joanne is amazing 🥰

Joanne Brown Dancers is the best studio in the Bay Area. I have been dancing myself with Joanne since I was 3, both of my daughters have been dancing with Joanne since they were 2. Both of my daughters were very shy and had a hard time making friends. Now both of my teens are outgoing and make friends where ever they go. They love to dance and we all love the family feeling we get at the studio. Joanne is always communicating with us and letting us know what is going on, I greatly appreciate all that Joanne has done for us.

Very welcoming, supporting, fun loving dance studio. As well as very informative, Joanne makes sure all her studio family is up to date with everything going on, especially during this pandemic she kept everyone updated with information needed to help make this a clean and comfortable space upon reopening. A great dance studio overall.

My family joined the JBD family over 5 years ago and we are still dancing with the studio to this day. Both of my kids experienced the recreational classes and the competition team. Joanne is the owner and she cares deeply about her dancers and families. She makes sure they all have fun and checks attitudes at the door in a respectful, dignified manner. She models professionalism for her team of choreographers and dancers. Joanne has been making sure families stay connected and safe during the pandemic because she understands the need for children to maintain connection. Thanks JBD for all you do for families and the greater artistic and performance community!

My two daughters have danced with Joanne Brown dancers for many years. The experience was very positive. Joanne creates an atmosphere of Family combined with expert teaching.

I am so glad they have re-opened. My daughter and nieces has been attending JBD for years now and I am more than pleased with the instructors. They are hands on and their teaching methods allow the students to learn dance in a fun way which allows them to flourish. I highly recommend JBD to parents out there who are looking for a dance studio. 👍🏽

My daughter being part of the Joanne Brown Dancers has been the BEST thing for her! Weve been with the studio for five years, going into our sixth year now, and shes learned so much from Joanne & her dance staff, and such a positive environment. My daughter has really grown as a dancer since shes been here, we wouldnt go anywhere else!
