Program is not long enough to fit enough learning into the school day, and more dependent on teaching yourself on your own time. Just be aware and thorough when talking about your programs workload to admissions. The instructor has been great, and answers anything Ive ever asked, just wish there was more time to get in depth over everything. They use a program called CDX that is more of a distraction than a learning tool. It all feels very rushed for $24,000.

Dont bother wasting your time with OTC. They are clearly all about marketing. This school is also extremely expensive for very little education. Class sizes are very large and instructors tend to have a hard time teaching. Do yourself a favor and run while you can! This school is just a trap.

My experience at O.T.C. has been a blessing. I am learning a skill to take care of myself! but its more than that. This school teaches you a career skill but it also teaches life skills. I am a better woman, mother, daughter and friend because of this school.i was a hot mess before i came to this school....now im a message of hope and change. ANY CLASS THAT BRAD TERRY TEACHES IS WORTH TAKING!!!!

My husband attends OTC for HVAC-R. He is 3 months into the evening class. His teacher is a senior tech, knowledgeable, and seems passionate about teaching. The teacher, in his position, could probably make double what he makes teaching which tells you something. The teacher is currently fighting for the students rights to better equipment, though it could very well get him fired. The director - and whoever else responsible- is reluctant to fund for equipment that is necessary to prepare them for residential and commercial jobs. For example, my husband told me they have only 2 units to work on, in a class of 20 people. No one should pay 24k + for education to not be prepared for their career. They MAY or may not be getting new equipment, but if they do, I fear it will be after my husband has graduated, which would be unfair because that is money we paid for equipment he never received. I warn you to ask as many questions as possible as to the quality of your education concerning the range equipment to work with and how experienced your professor is... considering if they fire and replace the current teacher

My former employee has had groups of employees take classes at OTC and it was always a good experience, the staff is always friendly, and the place is well taken care of from clean parking lots to super clean inside. I have only taken a few classes here.

Went for Automotive, learned about three things I didnt already know before. Lessons are random and scattered. You get no certifications from going here and you can get started in the automotive field with or without going to school, youll start out lowest and work your way up. Literally pointless.
