There are just not enough words to describe how happy I am with this school. The principal, Jennifer Rothlein, is the best there is. She does an incredible job leading the administration, teachers and staff to give the students the absolute best educational experience there is. The dedication from these teachers is everything a parent could ask for.

For a first-time mom leaving her kiddo, Ive been very impressed. While transitioning wasnt perfectly easy for my kiddo, he was loved and supported the entire time. His teacher is fantastic, loves him dearly, and hes learned so much in a few short months of being there.

Applied for childcare for both my children, did the walkthrough and finished all paperwork. Was told they have spots for them and would call me in a week. Never called after a week so I called to check and they said they would call me back in the afternoon and that spots are filling up. So needless to say after almost 4 weeks still have heard nothing so was a total waste of time. Cant even complete the paperwork they are supposed to or even call you back.

Wonderful facility and staff. I have now sent both my children to this KinderCare. My daughter is in the infant room with the most amazing teachers, Jamie and Carol! They are fantastic with the little ones. When I drop my daughter off I know she is going to be well taken care of! All the staff is very friendly and the app you use for your children’s reports is great! I love getting pictures of my daughter during the day. Thanks KinderCare for taking great care of all the kids.

My (now) 6.5 month old boy has been going here since he was 12 weeks old. Ms. Jami and Ms. Desiree in the baby room were great! And we now love Ms. Devon and Ms. Stacey in the bigger baby room as well! So sweet and our little man just smiles ear-to-ear every time he sees them! Now, full disclosure- we have arrived when hes had a different pacifier than his own in his mouth but when (politely) questioned, they just said that he wasnt taking his own pacifier very well so they used an extra that they had at the facility to see if he preferred that one (which apparently he did). Hes not much of a pacifier guy in general so I was glad they did some troubleshooting of their own to help soothe him when hes not being held.Other than that, we set out a schedule for him and theyve been maintaining it well. In fact, weve changed things a few times to account for the (no-tears) sleep training we are doing at home, and theyve taken it in stride, which is so appreciated. Also, one of the hardest things with babies (which I realize cant always be super well controlled) is when they get sick all the time RIGHT after mom returns to work from maternity leave. My little one has only been sick a couple of times since birth (a far cry from his older brother) and that has been sooo helpful! All in all, we would recommend this place to our friends. It is expensive (as is most all infant care), but its also clean, friendly, secure and school-spirited. Ive never worried about our little one and you cant put a price on safety. We also love the office staff (Heather and Ronda) and thats a huge bonus too!

The Kindercare at SouthMingo location was absolutely wonderful. My child has Down Syndrome, and the thought at first of putting him in childcare was very scary for me. The age at which I placed him was 18 months old. He was non-verbal, couldn’t walk yet, couldn’t really crawl yet. We placed him in a class younger than his age group, and the teachers gave me feed back on his progress weekly, sometimes more often. He was able to learn from other children and eventually catch up with his own age group. All the teachers were aware of his abilities and included him in all activities of the other children. (Did not exclude). He was loved on by all staff members, everyone there knew Nate, and he knew them as well. If I were to have another child, I would not hesitate to place him there. We love them and miss them dearly.

We had to unexpectedly move our 3 children to this daycare at the beginning of this year. While this was not originally our first choice we have been pleased with the care our children receive. I can tell all the teachers genuinely care for what they do and my children seem to enjoy their time there. The only issue I have is that I do not know what room I need to pick up my children on any given day. I understand they need to consolidate classes at the end of the day to release teachers that are no longer needed and they do so while staying within ratio guidelines but it gets to be hectic at times going to 2 or 3 different rooms to find each of my children and their jackets and their papers. If that is the worst thing I encounter then I consider myself lucky! The staff is always so friendly and great with my children.

We lived in Tulsa for 6 months, kidercare helped our son to feel home, he learned English and he got a lot of confidence on him self. I loved the teachers and the way they would interact with the kids. We felt he was safe and having fun in a learning environment.

Out daughter went there as a toddler and loved it. She just completed pre-K in Jenks and the Jenks summer program was full so we enrolled her back at KinderCare for the summer and its been great for her. Shes made new friends and reconnected with staff and friends she knew before. Weve had a great experience.

This is a horrible place to bring your infant! We pulled ours after 6 days. Nearly every day was a disaster. They do not follow instructions for care of your child, nor do they use the child care products you provided and requested to be used. My wife popped in a few times during her lunch hour and observed some horrific things. 1. twice he had a pacifier in his mouth that was not his. 2. a worker picked up a pacifier off the floor and put it right back into the babys mouth. 3. When workers are overwhelmed, they feed 2 to 3 babies at once while they are in there boppys on the floor(this is a direct violation of state DHS policy that states that anything child under 6 months must be held while feeding). They dont appear to burp the babies well, if any at all... Twice in 6 days our son projectile vomited up his formula all over himself, the car seat, my wife etc when she arrived to pick him up after he was supposedly burped. He never does this at home! Both times were 1.25 to nearly 2 hours after he was fed. The diaper ointment we provided was only used once in 6 days. Only about half of the bottled water that should have been used for the amount of formula he was Fed was actually used. Several days we found him in the same cloths we dropped him off in which were his sleeping cloths. Sleep sacks were provided as requested but only used 2 or 3 times in 6 days. We urge you to do your homework on kinder are and hopefully choose a different facility for your child. This account is completely factual as observed and we wish you luck in finding a quality place.

My 4 month old attends KinderCare and we have had nothing but great experiences so far! Stacey and Devon are great with my sweet girl and I don’t have to worry while I’m away during the day. They are very good with making sure she has her specific toys and binky when needed for comfort. My work schedule is changing each month and they are very understanding and don’t mind! With a changing schedule it sometimes means that different people come pick her up for me at certain times and each time this has happened the front office has been very diligent in making sure that they were listed in her paperwork and asked for identification; I’m very thankful for that. Almost everytime I have came into the KinderCare facility I have been greeted and always feel welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the KinderCare on South Mingo to any of my friends with little ones!

THEY STEAL YOUR MONEYMy kids went there 2 days and I pulled them out. Rhonda said i would receive a refund because I paid $380.00 for field trips and my kids were not there long enough to go on any. 6 weeks later still no refund and now everytime I call they say Rhonda is out for the week...hmm. I wonder whose money she is vacationing on or if she is there and just refusing to speak with me now.

Do not send your kids here. Current director was at a daycare on memorial (which we send our kids to fulltime) and she disappeared with a certain teacher through out the day (new girlfriend even though she was married?) and was not a director. Our son busted his head open and she had no empathy or anything to tell us. Very rude.

My child has been going here for a year and a half, and our family loves it. The teachers all know him by name in every room. One of the teachers even got him a little batman car for his birthday a couple weeks ago. It feels like Im dropping him off with some long lost extended family. My son adores every person in that building and comes home talking about his teachers, friends, art projects, the food that he eats, singing songs he learned that day, and wanting to show us new games he plays. He is counting (in Spanish and English), learning the letters of the alphabet, and even started writing letters in his name when he was just 2. He started potty training with his teachers in the 2 year old room, and all Ive had to do is just buy some pull-ups and keep it going at home. This week he starts in a dance class on site during the day. Im paying a little extra to the company that provides that class, and I am so happy to do it. He loves dancing and signing. Because of this partnership they have formed with another community service provider, I dont have to race around frantically one night a week to get him to a lesson across town, try to get everyone fed, do laundry and whatever other chores, and get home in time for night time routines. I didnt even have to do any research. I just showed up one day, saw a sign, and handed them a check. I love that they set up that opportunity for their families. I cant wait to see their adorable little performance in a few months. Im inviting EVERYONE. lolKinderCare also has fun theme dress up spirit weeks every so often that Ive seen the kids really enjoy. (Today was pajama day, and my son was just dumbfounded that he could wear jammies to school. We talked about it all weekend leading up to the day to prepare, because he thought I was just flat wrong. No, we wear jammies at night night time, and shirts to school, Momma.) We participated last year in a Halloween festival night that was just adorable as well. Im hoping theyre planning on doing that again, because it was great fun, and a wonderful opportunity to chat with other parents that I dont usually see due to our different pickup/drop off times.I cant imagine going anywhere else. I feel so fortunate that they are both in my limited price range and right on my way to work.

Two years ago when I was looking for childcare for my firstborn, I toured a lot of places. I was determined to find someplace where my little girl would be engaged in growing and exploring while I was at work and not merely waiting for me to get home. Now I have two children at Southmingo Kindercare and they are both growing and developing by leaps and bounds. My younger aged two year old counts to ten (and knows some of her numbers in Spanish), recites most of her alphabet, knows her colors, and even has a pretty good understanding of one to one correspondence when counting. During her week at kindercare in addition to opportunities for play she participates in a phonics class, a music class, and a cooking class. She is read to, sings songs, does art projects and explores books on her own each day. My 7 month old has opportunities to explore colors, textures, sounds, and shapes while she works on reaching her developmental milestones through play. The children in her class have special enhancement plans with activities for each child to help them grow based upon their current development levels. But more important than all of these things my kids are safe and loved. The teachers at this kindercare make not only my child, but all children, feel loved and special every single day. Both of my kids seem to truly love their teachers ( as witnessed in my 7 month old by the special smiles for her teachers) and my two year old talks about her teachers and friends everyday. Sending my kids to South Mingo Kindercare has been one of the best investments I have ever made for their behalf. As a side note, I also love that this Kindercare is so breastmilk and breastfeeding friendly. There are refrigerators in every classroom to store breastmilk and separate bottle warmers for breast milk to heat it to the appropriate temperature. I have always been invited to stop by and nurse my baby in one of the rocking chairs at any time. I nursed my first child for around 18 months and this kindercare was so supportive and gave her the sippy cups of breastmilk I made for her even as a toddler. They even invited me to send some extra frozen milk to keep there in the event it was needed. That is yet another thing that I love about this Kindercare. Finding a childcare center that is this friendly and supportive to breast feeding moms who choose to return to work is an absolute gem!

Lack of communication and disclosure of pricing was very discouraging. This site no longer offers hourly rates or part-time rates which is also a negative for working parents who do not need the full day. Really disappointed with the change in management and rates.
