Highly recommend this school. The staff and the owner is very friendly. The school rental rates are the most competitive in the area. Great variety of aircrafts to rent from. All the way from 310HP Bonanza to Aerobatic Citrabia and Piper Warrior, Arrow, Seneca & Cessnas. The most friendly polite and caring environment I have ever seen in a flight school. They are not money hungry like other schools. I got my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI & CFII) and Flight Instructor Instrument from here. All the instructors are highly experienced and knowledgeable who promote positive flying experience. Never had a single negative experience here nor will you. Trust me this is the place you would want to train in to get all your pilot ratings. Whether it’s for career or just flying as hobby.

Wow, what an amazing Discovery flight!! All staff are friendly & helpful especially out instructor pilot Eduardo Rocha!! He made sure we were comfortable & at ease especially with my son who was sitting in the front with him and would actually be the one taking lessons. I highly recommend The Flight School Inc!

I was one of those who began flying back in my college days and never finished. I had numerous interruptions through out the years due to family and kids...whom always come first. I’ve been through several flight schools and eventually landed with Flight School Inc, out of Weiser, then they closed the airport down for sell of the property. I ended up at Houston Executive In Katy...real nice airport, but a little out of the way. I reached the point where I was signed off for the PPL Check Ride and Unfortunately due to my job of being a first responder and this COVID bit....I missed out, and had to cancel two days before I was scheduled to take it. I have to say, no matter the duration or the time missed, I came back in and this time at KDWH, I was treated the same as if I only missed a day instead of months. The instructors are all good natured, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Thanks to all the variety of instructors I met, I obtained my PP Certificate on a most memorable day.....September 11th. With all that said, I was very satisfied and I highly recommend Flight School Inc. for your training.

I got my certified flight instructor - instrument add on here. Top notch instruction. I’ve flown at 3 different flight schools in the same airport through out the years and the flight school inc is far superior in terms of instructor experience, quality of planes, and affordability. 10/10 would recommend to anyone whether you are looking to do this as a career or as a hobby.

TFS is an excellent flight school with a variety of aircraft available. I studied for my private pilot license here, and I found their instructors knowledgeable, their program comprehensive, and their rates to be imminently affordable.

We went for a discovery flight and the instructor was excellent. She explained everything really well and was very helpful even after the session. My wife got to fly the plane and me and my three yeaar old sat in the back for no extra cost. Highly recommend it.

Excellent flight school. I received all my training here and now have my private certificate and instrument rating. I have heard horror stories about people paying for tons of “Ground” and getting nickel and dimed at other schools. I had no issues with that. When I need any help they are always available.

I highly recommend this flight school for flight instruction OR for a discovery flight (introductory flight). Perfect runway to master crosswind landings! Lots of airplanes and instructors to choose from. All you need is good weather and time to fly!

Got my PPL, IR, CPL, CFI, CFII, and MEI at this school. You cannot beat the quality and affordability of instruction at this school. Very honest instructors who will not take advantage of your wallet like most part 141 schools. Just be prepared to do some self-studying.

Over 2 years ago, we signed up for a sight seeing tour at The Flight School, but on arrival decided instead to let our son (who was only 10 at the time) take a Discovery Flight alone with an instructor. Since that time, he continues to take lessons and some refresher flights just to keep his skills sharp as he meets age requirements for certain training and progression. The staff and instructors at The Flight School are, in the simplest sense, just a great bunch of folks who certainly want to provide the best instruction, but at the same time are very good at working at a pace that makes the student comfortable and confident (they are not running a crank as many people through the mill as we can, as quick as we can type of training school that I have experienced at other locations). The instructors are all very friendly, approachable, and to date all have been very good at working with our young son, and really engaging him and giving him responsibilities in his progress in the same way they would instruct an adult. This gets him motivated and helps him appreciate the responsibility he is taking on, which is a big deal for a young lad. So, for those who have pre-teens or teenagers who are interested in taking a flight or learning to fly, Id certainly recommend The Flight School as a good, professional and comfortable place to learn.

Hi, Im Tom, Im using my wifes account to post this.Well my wife purchased a Groupon discount with their Google promotions, I have to say it was the best earthly experience I could have ever enjoyed! I was surprised to receive the plethora of hands on experience and training right away! I can now say I have flown a plane, taken off a plane, and can understand the different instruments on the dash board. I am so pleased with the quality of flight instructors here, that I have decided to pursue my pilots license with The Flight School, Inc.. I highly recommend this program to anyone willing to learn and enjoy life.F.Y.I. driving is not the same anymore after being able to fly, it just doesnt have the freedom of the air!

We were introduced to The Flight School when we purchased a Groupon. My son and l flew enjoyed it so much that hes now taking lessons. Weve gotten to know and fly with at least 3 pilots and they are all very friendly and knowledgable. Even though my son is only 13, they are treating him like anyone else and as a result, hes progressing just like an adult at lesson #4. I get to sit in the back for no extra fee as long as we rent a 4 person plane. Another big plus is that they have a one time fee for their ground school which you can repeat as many times as you like!This has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them to others.

I am very disappointed and insulted. I scheduled a BFR. I explained I lost my log book in a recent move, Gary was very helpful abd said not to worry because i still had my actual license and current medical plus renters insurance and it is not required by the FAA. Then i received the day before my BFR and was told thst i would have to recreate my log book so that the instructors could verify my experience. Keep in mind i do not fly for a living. If i recreate my log book how is that any different than me saying i flew before? I am greatly disspointed as they seem to add unnecessary rules that may add more flight time, i.e. revenue to their pockets.

Airplanes are mediocre maintainence wise. New people always staffing the desk and they dont really know. Have to stay up on the staff regarding up to date GPS cards and maintaince issues. Some billing irregularities also. Only positive is that they always have an airplane available to use since they have alot.

I went to The Flight School for a 3 hour Discovery Flight and was disappointed by their attitude.First, I spend about an hour with CFI Attila, who was very friendly and enthusiastic, going through some Ground School basics. Great guy, kept it interesting.Then, however, I was introduced to CFI Casey who took me through simulator training and the actual flight. Casey did not want to go flying that day - it seemed like I was a bother to him. We rushed through the simulator training without much conversation or instruction. I was able to do 2 landings before he shut everything down. Then I got to sit and wait for about an hour until the plane was ready. Could have spent that time practicing some more!The actual flight was not any better. We rushed into the plane that had just landed from a previous group and were taxiing before I even put my seatbelt on. There was no introduction to the plane, what our flight plan was, or what we would be doing once airborne. Completely skipped over any safety inspections or procedures. The equipment itself was old. Paint peeling off the wings and fuselage; the only way to close the door was to slam it shut; my headset only worked on one ear, etc. As far as a Discovery Flight is concerned, I did not feel welcome.Im glad we made it back safely and I at least got to enjoy the view.

Very Poor Experience. These guys just want your money. Once you are inside the plane, they cut short on your air time saying that they allow only 20-30 mins for discovery flight. I was confirmed on phone when I booked the discovery flight that flying over downtown is included in Discovery flight but my Instructor said no, we can not go to downtown. Then je just flew me over nearby area which I didnt wanted. In the flight also, you never know when is he trying to teach you or when is he talking to the ground people over radio. Moreover, the ground instructions were also not very clear.I would advise people to stay away from this school. They dont deliver what they promise!!

The best place for flight lessons in houston!Staff is very friendly and easy going, can set you up and have you flying righ away as long as the houston weather holds up;Got my private and instrument rating here going for commercial and CFI;Runway is also great for training with the ocasional crosswinds

This place is a surefire candidate for the worst flight school in USA . TERRIBLE safety record ! . The real owner uses 2 guys as her front, because no insurance company in this country will insure her . At some point, there were only Indian students there . 2 of them crashed . from 2005-2012 there had been multiple accidents all resulting from bad maintenance . In one incident an aircraft landed into a house, killing 5 persons total . The CFI turnover is horrendous . One day the owner fired 20 instructors over a whim . Do not recommend this place at all to work for or rent airplanes from .
