Poor experience, I watch both my kids get spanked from workers on video I took them out immediately. But they go in the blind spots away from camara to mistreat YOUR CHILD. each time I wanted to speak to director but they would always say hes out of the office and to send him an email. Super friendly staff and very attentive teachers for our now toddler aged child. We started in the infants room and moved up when they started walking. The teachers are always so friendly at drop off and pick up and they even offer helpful suggestions to new parents. They seem to have a lot of experience with a variety of children and different issues that come up and they are happy to share their knowledge if you ask. Offer tips on food transitioning, diaper rash, napping scheduling and other things that they have more experience with than we do.Our little one loves going and is always so happy at drop-off and smiling at pick-up. The app is extra nice for us to look in on our little one during the day to see how they are doing and watch them having fun. Very glad we found this place and think its a great value. A little more expensive than some smaller daycares but certainly not the most expensive that we checked when we were searching.

Despite the past reviews, my son (5 1/2 years old) went here for about a year and he did not experience any harm or tell me of any abuse or mistreatment. When my son first started at KRK his teacher was Teresa and she was very sweet and my son loved her. He eventually moved to the GYM and he loved it. I like that most of the GYM teachers were young because they would actually play along with the kids outside sometimes and I really liked to see that. He loved the field trips, on campus splash pad, and playing over at the Shack. Tori and Renee are the sweetest! I like how they would address certain issues or concerns to me. Even if it was a mistake I may have made or my sons behavior for the day, I never felt attacked or felt any bias. The only reason we are no longer enrolled is because we moved out of the area. Please give them a try, do not let dishonest reviews dissuade you from enrolling your child!

I worked there for like 3 weeks and was let go because one of the worse behaved children there said I was speaking rudely to him- that’s fine because working there was one of the worse experiences I’ve had. Obviously they have several kids with behavioral issues there in which l, nor anyone else there (teacher wise) is trained to handle.I worked there for three weeks and although I had a chance to work In a better classroom with one of THE best teachers there (Ms. Martha) I decided to stay in the before and after school program so I could watch over my son who attended there. They had a curriculum that they DID not implement. All they did was keep the kids outside the WHOLE time and if they had to bring the kids inside they were basically confined to the little carpet in the room. They gave them water sure but after a while some kids weren’t allowed to drink any because the kids wouldn’t throw out their trash (the cup) when they were done. Also I should mention the three weeks I was there I never got to finger printed NOR trained. They were so in over their heads that they had no time to properly train me!! My son even told me on his own that he rather go to another after school program that he had once attended because said program did fun things unlike kids r kids. They don’t even implement homework time for the school aged kids. Ms. Renee tried her best to make the best of the school but she had no support what so ever.I was gonna take my son back there for ONE week and he would have been there for 30 mins just for that one week but as soon as I had a chance to think it over my heart was telling me NO NO NO. That’s how bad it was... I rather miss out on a job opportunity then let my son be there for 30 minutes!I’m pretty sure they are going to reply to this review and make up something about me to defend themselves ... and I’m sure they won’t back up ANY of these things I’m saying to them with facts...but i PROMISE you.... catch one of the teachers outside of the school and just ASK them about the place.... it’s a hot mess.IF miss Martha is there... your child is in PERFECT hands.... or if your babies are in the infant rooms... you’re good.... or even Miss Samantha’s room(if any of them are still there which I hope not because they deserve better)! Other than that that place has NO structure, POOR training, and the most of the children there behave SO SO poorly. I even had parents comment that they’ve never seen children act out that much!!! And yes the children’s behavior is not necessarily a reflection on the poor conditions of this child care facility however it’s something to keep in mind...I left there months ago but I just joined another child care program In the area and when I saw like 2 kids that I used to watch from kids r kids I knew they must have left due to the facility... I felt it in my heart to tell the truth about this place. They need to ship up!

I recently reviewed a video of one of your daycare workers aggressively yanking a child off the ground by the wrist and pulling him across the room to his cot, which could have hurt him!! Then picked another child up very roughly, slamming her to the ground on her stomach, and swatting her on the rear! I’m a teacher in a preschool and this is illegal! You can’t do this. I would sue the teacher that did this and the daycare if they do nothing about it! Thank goodness the cameras caught this woman in the act!! She needs to be banned from working with kids of any age!!! This is abuse/child maltreatment. I wouldn’t even rate it a 1 star!

I love this place and my grandkids love it to. The older ones want to make sure they will be coming anytime school is out. The staff is very pleasant and genuinely happy your kids are there. It is obvious that they love children. They are very patient and always willing to work with you. If you have a need or special situation the staff is always willing to help. I love how they send daily updates of the childrens day and let you know what lessons they work on and what was most important for the day. They make it easy to have unity and smooth transition from daycare to home and back. When you know what they are learning at school you can work on the same things at home and when we are working on something at home all we have to do is let the staff know and they will help with that as well. Management is easy to talk with and always readily available. The communication is great. The teachers really pay attention to your child and really get to know them. They have always been right on target when knowing the right time to advance or not advance a child because they really know the child and know what they are ready for or not ready for. They are very open and honest. You definitely feel like you are at home with family when you are here at Kids R Kids.

Kids R Kids is an amazing place that I feel primarily comfortable with the care of my children. There is no doubt that both my children are left in good hands. They have cameras in the classrooms which parents and anyone who the parent chooses to have access to. Which is an extra sense of comfort. You can view the footage through your phone or computer. Krk also has a curriculum in which all the classrooms follow in their daily schedule. The teachers are amazing! &The director goes above and beyond to do additional activities and events for the kiddos!!! Ecclesiastes 7:20  There is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and never sins.I myself have made mistakes and failed when it comes to being a daughter, mom, sister, wife, friend, teacher, and a mentor. We all will fail at some point in our life. Failing is a learning experience so we can do better next time. I am thankful during my journey of life I had the support to help move forward and turn it into a learning experience. As a adult I will continue to fail, but it is Gods Grace on how I will handle myself each time.Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.I will not take this time to slander the coworker or mom that was involved at Kids R Kids. I understand both sides as I am coming across as a Mother for the love and protection of your children and as a Assistant Director that truly knows her teacher of 5 years. It saddens me that we are influenced by todays society to quickly slander all parties without hearing straight from the source. It breaks my heart that we prey off of fame, likes/shares on facebook, google, and whatever else to get ATTENTION.Ephesians 4: 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.The comments that have been posted are just hurtful and misleading. I am not saying not to state the facts, but dont leave facts out as well. You can voice your opinion without being ugly towards one another. We need to raise or children knowing they have a voice but it is all on how you present it.Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.I pray for both parties for God to comfort, guide and strengthen their family during this hard time.

It amazes me that people (MOTHERS) are making excuses, defending the actions and blaming another mother for speaking up about what happened to her child!! Now while it may be true this lady may be nice and wonderful, her ACTIONS were INAPPROPRIATE as a daycare teacher!! Does not matter what happened before or after the video clip,it does not change the fact that she threw the baby down. Her knees, back, shoe being untied none of that excuses that she threw the baby down! Even if it was a mistake, mistakes that can injure any child is wrong! why are you defending that?? If she had thrown a puppy down, you would be all outraged, animal cruelty, boycotting, ready to have a rally, but this child was just a mistake. KRK gave you the information that they wanted you to know, did any of you speak to this babies mother and ask her what she was told? NOPE, you did not. Reviews and opinions are just that, but dont quote facts that you dont actually know anything about, and just throwing this babys name out here like she asked to be thrown down is crazy. If KRK felt so strongly that their employee was not negligent they would have defended her actions and held their position. But as you can see after investigation, she improperly handled a child in her classroom, and has been relieved of her duties, effective immediately their words. This was not done for FB likes or attention.. this was about awareness, this was about not allowing a child who was mistreated go unheard about. This was for that mother that was looking for daycare and considered this place. How dare you comment that the teacher was just a little rough! Because the next time a teacher is just a little rough, could be the time a child is seriously injured or kilt. Then all of you will be screaming why didnt you say something before. It is like you damned if you do, and you damned if you dont!

I can not say enough about kids r kids of champions! My baby loves coming here and they love having him. Both my baby and the employees light up when we walk through the door. Michael, Heather, Judy, Silvia, and everyone else are great. You can tell they aren’t taking care of the kids because it’s their job, but they do it because they see the kids as an extension of their own family. We moved to Conroe so we had to switch daycares, but when we had issues with the new place KRK were excited to have our baby as a drop in. They are friendly, loving, Flexible and very attentive. OMG! A parent just posted a video of a teacher slammed a baby on her belly and slapped her on the bottom. This is horrible. As a mother of a soon to be 2 year old I could not imagine her teachers treating her this way. This teacher should be brought up on charges and the entire organization should be reviewed because clearly they are not being screened or trained enough. I will be sharing this video to everyone I know. And the sad part is the director has yet to speak up about whats going on in her center.

To
Review №37

Unfortunately, this video being shared is very misleading and happens to be cropped at the right moment to make it seem as though the child was “spanked”. This is inaccurate and anyone in childcare would know that was a tap or pat to help the child to sleep. Had the entire video been shown, you would clearly see the teacher continue to gently pat the child to sleep. You don’t see the child cry and get up as one would expect if they were being physically harmed. Ms. Jonnie does suffer from knee and back pains and underestimated her weight when laying the child down which makes it look as though the child was “slammed” which is still an exaggeration. Anyone that has known Jonnie would know she would never and will never harm a child. My nephew is currently in her classroom. Without a doubt, I trust him in her care. False information is being reported to say that this incident is being overlooked and that staff is being dismissive or letting “abuse” occur. That is simply not the case and all proper protocol is being followed. It’s concerning to me that a parent would come to the school to express their concern yet leave their child there for another 5 1/2 hours if they truly felt unsafe. As a current employee and fellow coworker, my words are not biased, I am speaking as someone that knows Ms. Jonnies character and hopes to share the truth. It hurts to see Ms. Jonnie’s name and this center being slandered. These accusations are detrimental to her livelihood and the threats being made against her are disgusting and quite frankly hypocritical. People are trying to make a stance or case against abuse and violence, yet are threatening it at the same time. Accusations are being made that the employees gave “pushback” and did not respond to the mother. This is extremely false. The mother came to the center and did not once ask to go “comfort” her child as she stated. She asked that she be moved to another room. She was moved promptly while mom was in the building. The mother stated that she did not feel she should be fired, but that the situation should be looked into. The staff immediately addressed and began looking into the situation as well as made the steps to report to licensing. The mother then returned to work for hours after, returned with a cop, and again we were attentive to the situation as had been since the mother addressed her concerns. We were not negligent in handling this situation as has been falsely stated. The child’s family says that they blasted this teacher on social media in order to obtain “justice” for this child and in response to negligent handling of the situation, which again IS EXTREMELY FALSE. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and legitament concern, but to lie and act as though the mothers concerns were met with contempt is sickening.
