I absolutely love Alexander’s Academy and so do my kids! They’ve both been attending for over a year now and I honestly can’t even begin to say enough. The entire staff is so welcoming, attentive and the facility is always clean. I highly recommend them you won’t be disappointed.

I know a lot of people have their bones to pick with Alexanders, but take it from a kid who pretty much grew up there! Some of my happiest memories lies with Alexanders. I absolutely loved the staff, and I loved attending the summer program it was the best! Now yes, some of the kids can be a bit rude sometimes but thats just how kids are. Every daycare is going to have a group of kids like that there. Alexanders was like my second family! They took me to school, picked me up from school, and even helped me with my homework! I might even apply to work there who knows! Over all I just loved it!

Wow! Where do I start? I wouldn’t call this a daycare center, I cal it family! The care about each and every family, and go above and beyond to ensure the individual needs of your child are met. My daughter attended from the time she was 2 until she started kindergarten, and both of my boys have attended since they were infants (one of them is 4 now). Anytime someone is looking for a daycare for their child Alexander’s is the only place I will recommend. Love everyone there and so do my kiddos!!

I want to start with thanking the owners of this daycare and those who created this daycares model (family like feeling) that really differs from other daycares (colder approach) my son have been at prior. My family finally found love that my son needed. My son started daycare about 2 months ago at age of 20 months for the first time. The first daycare we put him at was expensive but very well advertised with strong curriculum and cameras and that is why we chose it. But he was crying very hard way for all 3 weeks hes been there and running away from everyone (seen on cameras). Also we did not see the curriculum advertised happening. Because of that we decided to switch the daycare. The second daycare was much nicer and even more expensive: my son did not cry, was adjusting well but..on one day teacher roughly mishandled him after he was 2 weeks out with cold and back into daycare (seen on cameras). We decided to take him out of that daycare immediately.Alexanders Academy is the third daycare we are really hoping my son to stay for long time. This daycare does not have cameras, I am also not aware of their curriculum but ...What is more important that our son is much loved and is developing already faster than ever. He comes home from daycare in a good mood and does not cry. It also warms my heart to know we will not be broke after paying the tuition: tuition is great! All people including the director Ms. Samantha, Ms. Paloma and sons teacher Ms. JoJo were extremely helpful and understanding of what my son was/is going through. There are no words to express how grateful we feel. The biggest thanks goes to the teacher Ms. JoJo who has very kind heart and my son loves Ms. JoJo and is not running away from her or crying. That means a lot at this very moment after what happened with him in the second daycare. My family appreciates all the love Alexanders Academy shows to my son and all kids. We are hoping to see him happy and blossoming in this daycare. I would definitely recommend this daycare to anyone who wants their kids to feel loved !!!Thank you,Saule.

My son was in this daycare about 1 year. When we joined, it was great. Teacher was really friendly and love kids. I still think she maybe the best teach ever my son could had. love her. Then my son turns to 5, he needed go to the higher level. That maybe the nightmare starts. In the beginning was ok, nothing bad at least. Then people resigned the work, my son end up with THE teacher. When i ask her question, she would turn and walk away. When my son asked for removing rock from his shoe she would say going back to your line without asking what wrong is. I also asked her to fill the form for elementary school since daycare assigned the smilier task to her. She didnt do it although she said she will. I gave her gift card, chocolate, just wish she can treat my son better. And i was wrong. When i think back, I still regret i let my son stay in that class for several months before I decide to move on. When you pick a daycare, talk to teacher carefully, catch the little signs. They are the one dealing with child every day, and they are the person can make you child miserable or happy.

Staff is very kind, the daycare smells nice and looks very homey. When I drop my children off everyone is smiling, waving and saying hello. My children are learning and having fun. The playgrounds are huge and gorgeous. They have veggie gardens and a butterfly garden that the kids help maintain. Its adorable! Some of there staff have been there a long time and you can tell they love their jobs. Wouldnt have my kids anywhere else.

I have lived next door to Alexander Academy (behind the daycare) for 1 yr now. My grandmother, “Sara Parten” actually opened it 60? Years ago. (As a “private school). I was her 1st grandchild, and not in “school.” My mom being in college, I was sent to a daycare.... I think was like 2 yrs old was my 1st memory.... The owners name was Mrs. sharp. I won’t go into detail. But when my granny actually believed the nightmare I’d been through.... She said never again.... and died 10 years ago helping EVERY child she could.... This daycare doesn’t even know that I hear and see A LOT of the playgrounds activities..... I just laugh at how little girls scream like they are being murdered!!!! But it’s just because they are having FUN!!! The teachers are so good with the kids!!! I thank GOD my granny did a good job protecting other kids from what I went through!!! Good job Alexander Acadamy!!!! I give 10 stars!!!!

My daughter has been at the Academy for two years. She loves the ladies who have taken care of her. She is excited about going to the school every day and especial loves the water days. She is very advanced in her education. She knows her numbers, her letters, and colors. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone knows you and your child on a first name base. The staff keeps you updated on monthly reminders and calendars of the events that will be taken place. I would recommend this school to everyone.

We were with a different daycare for the first 2 years and thought it was great until we started here. We LOVE our daycare. the ENTIRE staff at Alexander Academy is awesome from the front desk, to the kitchen to the classrooms.. OUTSTANDING. We especially love Ms. Fanci. She is so good with the kids. My babies run down the hallway to their class rooms everyday. My clingy 2 year old being so excited to spend the day here says a lot to me. Our 4 year old is already starting to read, write and spell and the activities are so great especially in the summer. I cant say enough great things about this facility.

Thirteen (13) years ago I contacted the Employee Assistance Are at University of Texas Health Science Center for recommendations on child care since our grandson had a mobility disability. Alexanders Academy was one of two recommendations and thirteen years later I want to continue to thank them for being there for our grandson who grew with them. They accommodated his needs to the fullest and were flexible with his particular needs. At the same time of teaching and being the best guardians. Eight years ago they started taking care of his sisters, one 8 now and the other 5. It has been the family care away from home that the kids receive here. Love, warmth and care.THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO EVERYDAY!!!!

I chose Alexanders Academy for my son after a recommendation from a trusted friend and an unannounced visit. Being a first-time mom, I was nervous about choosing someone to take care of my child. I am 100% confident that I made the right choice.I have had nothing but good experiences with all staff members. My son adores his teachers and has since he was 12 weeks old. He gets excited when we pull up and it is time to go inside. He has no fear of any of the staff and loves to tell them bye-bye every day. This tells me that they treat him with respect and love. The staff has always listened and complied with my requests, including during periods of illness and feeding issues. They have also made recommendations based on his developmental milestones. I truly believe they have his best interests at heart and want to see him grow and learn. There are age-appropriate activities starting from birth. My son has so much fun with the arts and crafts, playtime, reading time, educational time, and especially the special activities like picture with a pony and outdoor water activities. Alexanders Academy provides many more opportunities than I could possibly provide myself.I feel the weekly fees are very reasonable for the services that are provided. Can you find cheaper alternatives? Sure. But there is no way you can put a price on knowing that your child is safe, learning, growing, and most of all - loved. I am so very thankful for Alexanders Academy.

It is hard to leave my sons for 10-11 hours a day. However, as a parent who commutes to work it is unavoidable. We have been with Alexanders since my first son was born 3 years ago and have recently enrolled our newest addition. Although it is difficult to leave them each day it warms my heart and gives me comfort when my 3 year old cheerfully says, Hi Ms._______! to each teacher he sees as he bounces down the hallway; even more amazing each teacher that sees him is quick to say, Hi Logan!. With so many students it is clear to me that Alexanders still maintains a family oriented environment; as they are my sons 2nd family I am truly grateful for this.

Being new to the area I was very apprehensive in leaving my baby with just anyone. I visited many facilities in the Spring/ Woodlands area and found Alexanders Academy to be the best fit for me and my child. The atmosphere is that of a family home, it is not cold or unwelcoming. My daughter absolutely adores her teachers and the staff.

I researched a lot of day cares before choosing, I was super excited for Alexander’s academy and wanted to go to the 2920 location but they had a wait. So we choose to go to this location thinking it’d be just as good. Being new to the daycare thing when I choose this daycare I didn’t know what the standards were for daycare, until now that I have changed to a new daycare and know what standards should be. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because my LO loved going to daycare and the staff seemed friendly when I pick him up. After the first week i was asked to bring more diapers, i brought 50 and he only went 4 days that week...they are documenting they changed him 3 times. Okay, so I bring more diapers. Week 2 he catches hand foot&mouth(i get it theyre germ bugs) but also comes home with 2 bites on his arm that I was never notified about until I called the manager to ask her about it(she got back to me the next morning), she says there was a incident report it just wasnt given to me I didn’t now receive the incident report for 3 days later😠 so we continue to week 3 and I go in to put new clothes in his bucket of belongings his cup i brought him a week ago with apple juice is in the bucket undumped with nats swarming in his linens and clothes. His clothes smell disgusting because it had leaked into the bucket. I take it out and show it to the manager. Not once did she apologize but states well according to state policy we cannot dump it... So according to state policy you can’t dump the cup, but I’m sure it is against state policy to leave a furmated cup of juice in a bucket in the classroom. It is also against state policy to not notify a parent by the end of the day of a incident. In the last week my LO had two more bites and a big goose egg on his forehead. By the grace of god we made it 4 weeks at this daycare until I had the approval to move. It’s unfortunate that the daycare is being ran like this I met with the director and assistant director several times and never once were they apologetic. They only made excuses for the staff. Someone higher up really needs to be seeing what is going on daily.

This daycare is the best place to trust your kids too. We have four children two with special needs and we were having a problem finding a daycare that would accommodate them. The owner really went out of her way to make sure they were given a chance. She scheduled extra staff to help them transition. She said Our kids reminded her of why she got into this business, to help children. I cant express how happy we are with this daycare. They also provide three nutritious meals a day prepared by a cook! Not microwaved processed junk you can expect from other daycares. I work long hours and my kids spend most of their waking hours here and its just really a Godsend to know that theyre being well taken care of. Thank You So Much!

My son went to Alexanders Academy for about 5 yrs... I must say that over the years... They were great and were like family... My son is autistic and when he was first diagnosed, there werent any other daycares that would work with him and his disability... Theresa ( the daycare owner) was willing to work with my son and eventually he flourished! The teachers that worked with him loved and nurtured him genuinely... As he started going to Elementary School he had a real tough time every morning separating from me... But through all the temper tantrums and tears the teachers and Theresa never gave up on us... It was not until this year that I started to feel like the atmosphere was changing within the daycare... The teachers seemed a little less happy...even a little on edge... The family atmosphere that I once enjoyed seemed a little more distant and their business practices changed... They have implemented a new automatic debit system... And if you dont sign up for automatic debit on a weekly basis... When you pay them they charge you $5.00 every time you pay without letting them debit your credit card/ debit card... They gave me several read why they decided to to this but upon really prodding the truth of the matter is that they have had so many families that have not paid them over the years and they dont want to have to chase their money... I am a parent that has not only paid them on time but... Paid them 1-3 weeks in advance when I could! I explained to Theresa that I have a budget and I get paid every two weeks so being debited from my checking account (because I dont have credit cards) every Monday of the month was not going to work for me... And my other concern is that if their system accidentally debits my checking account twice, they would not cover my overdraft fees! It is truly unfortunate that my relationship with them has ended other this...good luck to all the families that continue on or new families that start with them... Unless you have plenty of money or a credit card... You will be screwed if they accidentally debit your checking account more than once!

Our daughter loves seeing her teachers each day! They are attentive to the needs of each baby and create a warm family-like environment. We love the care our daughter receives Alexanders Academy. This is why we give it 4 stars! Would give 5 but, a few things we do not like:A couple of cons:1) we dislike the auto-debit but, do not wish to pay an extra $260/year in fees in order to pay in person.2) This daycare provides baby food & formula at no additional fee. However, because we chose not to give our daughter infant cereals until she was about 9 months old (to avoid digestion issues commonly associated with starting cereal too soon) she was unable to participate in the food plan and I had to pack all of her food each day. This was acceptable to me but, we expected a small discount on the weekly rate since she was not participating or consuming food provided to the other kids for the same weekly rate.3) Alexanders Academy allows families to reduce their fee to $25/week-twice per year. They call it the vacation rate. I am grateful they do this, however, we travel much more than 2 weeks per year for our business. We are gone closer to 6-8 weeks/year...This will be over $1,200 we will spend on services that will never be rendered to us. This was fully disclosed to us prior to our decision to place our daughter here-we just wish there was a little more consideration and flexibility on this. Maybe 1/2 the weekly rate for the 3rd-6th weeks or anything to help ease the financial burden on families that must travel in excess of 2 weeks per year.It seems like we had a lot of negative things to say but, overall the pros far outweigh the cons and we really do recommend this childcare facility. 💜UPDATE:We chose to go to another nearby daycare (only because our commute changed and we thought the other facility would lessen our drive) for about 4 months and got so fed up with them that we decided to go back to Alexabders Academy!!!! We are SO MUCH HAPPIER! We absolutely love them!My husband called me one morning and said, Im done with ((other daycare)) Im bringing them home...I disenrolled them. I gave Alexanders Academy a call and they were back there within 2 hours.Im not sure if the things I complained about in my original post are still issues anymore 🤷‍♀️ and quite honestly, they were just minor annoyances in comparison to what we experienced at the other daycare that had a state-of-the-art facility but, over promised and underdelivered at every corner. Alexanders Academy always over-delivers. And the teachers really LOVE my children.Lastly, when we left Alexanders Academy around August...my 2-year old daughter was fully potty trained. Im talking...she had an accident maybe 1-3x per week. As soon as we switched daycares, she completely reverted as if she didnt know how to use the potty. The other facility required us to bring pull-ups and she went from rarely having an accident to back in diapers. Were on our 2nd or 3rd week back at AA and so far, our daughter is back in panties doing pretty well!Seriously cant say enough great things about Alexanders Academy.Any cons? Infant bottles have to be brought with the water necessary to make their bottles. Thats about all I got. Minor inconvenience. Nothing to really complain about.
