Just started my boys (2 yrs old & 7 months) at Cadence Academy in August and I love the administrators and teachers! They’re so welcoming and the teamwork between the staff is admirable! All the teachers know all the kids for the most part and it truly feels like a family. I couldn’t be happier to leave my baby boys with such an amazing crew ❤️

I cant say enough good things about Cadence Academy. This is the first school experience for our 4 year old. She loves it. She looks forward to seeing Ms. Val & Ms. Megan everyday. Upon entering the building, everyone greets you with a warm smile & a few kind words. I love the fact that youre informed throughout the day of what your child is doing. Very happy we made the choice to go here.

We are new to Cadence Academy! I love the location of the center. The staff are very friendly. My son who is 2 yrs attends and he loves it so far! He gets so excited when I drop him off!

You guys gave us a days notice about a class room closing for a week because of staff shortage? Both parents have jobs and you guys gave zero effort to try and give some helpful info. When we put our boys in there all we heard was how great you guys are, I’ve never heard this happening before. Holly needs to take a class on professionalism. All I heard was well we called you. Im sorry but what does that even mean? No voicemail was left. I was just suppose to assume the class was closing all week. I was told this morning just for today and six hours later it’s now all week. So not only did you guys fail the first time…. Could of emailed us, texted us, even leave a voicemail. Now the second time, you guys didn’t call us, emailed or text, or a VOICEMAIL about closing the class down for a week instead of for a day. Please do better. I have no issue taking my kids back to their old daycare. You guys charge ceiling prices for what? Beach babies was way better at communicating. This is not on the teachers by the way, this is on the administrative staff. You guys are clearly clueless to think this was a good way to handle YOUR issue.

My kids have been coming to this school for 6 yrs and have loved every one of their teachers. Even when they can stay home, they still choose to go to school. We love it here.

Not only do the teachers know the kids in their classes but they also get to know all of their siblings in other classes and age groups. My kids love going here and love all the teachers!

Very pleased with the care my daughter receives. She is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up and the communication is handled very well. Overall happy with the company !

Both my children have been attending tlk for years. It’s their home away from home and they are always very happy to go and see their friends and teachers. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and I feel like my kids are getting a great educational experience! When things were so hectic and difficult with covid the staff and administration really did a great job of handling all the extra procedures and still are to this day. I know when I’m at work I can trust that my children are in good hands. Thank you tlk for taking such good care of my babies!!

If you’re looking for a great center …. look no further. My daughter has gone to TLK since she was 2 and my son started when he was 4 months. I was super nervous to send my kiddos to daycare especially my son since he was an infant but the staff are AMAZING! I’m always so impressed with all of the staff here. Theyy are so patient, understanding and caring for all of the children. They take the time to address any questions or concerns. They listen to you if there’s ever an issue. I truly feel that my kids are safe and in very caring hands when they are here.My daughter was very shy when she started a few years ago and it was a battle every morning at drop off. Her teachers (Ms. Mel, Ms. Jess and Ms. Victoria) were always patient and understanding with her. Overtime she grew to love attending and would pretty much kick me out. Bittersweet. My daughter just started attending summer camp and had such a rough first day at drop off and Ms. Megan along with the other classmates were so warm and welcoming …. Trying literally everything to get my daughter to feel comfortable. My daughter couldn’t wait to go back the next day and was so excited to see her friends. She couldn’t stop talking about Ms. Megan.Since COVID, they started using an app to send parents reports and pictures of your child throughout the day. Love this new feature and I look forward to the updates throughout the day while I’m at work.

My daughter has been at TLK since she was about 20 weeks old. Now that she’s only 3, and going 3x a week since I’m working from home, she is always saying how much she loves school and her friends and that she wants to go back. As a mom, it’s a great feeling knowing that their kid is as happy (happier??) somewhere else as they are at home. It’s a safe and fun environment to learn in, and it’s amazing watching her grow and learn compared to being home with us this past summer. We love our teachers!

My family has had a great experience at TLK since 2018. My boys go part time and my daughter will start next fall. I feel safe sending them there with the all COVID precautions this past year. My boys tell me they how much they have loved all their teachers which is very important to me!

Was told over the phone their was openings in Sept, was told in person no openings until following June, felt like response was race driven. I felt like if I was not a person of color the staff would of been more welcoming and gave me an earlier available opening date.

My daughter has been going to TLK since she was 8 weeks old. It was hard choosing a daycare due to being a first time mom, but this was best one we found and we are glad we put her here! We have loved the family atmosphere for the past 2 years and loved watching her grow with the curriculum they have created for her age. Due to this pandemic and the hardship that it has created on our family we will be removing her from daycare and will miss everyone terribly! I highly recommend this daycare

Our son has been at TLK for almost 2 years! Through out our time here the staff has been absolutely amazing! We can tell what a great education he is getting from the phenomenal teachers and staff! They have made us feel welcomed, safe and give us a sound mind as we head to work each day! Ms. Taylor and Ms. Amanda are always a warm welcoming face! I would absolutely recommend TLK to anyone looking for daycare !

My son started TLK in January of 2021, after spending just over a year with one of my closest friends. If I had it my way, he would have been there until pre-k, just because of all the fears and anxieties any parent has. However, everything changed when my friend not only became pregnant with child number 2, but had several complications. For her health, and because my husband and I work full-time, we had no choice but to send our little man to daycare. After looking what seemed like forever, we opted to enroll him at TLK. Since starting TLK we have been in love! It didnt matter what questions we had, or how many times a day we emailed or called, there was always someone happy and eager to help. If there was ever a question that couldnt be answered or a concern (just to clarify our concern only concern was related to billing), the staff would find the answer or reach out to the higher powers that be, and come to a resolution. Every day my son walks in, smiles at everyone, and baby runs back to his room. His teachers, Ms. Lauren and Ms. Jessica are always in communication with me! I recall one time he was out for almost a week with a sinus infection, after only 2 days, Ms. Jessica called just to say that she missed him, and see how he was doing. My husband and I love to check out Kids Report throughout the day to see all of the photos and videos that get posted throughout the day; working 40-50 hours a week takes a lot of time away from our little one, so seeing different moments throughout the day are important to us. It also feels so personal, that the staff is super quick on learning who is who, what cars parents drive, etc. As soon as I pull up in front of the school, I can see the staff get up and head back to my sons classroom, and even though my mother has only picked up my son once or twice, they know who she is, which gives me a sense of safety. On top of the friendly environment, it is evident that the school is doing much more than saying this is what were teaching. Checking the daily report, I am able to see what information was taught, and follow up at home. A few weeks ago, the classroom worked on identifying things that were yellow, so when we played with the toys at home, I asked my son to bring me yellow things (yellow markers, yellow blocks), and he did so without hesitation! Another important component to my husband and I, especially with COVID, is the cleanliness of the school. Honestly, you would never know that the school cares for a bunch of children all day. The facility is in great condition, the rooms are clean, and it doesnt smell like a traditional daycare. Not to mention, the staff are always re-arranging and adding personal and homey touches. I was referred to TLK during our day care search, and it was evident on just the first day why. My husband and I will eventually give our son a sibling, and when we do, TLK will definitely be our choice!

TLK is an amazing center! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. My child looks forward to going to school every day and loves the teachers. I would highly recommend TLK to anyone in the area.

TLK has been great especially with following protocols and proper procedures with Covid! Also they are great with communication.

We love TLK. We have gone to a few different daycare centers since we have moved frequently and we have no problems at TLK. My kids run in everyday and are excited to see their friends and teachers. They learn so much while there and you can tell they’re having fun while being educated. The administrators are also great; very responsive and friendly. We are very happy with our decision to enroll our kids at TLK.

Have always loved TLK!

The school is nice in clean .But, if you would like to let your kids learning something before kindergarten, you should find another Pre-K .The kids come here just for playing with friends.The most important is they dont know how to work with the kids who dont know English.They watch your kids when you work .Thats it .Look over their schedule, you will see exactly what I am saying.Also, they dont provide lunch and expensive.

The director Melisa never helps to solve problem for the kids. She always try to claim the problem on them, not on the teacher.Especially, assistant teachers in here about 17-18 yrs old .Do you think they have experience to take care of your children ?

I have had the pleasure to have all my children go here. They love the teachers. My oldest Maggie Loves Mrs. Valerie so much. She even comes backs and sees her. She is now in Sixth grade. They have taught all my children everything they know, and for that I am grateful. Love you guys.

This school is awesome. The environment here is very family friendly. The administration and teacher staff is the best. This school provides a great curriculum for your children. You can rest assured that your child will be ready for Kindergarten once they graduate from Pre-K. This is an awesome option.

My children love going to TLK Smyrna! They are excited each morning to see their teachers and start their day. They enjoy the classroom activities and learn many new things. I love that I pick my children up happy at the end of every day!

We were there 7 years. My kids love the teachers. Everyone is kind and fair and very structured. Camp was great and every level has a theme and ciriculum. It was worth every penny.

We have been with TLK for 6 years. We love the staff, they really care about the children and work to make everyday special! Our children have received a great preschool education and really enjoy the summertime program as well!

For the past three years I have taken my babies to TLK Smyrna. In those three years, they have grown into amazing little people. My mind is at ease, each day, knowing that the teachers and staff there will teach, love, and care for them. Theyre amazing!

They have a lot interms and young employees without experience. I would like to say some of them are still in high school.You will see the sign Happy birthday Ms.... in front of every classroom to remind you something ...???The summer camp program does not educational and does not have many hands on experiments that involves the whole classroom.Their fee is always expensive than the others around that area, and do not provide lunch.My son come here from 2 years old, but when he is in kindergarten, he even cant write his name correctly.I wonder what do the kids learn from here in Pre - K .

This is our 3rd year at TLK and we love it! My daughter loves all the teachers, and she still loves to visit her former teachers! We would highly recommend this site to anyone in the area!!

My child just starting going to TLK and the staff has been great! They are very organized and my daughter just loves it. Im glad that we were able to join. The Program Director, Melissa has made our transition to TLK very easy.

My daughter went here for prek. She had Ms. Casey and Ms. Val. They were wonderful! My daughter was more than prepared for kindergarten. My daughter is now 9. She has fond memories of her days at TLK.

My oldest daughter joined the Pre-K program at TLK Smyrna last year. She loved it so much that we continued to have her go through the entire summer as well. She is now in Kindergarten and still talks about TLK every day and loves to visit her old teachers while we drop off and pick up our 2 year old who just started this year.The facility is always very clean and the teachers genuinely care about each and every child. The safety and care is also top notch which helps ease the mind of every parent.

Best daycare in central DE, hands down! The staff treats the kids like their own, the facility is clean and our kids learn SO much!

Tlk in Smyrna, De is a wonderful center. My son was there from the ones room to pre-kindergarten. My son always had a smile on his face and enjoyed school. TLK hires friendly, caring teachers who make your child feel special. Being a part of the TLK PTO also brought us together with TLK teachers, parents, and staff. TLK PTO organized monthly theme dress-up/down days and various events. TLK was a great fit for our son. He is thriving now academically (in 1st grade) due to the foundation he experienced at TLK. Keep up the good work!
