Weve been coming here for 7 years now. Mr. Tasker has trained my son from a white belt to a second degree black belt, and now he trains my special needs daughter as well. We started at Kicking for Kids/NMMA because of their competitive terms compared to other martial arts studios in our area. Weve stayed because of the family friendly atmosphere theyve created over many years. The Taskers deserve a lot of credit for creating an environment where all kids are accepted and encouraged, especially in a world that can be a little cold. Tenets, begin! I cant say enough about this program and those who run it. It is the perfect program for those who want learn respect, and discipline all while learning self defence and becoming fit. My son has been in this program for 4 years and it has helped him tremendously with self confidence and strength. The staff at North Metro Martial Arts will go out of their way to ensure safety as well as fun! Lastly, this program is genuinely interested in making a positive impact on all those in the community. I have personally seen how much they give back to charities and the the special needs community. Our family is lucky to have found them.

We’ve had a son (4) and daughter (8) in the program for about a year and couldn’t be more impressed! The owners have a no nonsense, yet loving, approach to teaching the kids respect, discipline and confidence. It’s a family affair, with the owners children helping newcomers get acclimated and peers struggling with technique. Our kids have really enjoyed the program!

Our family has been SO impressed by our son’s growth since starting karate at North Metro! He’s learning self-control (which can be challenging for him), respect, working with others and it’s great exercise too! In just a few short months he’s really learned SO much and loves to go each week.

The Taskers are great! Our boys both attended the after school program while at SES, it’s super convenient and they’re always just a call or text away with any questions or concerns. Our middle school aged son is now part of the Leadership Program, it’s done wonders to boost his self confidence and teach him responsibility.

Scott Tasker is an excellent instructor. I have had the pleasure of training with him over the last few years and in that time I have viewed first hand, his ability to bring out the natural potential in his students no matter what their age or ability. He is very dedicated to his students and the quality of his instruction. Coach Tasker and Jennifer Tasker have been a life saver for my family. My husband and I used to worry a lot about our boys and what we would do in regards to after school care. We have now been with North Metro for almost 3 years and we couldnt be happier. They love our boys and the boys love them. Thanks for all of your love and care!
