I took the pasta class here. It was an engaging hands-on 3 hr class. Pasta making is thought in an elaborate way. We made and tasted four different kinds of pasta. They also accomodate Vegetarians and vegans in some classes like this one. The instructor is very patient and cheerful. Its a fun way to spend your weekend afternoon with friends and family

A great idea for a ladies night out, or a date night! I highly recommend the cocktail and cooking class. Everything is very hands on, but done in a community style-- so everyone contributes and enjoys each others food. The staff is super nice, fun and helpful. The place is clean and inviting.Youll learn some fun tricks that you can take home and impress your own dinner guests!

While visiting San Diego for my partners birthday weekend, we joined the Dont cry for me, Argentina cooking class as a surprise (HUGE thanks to manager Lauren who made it all happen) and had an unforgettable evening. Not only was our cook Kekoa hip, but the place itself is unique and fun and full of colours. He broke the ice quickly by getting everyone involved in some preparation activity, taught valuable kitchen-knife-tricks and showed everyone how easy the preparation of our South American dinner is. The class ended with everyone sitting together enjoying a delicious meal and chatting with newly made friends. 5 stars!!!

My sister treated me to a Hipcooks cooking class specifically designed for appetizers and cocktails as I like to entertain at home. The class held about 5 couples, roughly 10 people, and was an intimate and fun way to get your hands dirty in the kitchen. I liked how it kept the pace moving. Once we were done mixing ingredients the staff would cook it while we made and enjoyed drinks in an adjacent area, then they would bring it over when it was done so we could nibble as we mixed more drinks. I came home with several new recipes that stretched me as a host yet are approachable enough to execute without too many obscure ingredients.

Great group fun. I hosted a celebration for my group of twelve with a tapas extravaganza. The sangria started flowing early while we made toasted honey nuts, ceviche, empanadas, manchego cheese with passion fruit, salad, and flan for desert. Many of the group were pedestrian chefs at best ...think hard boiled eggs. The hip cook crew made everyone feel comfortable trying new skills e.g. Flipping nuts in a pan.
