Great men’s haircut. Instructors observed the whole time. Can’t beat the price and the quality is as good as I’ve had at barber shops.

Place smelled like fried chicken. Tried to sneak additional charges on the bill and then argued with me when I brought up concern. Wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a relaxing spa experience

Open to the public for services Thur - Sun 10-7; Walk ins only NOT WORTH IT!! I don’t know what they teach here! Went to get my nails done and left looking like a lumpy mess after being there for 4 HOURS!

Haircut took awhile (expected), however was done well…especially for the beauty school.😊 Oh and people working there were really nice!

I was graduated at 2018, but suki as a teacher still helping me, talk to me about my work, and help my business, she give me lots of ideas and her experience of how to successful in my beauty career, I am trying to open my own spa now, and no matter when I have questions she is kindly to support me always ! Avoid this place. I made an appointment here over a week in advance, and they cancelled it less than 24 hours before my appointment and said, “Maybe in a couple months.” Suki is a joke. Avoid going to this place to get anything done.

I purchased a Pedicure coupon on groupon. I called them thrice and they never picked up the call. Their website has a number where we can text, I texted on their number asking for a pedicure appointment. They never replied. With the groupon coupon, I visited the place and they informed me that they do pedicure only Thu-Sunday 12 PM and 3 PM. Damn! If you are not available on the weekdays, you should update it in groupon or google. Their hours in google are 10 AM - 10 PM. I finally ended up canceling the order. You should atleast know to respond to your phone calls and text messages.

This is a great place to get a haircut and any other service they offer. Both the students and the instructors are wonderful! All around a fantastic experience!

My wife went to American Beauty Institute and get her manicurist license few months ago. She was very happy with the school. She does not speak a lot of English since she just came to this country. When she was in her manicurist program and use dictionary and google translation. I was very surprise how much she had improved her English after two months. I also want to Say thank you to this school. Since my schedule is very different to drop her off but school was very supportive and flexible. I am recommended American Beauty Institute for anyone can not go to regular school. small school but everyone very friendly and helpful. Teachers are super patient. worth it.

American Beauty Institute is great school! The schedule is flexible, it’s not overpriced, you can finish a school in 2 month and take you exam pretty fast.I wanna thank a best instructor ever Suki. She it amazing teacher- always there for you!If you live in San Diego I highly recommend this school.

I have to give a 5 starts for this school. I took lash extension class from Suki 2 years ago. At that time I felt she has high expectation to student. She expect me to completed 120 lashes in 1 hour I thought it was impossible. Now I realize it was such a good training for me. She is not only teach me skills she also teach me how to set up my business. Without her help I really do know where I end up now. I got my first house because of my lash skill.

I took a make up class at American Beauty institute. I has been learning make up for a long time i just want to get a certification from a school so i took this class. It was very difficult to reach them since i had call more then 10 times. Finally Suki return my calls and email. I am very glad i took the class. I learn more then i expected. Especially Suki coach me the skill of lips, eyes and brows design. Wow i can not believe how good that class was. 5 starts

Best beauty school

Went in today for facial. Emily was GREAT. Id go back in a heart beat. The instructor was there while she worked on me giving tips and positive feedback to Emily.

My friends and I got pedicures here and they did so good! They were spa pedicures and felt amazing

On their webpage they say they are open on Sunday. Went there around 11am. They were closed. The sign in the front door had a sign saying we will be back by 1230. The back door sign said back at 1030. My friends and I waited until 1245. There were many cars in the spots for the employees. I tried to call, no answer. I did not see any times posted on the doors.

Looked at many other reviews on other sites they say the same. They really dont know how to conduct business????Watch out some of these REVIEWS are fake.

Highly recommend this place.
