Five stars across the board! I’ve been going here myself as well as bringing my two children here for a long time now. We always get a great haircut and we’re always treated with respect. You can’t beat the five dollars plus I love the fact that it’s black owned. I’ve always gotten great haircuts, they have great music playing they always greet you and Jerry is always so interactive and helpful with his students. This place is an asset to the community and I wouldn’t want go anywhere else to get my haircut.

Brought my kids in tonight and left happy with the results. The barbers are students so go in with that in mind. Both barbers took their time and sought help when needed. Everyone is super professional and the barbers kept their cool with my little one, as well as my preteen who is super particular about her hair.

I go here every week to get my hair cut, usually by David he does a great job and will shampoo u after if u ask. Yesterday,I went and saw Logan he did a great job we had a great conversation which made for a most enjoyable cut,today I forgot to take a pic

Its is very much a blessing to be able to go into a Barbershop like Riggins and get a nice hair cut for $5.00. The gentleman named Jose helped me and his partner in school helped with a fade 1.5 to a #4 leaving hair on top 2 to 2.5 inches, perfect. Jose took his time and combed my hair a lot, i like. When he finished I asked him to wash my hair also and he did. And I rewarded him with $5.00. I wanted to get change and reward him again but he did not want me to. Definitely this barbershop is tops and a nice location ok.

I have been bringing my children to Jerry since my son was in middle school, he is now in his junior year in high school. I have noticed his interactions with women and have yet to see any foul conduct. Very comical, very friendly, but never pushing the line. Jerry has always been a very humble down to earth man. I love what he is doing in the community and the lives he has touched in the meantime. I would vouch for him and his businesses any day. When you enter in Urban Barber College you get greeted as soon as you walk in and treated with respect. That’s the business side I have encountered. The cuts are great and my son is always happy with his hair. I recommend this business. You cannot beat a great $5 haircut!

Great value for 5 dollars the instructor seems to be very helpful to the students helping them anytime they need it. But if he is helping someone else the students work together to get the problem solved. Great environment and atmosphere definitely coming again

Best Barber School in San Diego. This School offers San Diego a place to learn a skilled trade with quality instruction and a clean and modern location in which to better their future. Jerry is a great teacher and a caring business man. A skilled barber can makes a good income. For those who wish to learn a trade, I would recommend Urban Barber College.

I always have the best experience with urban barber college . Fast wait times, if ever any, my hair is always slayed. 100% satisfied with every style and the barbers and stylists are always nice and friendly. 5$ haircuts everyday from what I understand, also is a college where students can complete classes. I love watching them interact with each other.

Pound for pound the best barber in SD! Cant beat the price and service. The manager there cares for people and his students and it shows. My son came out of there looking like a million dollars.

Really chill place for a haircut! the guy that cut my hair did a really good job! He did the hot towel and everything!! Students are under supervision of instructors that really know there stuff! I look forward to my next visit thank you Urban barber college.. oh and its only $5

ABSOLUTELY the best experience Ive ever had in a SAN DIEGO BARBAR SHOP!!!!! Greeted immediately upon walking in. Friendly engaging stylists everywhere. Helenna was very nice, professional, patient, and most importantly sanitary. My son was definitely in blessed hands. Well worth the drive all the way from Rancho Bernardo. GREAT JOB EVERYONE.
