I really cant say enough good things about Bright Horizons. I visited countless day cares trying to find the right one for my infant girl. None of them felt quite right. But then I walked in Bright Horizons and my perspective about what a daycare SHOULD be changed immediately. It was clean, bright and neat. There were obvious zones for art, exercise, play and reading. Many of the teachers had advanced degrees and most had been there for years (turnover did not seem to be a problem). Perhaps the most impressive thing was that the infant classroom had a weekly curriculum, which told me that they truly believed that learning starts the moment a child is born. As if to put a cherry on top of the experience, I went on a Tuesday when the infant classroom has a guitar player come in to play childrens songs for the class. Our daughter has been at Bright Horizons for two weeks now and the experience has been better than the lofty expectations they already set. Is it pricy? Yes. But I feel like Im getting what I pay for (and more) - and thats something that no other center I visited seemed to offer.
Our experience at Bright Horizons RCC has been fantastic. There is a fantastic family feel to the place (all the staffers seem to know all of the kids, across all ages). Our two children have been quite happy there, and our older childs transition from Bright Horizons to Kindergarten went even better than we had hoped.I think the tuition is higher here than most other preschools in the area, but I also think its well worth it... and I *think* (not sure) they have assistance for lower-income families.
We love, love, love BH @ Corporate Center. The teachers, facilities, and the other families are all superb. Our kids were more than ready for kindergarten when they finished the Pre-K year at BH. Theres no better feeling knowing your kids are ready to conquer the world when they graduate.
