Excellent martial arts education and role models. My children have learned discipline, respect and teamwork in a way that has really filled them with confidence and inspired them. We highly recommend for both girls and boys!

I like the way Master Chang communicates with the children. They seem to understand what hes teaches, because they follow his instruction for the most part after he goes through a series of exercises for them to do.

Master Chang’s is top notch instruction! As a teacher, building connections can make or break instruction. From Ms. Dalia at the front desk, to each instructor, they have found a way to make a connection with each member of our family. We were so thankful during COVID for virtual instruction and it actually strengthened my kids’ bond with multiple masters. I also love their community outreach and non-martial arts skills that are taught through their program. It’s a great way to bridge the gap between, school, home and TaeKwonDo. Master Changs has an excellent program for kids and we really enjoyed our time there. They are enthusiastic, positive, organized and well managed - Dalia at the front desk is fantastic! The student to teacher ratio in all the classes seems very low and the teachers all seem both skilled at both taekwondo and good at interacting with the kids. Even the belt tests are organized and fun.

If you are looking for a Martial Arts school that is full of energy and will keep your child engaged while also establishing important life skills such as discipline, focus and respect, you have come to the right place. Master Chang’s Martial Arts has a wonderful program where the classes are taught by a wide variety of instructors that always keep classes running smooth even with the high volume of students. The facilities are always in clean and pristine condition which is also a plus. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for an all around Martial Arts experience. They also have teenager and adult programs so that your whole family can learn together!

An experience worth more than money can buy! My son loved being able to join at Master Changs martial arts and always left home with a smile saying it was fun. The teachers there are friendly, positive and are really good at making children laugh, enjoy their time and learn at the same time. Our 4 year old has been coming here for a few months now and loves it! All of the instructors and staff go above and beyond to make sure the kids are involved and no one is left behind during class. They are taught how to listen, follow direction, and respect in addition to all of the physical skills. We were also really impressed with the staff when we had his birthday party here in June. It went so smoothly and all of the kids had a blast. They helped with all of the setup and cleanup. We love Master Chang’s!

We just got home from our sons birthday party and are so impressed with the entire experience at Master Changs!! We had nearly 30 kids and they all had a blast! The party started with an impressive show from the demo team - which was just the perfect length to keep the kids entertained. They next had intros and gave the birthday boy some special attention before having an interactive instructional time. We took a break for cake and treats, where our son got to cut his cake with a real sword! At the end, every single kid got to break a board. The parents were all equally impressed. They had tons of staff and students there to make the experience run smoothly. Thank you so much for such a memorable afternoon!

My two children attend classes and after school care at this location and the staff is very flexible and accommodating with my schedule. They were willing to work with my family during a family emergency and have been there when needed. really appreciate Master Chang and his staff!!! Thanks!

Our granddaughter goes to Master Changs and loves it! It is a wonderful place with wonderful people. We were very impressed from the first time we walked in to find out information about their program. You can tell that they all love what they are doing and their love for children and helping them grow is always evident. We are SO happy we found you in Raleigh !!!

I love it so much! My son does it 3 times a week and never wants to miss a day. The staff is so great! They treat your kids as their own. The kids learn so much!!!

Our twins have been here since Jan. It has been awesome. The staff is friendly, helpful, informative and a joy to speak with. The facility is always clean and full of happy faces. All of the instructors are equally as fun, energetic and kid friendly. I cant speak highly enough about the joys my family get everytime we come to practice.

Two of our children attend Masher Changs Martial Arts after school/track out programs and we recently had a birthday party for our 6yr old. They did an amazing job keeping the kids and parents engaged. The twenty minute show of martial arts was exciting to watch, all the kids had fun learning basic techniques, breaking boards and overall participation of the group was was exciting to watch. We provided the cake/drinks and they took care of the rest! Every employee who participated seemed to enjoy the party as much as the kids and did an amazing job interacting with the children. I would highly recommend them for a childrens party as well as their after school/track out programs.

I was really impressed at the large facility and how the many skilled instructors work around the kids. Instructors are always smiling and are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They strive to keep the student to instructor ratio as low as possible; the quality of instruction really shows. My grand daughter has been training here for several years. After hearing some of the stories from parents about other Martial Arts Schools surrounding Raleigh I was mortified at what they consider acceptable.. I have never had a complaint, nor heard one, about the program here; best karate school experience by far! We are also involved in their phenomenal track out program as well - I never worry when I am dropping her off at Master Changs Martial Arts. I am so lucky that we found this one first!

Master Chang’s has been transformative for my high energy, high frustration son. The curriculum, dedicated staff and consistency work together to offer the most comprehensive extra curricular that I’ve found. They offer lessons including self control in an accessible way. We are all in.

I love this place. The staff is so nice, very encouraging, and funny. You can tell they truly love their work and people. Our family did Hapkido and have greatly enjoyed it. I was concerned about my age and having no martial arts experience. They meet you where you are and greatly encourage you. I recommend Master Changs to any one!

I am so impressed with the positive energy and enthusiasm exhibited by all the staff members as well as the quality of instruction. They reinforce concepts like focus, respect, and doing well in school. The staff goes out of their way to make new students feel welcome and included. You can tell they really care about kids and are very skilled. My son loves it and looks forward to every class.

Went to a birthday party here on sep. 7th (today) and felt compelled to say Ive never seen so many kids have THAT much fun while the adults kept seamless control. Very impressed future customer.

We attended a GREAT birthday party at the Raleigh location and decided to take advantage of their special offer for classes at their new Cary location. The teachers there are absolutely amazing. I have two very active boys, 4 and 2yo and both love it! They run around the house practicing their TKD (not on each other, bonus)

This is our third Taekwondo school in the area over the past 2 years and it is by far the BEST put together school I have seen thus far. I would like to see more sparring one vs one because my son goes to competitions and needs the work but overall very pleased with the school. The trial lesson was goo. The bad experience I had was I enrolled on to a membership but the next day I got a call that I need to return to my country due to an emergency. SO when I called and spoke to Dola/Dora (whatever her name is) and explained to her she was very rude and sounded angry and didnt even say bye when putting the phone down. When I went to the place to get my refund. She snatched the uniform out of my hand and said why can you not make it anymore. I explained and she had no sympathy. She didnt make eye contact. She processed the refund and was looking down when giving my card and said Youre all set. I said thanks when I shouldnt have and she didnt respond and just carried with someone else. Seems like shes greedy for peoples money and sales but doesnt care about the staff. Hope MCMA gets rid of her as shes bad for business. And I witnessed her shouting at a kid and told him to wait when he called her for help.

The masters at MCMA are full of fun energy and run amazing classes! They are not only great taekwondo masters but are also awesome with kids as well! Great atmosphere for families to be together!

My son had his birthday party here, and I was so impressed! The staff was incredible and worked so well with my my son, who has special needs. The demonstration was fantastic and the lesson for the kids was fun and energizing. I cant wait for both of my kids to try classes here!

Wildly better than white tiger taekwondo, my dad along with white tiger’s entire hapkido program moved over, and it’s clear that Master Chang not only has better prices, but cares about their schools and students. I wish I could give 6 star rating.

BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! WOW is all I can say! We have been to and have hosted too many to count. This wasnt just a party, but an experience. They performed a demonstration that is more like a choreographed show. The kids get to take a class to learn more about TKD and then they get to break boards! It was as fun and entertaining for the parents as much as the kids. If you are looking for a venue for a birthday party, especially something different than the standard bounce park, play structure or amusement venue this is the place.On another note, we have also been taking our now 5 year old son to the Tiger Tots classes for about 4 months. What an amazing program! What we love most is the attention the give to eye, body and mind focus. Having this class and these principles has given us the language to have dialouge regarding behavior at home and school.Thanks so much!!

We started our son in the Tiger Tots program after being extremely impressed with Master Chang on our first visit, and we have continued to be impressed with the energy, ability and patience of the instructors! The administrative staff has also been patient, understanding and great to work with. Great experience all around!

Been a student of Master Changs since 2003. Never a dull moment with him. His unique instruction style has not changed since the day I started training with him. Always a positive attitude even when your down. I would of not grown up to be the person that I am without the discipline instilled by Master Chang.

We have had a wonderful experience over the past year at Master Changs Taw Kwon do. The staff here are experienced, energetic, and you can tell they love what they do. They are wonderful and encouraging with kids and adults alike. We also took advantage of the Birthday Party that is included with our membership and it was AWESOME. The party ran smoothly, the staff was helpful and helped us set up and clean up. The kids all had a blast. Highly recommend Master Changs Martial Arts!

My grandson came to Tiger Den after a bad experience at another Taekwondo school. Since he has come to Tiger Den he has had a wonderful experience.The instructors helped him to become well adjusted and actually showed that they cared and understood a childs needs. My grandson accomplished his goal of receiving his black belt and he still wants to attend classes. This shows me that he enjoys the learning environment that he is in. I appreciate the staff at Tiger Den for providing such a wonderful experience for him.

My son was hesistant to begin training, but the instructors and staff were very patient and friendly with him. Within a short period of time he began enjoying the classes and was hooked on TKD. He has been going there for over two years now and has his sights set on a Black Belt. The staff is oustanding and the instructors take a genuine interest in knowing the child and family. They also organize awesome birthday parties! I am very happy with Master Changs Martial Arts and highly recommend them for children and adults alike.Update June 2018 - My son just achieved his first degree Black Belt in TKD. What an accomplishment considering he received it before his 8th birthday. The whole staff is very encouraging and made it very fun for him!

The staff is silly and full of energy! The kids have so much fun while learning life skills and discipline. With authentic instructors from Korea (as well as the American instructors taught by them), I know my child is not only receiving correct instruction, but culture as well. The Korean language and customs of respect are included in every class. My child has been a tae kwon do student at the Raleigh location for 1 year, and his self esteem has improved tremendously. He used to be shy, soft spoken, scared to do anything that would draw attention to him in fear of being laughed at. Now he is a model student that performs with the Demo Team. He has learned to “Just dance - who cares who’s looking?” He also attends the Anti-Bullying class where he learns how to handle being made fun of, being physically assaulted and how to treat others with a kind and empathic heart. Every child is treated as special and parents are encouraged to be involved. Master Chang’s Martial Arts feels more like a big family rather than a school that we are happy to be a part of. They also offer Hapkido, track out camp, after school care and pick up, birthday parties, and they tour local schools to talk about Bully Prevention Awareness.

My son has been training at MCMA-Raleigh for the past 6 months and I have been thoroughly impressed with all aspects of what they offer. I have seen the positive effects training has had on him and have enjoyed watching his excitement as he achieves goals and sets new goals. We recently celebrated his 8th birthday at MCMA and I can, without reservation, say that this was the best birthday party. Not only for the children but also the parents were entertained throughout the event. The staff took care of setting everything up and cleanup afterwards. I would highly recommend MCMA if you are looking for a martial arts facility in Raleigh. Also, regardless whether you currently train there or not, I highly recommend having a child’s birthday party there.

Master Changs Martial Arts is a place that makes me smile! From kids yelling with joy to simply the staff giving it there all. This is my 2nd home.☺☺

Master changs is one of my favorite places to go Ive been going there for a few years and it was the best few years ever master changs is a family friendly place with a great staff that is supportive. they have prentice date nights and a famille fun day that makes the experience that much better.
