I love this school! The teachers and administration are focused on ensuring students are able to learn. ACE is challenging, but also pushes the children to learn and excel in a safe environment. The athletic program is great; both we and the boys have been pleased with the facilities and coaches who have helped them grow in their chosen sports. My boys have also participated in band, and I cannot believe the lengths they grew in such a short time with their instruments.

Too many rules about uniform and dress code! Theyre kids, let them breathe. Plus, they have only FIVE minutes to switch periods, its ridiculous. They should be able to have colorful nails, dangley earrings, falsies, facial hair, etc. without being distracting. This whole thing about all black and all white shoes is stupid. The staff are two faced and/or rude. Laura Perkins is extremely rude as well. Also, they should have any type of backpacks, its dumb. Theres more about this school that drives me and my daughter crazy! I would give 0 stars if I could.

There are several teachers here at ACE are very disrespectful to their students. I have listen in on several different zoom classes for the past week or so and I am appalled at the attitude that some your teachers have that are not being provoked. Ms. Perkins or Ms. Stokes please listen in on the zoom classes that are being held. The academics are wonderful and I really appreciate the structure. But there are several teachers that may need to reconsider their profession. In order for students to be able to learn and teachers teach, there has to be an environment or milieu created that is conducive to learning. Enough negativity goes on in our world today on T.V. and society that parents should not have to worry about teachers impeding their negative and less than appropriate demeanor on to the students.

Fantastic charter school! The teachers always go above and beyond for their students. The curriculum is very challenging but they make sure the students are supported and prepared and really have a focus on education first. The campus is beautiful as well and they even have a pond in the entrance. Would highly recommend putting your childs name in for the drawing for a chance to become an ACE Scholar.

ACE is a school of excellence in which I am proud to be affiliated with since retiring from teaching five years ago. I have been working as a substitute teacher there ever since, and had I known that such a wonderful school existed, I probably would have never retired. From the administrators, to the staff, and down to the students, I have never experienced such a welcoming group of people who put education first and place the well being of all the people there as a top priority.

ACE is the place for my three sons, who attended this fine school since it opened its doors. I taught at Stratford Academy for 3 years about 17 years ago and have friends and family with children in nearly every school in Middle Georgia. No school is perfect, but I can say with complete confidence that ACE is a fantastic school and is absolutely what our community needs. It is great to have a tuition free school in Bibb County providing top notch academic instruction, and you cant beat seeing student athletes participating in chorus, fine arts, and theater. This is what a college prep school is all about -- developing all facets of the student. Those criticizing the rigors of the school may want to reflect on why so many schools in our state are inadequate. Perhaps when schools set low expectations for students and parents, the students and parents meet those low expectations.

You have been rather rude to my good friend and therefore I am giving you a bad review here are some ways to improve your fine school #1 Be kind and respectable to all students and faculty #2 Layoff Mrs.Perkins there are several good reasons that I doubt I must list #3 Please be more inclusive of your students desired pronouns at the current moment your school is rather exclusive toward the Trans and Non-binary community’s and in general the lgbt+ peoples. Best school in Bibb county! Great administration and management. For the neigh sayers who dislike the school, you are welcome to return to your regular assigned Bibb county schools. ACE is a choice, you dont have to be there.

Very impressive and excellent school. After care is even great! They really watch over the kids there and help them to perform their best. If you can get into this school it’s a winner!

Our family experienced a lot of pressure and demands at ACE.Many, not all, of the teachers are snotty at this school. They are goodie~goodie and choose which kids they like. They will pick and over grade and fail your child! And they are mostly the newlyweds 😁 They NEVER let my child go to the restroom. They only have 5 minutes between classes for crying out loud!

Love this school!! My child is getting a private school education for free!! The staff are amazing!! The campus is beautiful & the environment is refreshing! No way I could ever withdraw my daughter and put her somewhere else...especially in bibb county! no comparison! Feels good to know that my daughter will be college ready!! Thank you Mrs. Perkins and Mrs. Stokes for creating this wonderful establishment!

Love the school. They need to do something about that lady in the office at the desk with yellowish hair. Im sure pressure is felt at the office a lot but at least smile and be friendly. She has had a rude tone with both me and my wife. This makes the school look bad and we know ACE can do better!

A school that encourages their students to be independent, creative, and continuously seeking knowledge. Their students are well disciplined and respectful to others and to themselves. The students are taught to become contributing adults to society and to love one another.

ACE is an amazing school in Macon. It is well thought out and communication is excellent between administration, parents and teachers. The poor ratings based on traffic is ridiculous. The hear-say about the school being placed in a specific location is crazy. If youve ever visited this school you will know it is at the Northern part of the county- but also not close to specific neighborhoods and is out of the way for most parents. The idea of this school is parental commitment to your childs education. If you dont want to drive your child to school- this isnt the place for you. If you want your child to learn with no distractions, be disciplined, and have respect for their fellow students and teachers- well this is the place for you! We love ACE!

The school has changed within the past 2 years. They are letting in more rough families My boy is picking up profanity from school. I might as well have my kids go to Howard or Sonny Carter. Teaching staff is excellent. A lot of good teachers have left though. The blonde lady in the main office is short wirh you and not friendly at all!!

I am an 11th grader at ace and have been attending since the tail end of 8th grade. I appreciate the high quality education offered to me and the professionalism of most of my teachers. However, I feel as though many things are over looked or allowed when they shouldn’t be. For example, instances of racism are not taken seriously or seen as anything more than ‘bullying’. There are very few avenues for ethnic students to express themselves in a comfortable environment or club/ group where their input is valuable. One other issue is the blatant sexism displayed by many of the staff. As far as education goes, ACE is excellent but can stand to go through some sensitivity training.

LOVE! My children can concentrate on their curriculum instead of self-defense. Thank you ACE! A true game-changer for those who want to obey the rules and actually learned.

My Daughter has attended ACE from the very beginning of its doors opening. We are Proud ACE Parents and are very pleased with the growth of our ACE Scholar. Im glad we made the decision to attend a Charter School, it was definitely a wise choice.

This is best school in Macon, GA!! The teachers really care about their students. The administration is always courteous and helpful! Plus my children now LOVE to go to school! They cannot wait to see what they are going to learn next! Last year they hated school, but this year they get up early so they can get to school as soon as it opens, and they do not want to leave! I definitely recommend ACE to anyone who wants to give their child the best well rounded education in Georgia!

School should be named Patel or Smaha These families must own stock in ACE.The whole family goes and teaches here 😂I will give them credit that most of the teachers are great and curriculum plus activities . So blessed that my son is going to ACE. All administrators and staff are wonderful. Where teachers can teach and students will learn. ACE is a wonderful place!

I love this place because they really truly do what they say.....teach. My child love this school as well. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a school that really teaches the children.

The school is awesome and the teachers are great. I only have two complaints. One is that certain students seem to get preferential treatment. For example photos posted on main page after an event are only certain students and not the group as a whole. Two, the traffic is terrible even after four years. The are many who act as though they are above the rest of us and can do whatever they wish.

My son got admission at this place but I withdrew it afterwards due the rudeness and attitude of Ms. Laura Perkins. I think she is very mean and unprofessional in her conduct and I am glad my child will get to go to a better school with better people. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I am a rising 7th grader student at ace. I can say good and bad things about this school... some good things are that ive noticed that my classmates are very good to new students. I have had several amazing friends since the school opened. But there are many downsides. The teachers can and will pick favorites and you can tell who they like, love, and hate. Many of my teachers hate me. One of the most amazing teachers in the whole school is Mr. Chad Dowdell. Also, idk if this is still happening, but i heard that they were giving out mystery meat to the kids at lunch and leftovers in addition to the expired milk and peach cups. Whenever i walk to the lunchroom is smells like someone straight projectile vomited the mystery meat all over the place. My previous year in 6th grade, we had to wait until 12:45 to eat at 3rd lunch for just 15 minutes. What?!? One of the 4th grade teachers used to cut in line, take whoevers lunch out of the microwave and proceed to microwave his own food. Some of the teachers are just straight up disrespectful. One of them asked why me and another student were playfighting by drawing on eachothers papers and then mocked my answer. Wow, i didnt know they had that much power, including the right for calling me out for holding a pencil in my hand while doing warmups... thats not fair, now is it? The principles should give a little talk to the teachers and see what makes it fair to do things like that. I could say far more than what i did! Just a couple more things: The girls literally have to be touched with a ruler to make sure they arent wearing an innopropriate skirt. I was on my way to science when it happened to me. I am a very tall girl so finding a suitable skirt is a struggle. IDs. so annoying. Students are constantly screamed at in the hallways to, and i quote, GO TO CLAAAASSSSSS!!!!!! and move to class, stop talking to your friends we literally have to hide in locker alley to not be approached by hall monitors. it is completely our responsibility to make sure we make it, otherwise we go to silent lunch. thank you for reading.

School is an A+++ but... The traffic problem in the morning needs a solution. The four way....It takes twenty minutes to get from Chic Fil-A on Bass to the driveway of ACE to drop my boys off. Having another part of the school start at 8:15 and end at 3:30 may help even more. A lot of people are traveling to work through the 4-way. We have the Apartment Complex people...The Farm Bureau and the other Cubicle Job people are having to be constantly let in... This can be solved if Bibb County can observe this and engineer this better. Let the members of PTO or head staff leave their house after seven.
