Teachers are very helpful to us but the administration is horrible. The deans are so disrespectful. They put you in the deans office for the most random things. About a month ago, I was sent to the deans office for giving a girl a bottle of water that wasnt hers. Im not even making that up. They literally sent me to the deans office for GIVING A GIRL A WATER BOTTLE THAT WASNT HERS. Then they the dean exclaimed, Im gonna have to call your mother about this. My mom is very understanding so I wasnt worried, but when he called she didnt answer, so he left a message and said to call him back. She called him back 3 TIMES and he didnt answer. Why? Because he has REAL problems to deal with! Love my teachers, hate my deans. Thats pretty much how most kids feel at Silvestri Junior High.

Silvestri is a great school. My daughter was very involved with Silvestri, doing poly club, AVID, staying after school sometimes with her teachers. I would prefer my daughter going to Silvestri than the school she is at right now. My daughter knew many of the staff members and got along with them. Some teachers were tough on her, others werent, i understand why they were tough on her. They wanted to challenge her to see what she is capable of and she passed. Thanks to the teachers and staff members, deans, and counselors my daughter has been working harder than ever. She is now an A and B student. Silvestri may not be recommended to some, but I highly recommend your child going here. Theyre not as strict about their dress code as students make it seem and the deans and counselors arent awful. some teachers may be rude, but thats some not all. My daughter will always have a heart for silvestri and will always be a shark. (if you get Mrs. Taylor, youre a lucky one. Thats my daughters favorite teacher )

Its an OK school....I mean some of the teachers are loving and caring and I love being in their classes but others...not so much. They take everything out of proportion. Go off topic, swear in class(although its kinda funny sometimes) its still inappropriate. Bullying is a bug thing, you cant walk through the halls without someone calling you something. And stupid stuff like name calling isnt always something that should be considered bullying but apparently it is. Im only is 7th grade and I know Im not and adult and supposedly cant make grown up decisions but I do think we need to re think our staff. Some of out staff/administrators are really all around confusing and or rude. Some of the hall monitor people we have are incredibly rude, even to people like me who try to always be respectful. You cant say one thing without you getting sent to the Deans office. Again its not the entire staff but some of it is just...ugh.

Currently attending this school in 7th grade and I think this has been one of the best years Ive had. I love the people here as they are full of personality and funny jokes. The icing on the cake for this school is the Chromebooks. They are really helpful to me as I am a better typist than writer, dont know how i lived without them.

I am new to this school and I saw some bad and good reviews but in my opinion I have a feeling this year is going to be great the school is very clean the staff I met at orientation are very nice and respectful so Iam looking forward to having an awesome year at Charles Silvestri Junior High School.

I spent the rest of my 8th grade year at this school, and it was a good experience! I shouldve came here earlier. The electives here are great at this school, and you get a lot of freedom here. The students here for the most part, are openminded, and dont pick on you for your size. I looked forward to going here, and I was right!

Best place for kids soccer & football practices.It has lights so very helpful in winter practices.

The school is okay. Some teachers suck at teaching but some are funny and just roast the annoying kids. Overall, this school was better than Tarkanian.

I love this school because it teaches you lots ok stuff and its not as complicated and most of everyone is kind and teachers are really respectful

This school has an awesome education system, but many of kids there are rude and immature, just as youd except middle schoolers to be. There are many events for students, such as dances and music in the courtyard every Friday morning. There are great teachers, and there are bad. Some teachers will yell at us because we dont ask for their help, but when we do, they get mad because we dont understand. Some of the teachers are very quick to jump to conclusions and arent very understanding. But like I said, there are good teachers!! I had some amazing teachers, such as Mrs. Heter (7th grade history), Mrs. Whitworth (6th grade reading but is retired), and Mr. Ewen (6th grade science), and Ms. Altobella (Home Ec. and Student Council). 6th and 7th grade were nothing great for me, but Im hoping my 8th grade year will be the best! :)

Silvestri it could be fun at sometime but boring at the other times some of the teachers are really strict but the others are really fun and open I love how u get to pic any elective u want but I hate how some teachers act like your mom u dont get to throw anything away unless u ask the administrator are very strict I like this school very much this is going to be my 3 year the best teachers u can get is ms Rickard ms tarchonie mr hageter and ms whittsitt I love all these teachers the kids here are very friendly and u make great friends some of the teachers can act like your mom u learn alot though I feel like this school is a money school u have to pay for alot I like how u get wifi at this school and the teachers are fun thank u bye

This school is really mest up because a lot of the teachers assume a lot and i get really mad cause of that even most of the teachers dont even let you go throw away something eve if the teacher is not even speaking. Ms elam is the history teacher she is thinking that someone in period 2 is clicking the call button to call the deans office and told her that it probably was not the class it was probably someone outside of the classroom that probably clicked and he never got caught im not saying it was me because i never did anything im just thinking that it was probably someone in another classroom that never got caught so in my opinion this school is the worst. But the counselors are really nice that they will help you with anything. My friend also has ms elam and my friend elbow was bleeding a lot because he scraped his elbow and he started bleeding a lot and he asked ms elam if he can go to the nurses office or if he can get a couple of bandaids and ms elam didnt care and she also saw the blood from him and she just said now like she didnt care and i know that she doesnt care. I dont think that ms elam should be a teacher. The best teachers in that school in Ms whitworth and ms tarchione because they actually care about you and if ypur going through a rough time then they will ask you about it and check if your okay.

It was a good school at first until it happens. the teachers are horrible but not all of them but worst of all the system but Im glad I graduated before that new principal came in and ruin the rules.

I hate everything about this school. The students are mean and disrespectful. When you try to report a bully the dean doesnt do anything and if they do the bully still does not stop. The teachers do not do their jobs. I have teachers that give us papers to do then they leave the classroom. Some of the dress code rules are unnecessary. I am sorry that as a teenage girl I wear a bra and sometimes the thin strap of that bra shows. This school has 5 stars. And In my and more than half of the kids at this schools opinion Charles Silvestri Junior High School does NOT deserve these stars. If I had a choice (and sadly I dont) I would move far away from this school. Now Im probably going to get in trouble for this because at Silvestri we are not allowed to have our own opinion. Also the deans would love to get involved with something that is a problem other than helping a kid that is being bullied. Sorry for the disrespect towards my school. I am clearly not a good shark.. Oh well.
