UPDATE: Lied Middle School is something else. Im pretty sure all the bullcrap that the kids say to some teachers are quite accurate. Pretty much some (I mean, a lot.) Cares about drama and partially of their reputation. While we see the teachers sit back and tries to stop. We see more kids, starting fights, wars, and dramas. It will be amazing if theres a security about this stuff. But we all know that, its gonna be more damn than ever.

It was terrible. some people get threatened or brings guns their were a lot of drugs I would know I went to lied. A lot of stuff happened and I was surprised when they said they were going to make this a magnet school.

As a former student moving onto the 11th grade now, i can tell you Lied Middle School was a very fun and opportunistic experience. Although there is drama ( as almost all schools ), the staff cant be anymore helpful within dealing with the situations provided. The school does have a bad past with teachers doing illegal things, since then the school has moved on and hasnt had an incident of the sort to this day. It is true that there are pretty bad kids at that school, but once again, youre going to find that at any school you go to regardless of where it is. Kids will be kids. But it is imperative that you look into the teachers and success rate of each grade and subjects before en-rollling your kid into this school. I hope this helps. :)

This is a horrible school. The leadership is at this school is terrible. The dean ms Emerson is sexiest and will yell at your child and then try and lie when she is confronted. The do not know how to handle bullying especially when it deals with a girl and a boy student. Do not send your kids to this school

This school needs to be out of business. My sister has been going here for the last year and a half and has been getting bullied by the same girl. The school is aware and refuses to do anything about it.

We brought a new house over Christmas break and my son started this school January 15, 2016 after completely finals at his previous school. Today I had to withdraw him, March 2, 2016. Only 1 month and 2 weeks after starting this school. My son was stabbed with a pencil, lunch stolen and ruined twice, many threats of stealing his skateboard (was on the phone with him when I literally heard one of the threats), and finally punch in the face and North Las Vegas police had to come to assist in the incident. This school has a serious bully problem. When I spoke to a CCSD Counselor and school psychologist at the nearby elementary school in the district their words were, Lied is a rough school. That says a lot.

I love this middle school it may be hard but thats what challenges me and I am having so much fun thats why I enjoy being at lied middle school

Im in 6th grade and in my opinion Lied is a GREAT school!!! I suggest going there! There havent been many fights but there are a few just like any other school. Out of my six classes all my teachers are great except for one.

This school is ok and just basic over all nothing outstanding nothing bad although one complaint is the buses, and i know the school doesnt control transport but they need to improve who they hire theres this bus driver i have is never on time and during Sbacs when i need to eat breakfast ( on time before bell ) its always a rush to get to the lunchroom another thing that happened is today i had to wait 20 mins for a bus to come which is unbelievable as this school is turning into a magnet school small things like this shouldnt happen in a soon to be magnet school.

I would give this a two star because This school has rat problems. Also there was like two fights in one day. A 7th grader had to go to the hospital because of one of them fights, but there are less tardies then the last two years. I really wouldnt turned lied into a magnet school...at least not yet.

This school is ok and all but the worst part is a bunch of the teachers. Im not saying all of them are but they are like so mean that they would give the devil a run for his money. One of them took a way a chromebook because a student was doing science work. Like they need to get baptised 10 more times for god to let them into heaven. I currently go to this school and have a comnent. Why is everybody here so mean. nobody cares about the students and what about last year. they said you couldnt go to the bathroom because someone was abusing substances ??? Then i witnessed 36 fights in 6th grade. Im concerned

I requested a zone transfer 2 Cadwallader. I spoke with the principal at Cadwallader in June and she said there WAS enough room for my son to come to school. I went into the lied office to get a zone transfer signed. Was greeted by a black lady. Asked to speak with the principal. She said the principal was not in. I asked to make an appointment she said she could not make the appointment. I would have to come back in August. I came back in aug. and made an appointment. With the principal secretary. At the appointment who turned out to be the principal but the black lady that greeted me in the office the first time. I was shocked. Why would a principal of a school not identify herself and just say Im sorry youll have to make an appointment in August. The day I made the apt with lied my son and I again went to cab Wilder and spoke with the principal. She assured me there was room in Cadwallader for Bobby to still come My son was with me. The appointment with lead was two days later. At this appointment not only was the black lady the principal. She then told me and my son that the principal at Cadwallader had said there was no room for Bobby to go to that school. Another lie. I told her I had just spoke with her less than 48 hours ago and could not believe that she had changed her mind. My son even agreed and said no she told me I could go to that school. The principal then said that this was not true. I said I would go talk to the principal at Cadwallader as I could not believe that she would just say that in front of me and my son and not mean it. The lead principal Mr bass then stated that regardless she was not going to sign his own transfer. I am blown away by this!!! I cannot see sending my kid to lead with the principle that has already lied to me and him. How can I tell him to respect authority figure that has flat out lied. I remember middle school not being fun this is ridiculous.

This our second year at Lied Middle School, my son started at this school in the middle of 6th grade and everything was fine. We didnt have problems in 6th grade until now that hes in 7th grade, I am not happy with the Math teacher or the 7th grade counselor. My son is very quiet keeps to himself but it seems to me that they want to label my child instead of trying to figure the source of him not passing some of the classes. They called my child lazy and saying that hes choosing to fail and that is not true. My husband and I are military and we can not wait for our son to finish out the rest of this year, anybody whos going to start there child at Lied Middle school please investigate do your research because if I had known this is how my child would be treated I wouldnt of put there at that school. My also got a D.S.R for not having a pencil and I didnt get know phone call about that situation and if your child gets one of those D.S.Rs it does not come there record it follows them for the rest of the school year. So needless to say Lied Middle school sucks and there never on the parent side they take the teachers side and you dont ever hear from the Principle.

Lied middle school is by far the best school ive been to..they let us finish lunch but if the bell rings u have to het to class or else if ur late u get something called a d.s.r ..no body I know does drugs I trusst lits of kids but teachers dont..t.b.h there are some fights but the people who get into fights are suspended..I think this is an awesome scho

As a former student of Lied Middle School, I can honestly say that it is one of the worst schools I have ever been to.Lied is no stranger to drug use or violence, and often times, students find themselves as victims/aggressors of bullying. The education is very poor, as is the overall morale of teachers, staff members, and students.

Bad and bully’s and the kids seem like they are from the movie MEAN GIRLS. Like for real.
