Wow! New Bridge Middle School is such a fantastic place to be and thrive. I love waking up every weekday to see my friends and welcome them with a big smile. When I walk to my homeroom, I see my amazing teacher and she/he asks how your morning is. I am so grateful and happy to be present in this magical school and I hope that you will be too! I love this school! Apart from not much communication to parents, it is great! All the bad reviews are not true. Everything is great here. Even though we have a dress code and uniform, it makes it better and easier! This is my school and Im proud. Like our phrase:BEARS HAVE PRIDE!!!!!!!! 🐻

I think this school is great ! These bad reviews are lies, the uniform thing is o.k. I guess. Still some kids get picked on like any other school! Sixth grade halls are fine dont smell bad at all maybe a cockroach and there like every few months not. And got to think this building is very old. Has very good teachers and sports coaches.

Dont believe all the bad reviews. The dress code is because they like to reduce bullying and the school is very sanitary. The fights may just be a few students and the teachers are great. Im a student so take my word for it, this is an awesome school that I love.

Good education and teachers. Its very fun to be at :). Im happy I came here. Dont listen to all the bad reviews. Theyre not true. The hallways dont really smell bad and your kid getting bad education isnt probably the teachers fault. It might be your kids. Our teachers are kind and really care about our safety. :).

The only uniform school in the district. They didn’t receive my son’s 504 from another school in the district resulting in my son having an altercation that should never have happened. The other school sent it over but they did t open it to read it

The staff is really nice and the Gym is huge and the floors and very shiny, This school has get education. The unicorns are not that bad. New Bridge is a great school..GO BEARS!

I am an 8th grader at New Bridge and I can agree with some of the complaints but really though my name is tori but my real name is Victoria and some kids were calling me Victoria and I was telling them to shut up and they wouldnt the teacher just sat there and basically its an alternate reality, The school is actually haunted for those of you who are wondering if you get scared easily I suggest not reading the ghost story and people will tell you that the school was a jail. Its not my dad went there when it was Jacksonville Junior High and the field goal post used to be where the flagpoles are now so thats why there are bar imprints in the bathrooms.

My daughter had a great experience at NBMS. She has a physical disability and they were very accommodating and kept her caught up with her school work after she had her surgery. The other kids would help her with her backpack or hold the door for her. If affording uniforms is an issue, they have a closet with uniforms that they sell for cheap or free. Like most kids, my daughter didnt like the uniforms, but at the sametime it made life easier.

My child comes home crying everyday. This school is so unorganized. Teachers tell my kid daily how she will not succeed. My child is UNhappy. This school is wild. Children kicking and getting physical to other student. Staff not able to control their children.

I am a former student of New Bridge and my younger sister attends now. I absolutely loved the school and it was a huge turning point in my life. I entered being an out of shape, introvert nerd who had no friends. Three years later, I am years ahead of other kids in my grade, I started to act, learned Euphonium, began my acting career, got in shape to the point where I am one of the top XC runners in NC. But most importantly, the friendships that I made are as strong as ever. I highly recommend this school, and yes their will still be a crappy teacher or two, and bullies, but that is life. Learning to live with people you do not get along with. But for every bully, for every bad teacher, their will be another friend, and a role model who will inspire you. Thank you for taking this into consideration, and remember, at New Bridge Middle, BEARS HAVE PRIDE.

Nice staff, great education system. My only complaint is the Uniform Code.

All the teachers do is take up for each other they dont even care about the children
