The word of God was preached today without apology. John chapter 3, verse 7. You MUST be born again. The world is not divided by race, financial status nor anything else you can think of. The only true division that Will affect you eternally is the wilful act of being born again or not being born again.

I give this school a 2 star and here’s why. I have noticed the same patterns with different teachers. My daughter will turn her homework in and when I check renweb there will be zeros!! Not just 1 zero but 4-5 zeros in a row. I don’t receive any communication from the teacher to notify me that my A student is now failing. As a parent I sit with my child every night at the table while she does her homework. So, I know it is completed and she understands it. I save every piece of graded paper sent home now since we’ve experienced this problem. I send the teacher an email notifying her the grade is incorrect with the homework attached. I feel like if I have to double triple check a teacher there’s a problem. If I wasn’t the parent that checked everything my child would be failing due to the INCOMPETENCE of the teachers. I’m sure there are kids failing if I’m having this problem. What are the consequences for the teacher making mistakes. So, quick to put in zeros it’s unbelievable!! This school will FAIL your child without thinking twice and it’s not even your child’s fault!! I just can’t believe that a Christian school would see a student failing and make no communication to the parent to try to find out what is happening. Probably because the reason is the teacher! If your child attends this school make sure your ready to keeps files and double check the people your child call teachers!

This is an excellent school. My son is in Kindergarten, and not only has he learned reading, writing, and basic addition and subtraction, he is learning to write in cursive. The classroom sizes are small. The teacher and staff regularly keep us updated on his status and what areas he could use improvement on. We have had him going since VPK and we have enrolled him for the 1st grade.

Located on the Westside of Jacksonville. Beautiful facilities with friendly staff and members. Worship is mostly on the traditional side although a few mellowed down contemporary tunes can be heard from time to time. Good place to come worship and fellowship.

Love love love that school! Teachers and staff are amazing and really care for the kids! Would recommend to anyone. I went there a few years, I wish I would have stayed instead of transferring to a public school. Dumb on my part. Now I get to see my kids grow up there.

Please read before choosing to send your child to this school. I waited 2 years to write this review. However, if I had believed the reviews that I read about this school, I would have saved myself and my son lots of frustration, disappointment and heartache.I sent my son to FCCS for VPK-3. He had just turned 3 years of age.As most young boys, he was full of energy, very inquisitive, and exhibited leadership abilities early on. However, this school made my son appear as if he was the WORST child ever.I LITERALLY received a call daily about my son for either running on the playground, taking to others, playing at the water fountain... and... the really bad thing... stepping outside of the single-file line. My child only remained at FCCS for a few short weeks. My child DID NOT kick, scream, bite, fight, throw tantrums, throw food or anything else worthy of the amount of calls that I received about his behavior... He literally played at the water fountain and stepped out of line... at age 3! FCCS, what a horrible child!Oh my God! I was horrified thinking about how my normally well behaved son was mistreating the teachers, when he was not in my presence. No other childcare centers has complained about his behavior. Remind you, my son had just turned 3!And, meetings with the teachers, staff, and administrators did not help. I directly asked if my child had an issue - or - if the teacher/school had an issue with educating active boys -- who did not act like girls... Boys needed to be active learners. Ultimately, they told me that they would not alter their standards for my child. It was obvious that my child did not fit into their box of how a 3 year old child should behave in VPK-3, so I transferred him to another school, without a religious affiliation. So, after a month of tears and unnecessary punishments, I took my son to another school.Guess what? My sons new school incorporated play into their VPK-3 classes. My son was immediately recognized as being a gifted and respectful student! This school encouraged his inquisitiveness, and he flourished.Guess what else? My son did so well on his VPK (age 4) assessments that again I was told that he should be in the gifted program.** Now, this is the reason I waited 2 years to write this review.... **At the end of Kindergarten, my son completed the required testing for the intellectually gifted program at Duval County Public Schools. So, yes, my soon to be 6 year old will begin first grade as a GIFTED student! Imagine what would have happened to his intellectual abilities had he remained at FCCS.I said all of that to WARN parents about FCCS!!!! If you are raising a leader, who can think critically and independently, PLEASE do not send your child to FCCS. If you are raising a future leader with Kingdom purposes, do not send your child to FCCS. How will your child compete in a global economy when the school cant handle a 3 year old who runs on a playground??Find a school who appreciates diversity and cultivates your childs uniqueness. If you are looking for a Christian experience, supplement your childs education with bible study and vacation bible school. Lets raise bold kids who love Christ, but who can also think outside of the box.. and are not penalized for doing so!God Speed,-The Mother of a Gifted Child
