Home of KENNY ROGERS! Any school that hosted Kenny deserves 5 stars! Dream big youngsters, and dont let any teachers with mediocre minds deter you from living a life above the norm. Kenny did, and so can you! Defy those who have accepted a life of mediocrity!

Northside High is an outstanding school considering it isnt in the safest neighborhood. They always do their best to make sure kids get home safe. Granted, the school is a bit over populated and it is a bothersome to get from one class to another. However, that is the price of being a well know high school.

Well despite Keiaras reply, Jeff Davis is a pretty old school in a pretty rough neighborhood but its extremely close to downtown Houston and its one of the most Best and historic high schools within HISD.Im a former employee with HISD and can attest that the district is extremely wasteful with their money and schools like Jeff Davis suffer because of this fact. Board members like Jolanda Jones will tell you that theres no funding for poor schools because of the rich white vanguard schools in River Oaks, but truthfully HISDs student body is only like 5% white. The real reason HISD is broke is because they use and trash technology before its life has truly ended, they hire 10 employees in a department that only needs 5, they pay multiple administrators per school over $100,000 (back in my day we needed 1 principle and one vice) and finally, board members like Jolanda Jones find it cost effective to blow millions of dollars to change school names because todays snowflake (like Keiara) are too triggered to go into a building thats named after a man from 180 years ago, despite the fact that the school has held that name for 100 years and has been in the same neighborhood with the same residents for just as long.I enjoyed working at Jeff Davis when sent there because of the history, but Ill never refer to it as Northside High.
