I am an 09 grad this school is excellent I attended all 4 years & every year I had 2-3 teacher that genuinely cared & helpful when you dont understand something. Great school

Lacks accountability for staff and school leadership.Heavy politics...be ready to play the game if you want your kid to receive the most benefit. Otherwise, it is the favored few (connected parents, children of faculty and staff, etc.)As of today, kids and parents are still waiting to receive the yearbook from LAST year! We have been told that it has been a printing issue....for a whole year! Ridiculousness is an understatement.If you are able to choose another school do so!

The band is life! And unique people. Only negative comment-Dont like most teachers and a lot of bad students.

During the 3 years I covered HS sport for the Chronicle, I spent MANY hours out at Cy Falls, both during school hours and afterwards. I encountered dozens of staff and hundreds of students on a regular basis, just as I did with numerous other schools (I think I covered 45 or so public and private schools), and even so, Cy Falls sticks out.The principal, Becky Denton, is one of the warmest and most engaged administrators Ive ever met, and the commitment to excellence flows from the top down. They hire really, really well and there is a legitimate culture in place that I simply did not, and do not, see at other secondary schools. Their varsity athletes were as committed to their studies and grades as any I ran across in years of talking to student athletes.I cant say enough good things about this school. Theres not a bad school in CFISD, but if theres a best one, Cy Falls might be it.

+3 stars for their strong fine arts programs and school spirit-2 stars because they cheated Creek out of playoffs

The staff is horrible!! Went as a concerned parent to talk to the ap. And no would assist me. The girl at the front desk was not helpful. The aps secretary was rude and refused to have a private conversation with me regarding my son. I am a very disappointed parent. If there was an EMERGENCY im sure the admin staff would have appeared. They refused to allow me to speak to any other admin staff. It is really sad.

Its an OK school. The student population is VERY diverse and the teachers are friendly

Its a good school but the system is bad with the APs one AP that should not be working there is Zimmerman he treats students and scream to them and wen is a problem he dont even check at the cameras for see the problem i went one day to DMC for something that i dont did and i tell him check the cameras and he dont do anything and he was treating me to call immigration on me and and my family and he was screaming to me were do i born but i doesnt speak English at that time so i don know what was born and he ask me the same question a lot of times into somebody translate me what he said and i tell him Houston but he call immigration and he investigated about me but he cannot do nothing because i born here and my parents have passport and they dont work.Another story is i have a problem with Zimmerman so he give me one day of suspension and i said ok no problem but you was the one in make the problem and he try to call my father but he doesnt have his number but he was lying because in the system they have the phone number and he told me ok call you father and i told him i dont know his number but i can check in my phone and he started to screaming and he said ok do it now so we went to the Secretary office to give her the number of my father from my phone and she said give me you phone to see the number and i tell her i spell it for you and he said give me you phone now you will have 3 days of suspension and make a reference about me with lyes Then he started to make me bulling and tread me to give me the hold year in DMC or suspension wen cant do it

Cyfalls is the best school in the world im the class of 2016 and i went to Labay Ms and i have always wanted to go to school there and i have to say we have the best high school in the world theres a great diversity there and alot of great people even in band everyone there is great and welcomeing and nice and we have one of the best bands in the disterict also im in Concert 2 but for uil season im in concert 3 Go Golden Eagles fight fight fight c u nxt year :]

It was the Head Football Coach...Just witnessed the Head Varsity Football Coach and Security Gaurd force a kid to take off his shorts and walk home in his underwear after the football game tonight. The kid was horseplaying and the Coach got upset and told the kid that he was wearing CyFalls shorts and he wanted them now. The kid responded that he would bring the short to school on tomorrow. The coach then told the kid that he would get the gaurd to make him take them off. The coach then went and got the gaurd and took the kid into the building. The boy came out in his underwear and walked home. This was witnessed by several parents who protested the incident. The security gaurd said, I am only doing my job. This was a clear case of bullying by the coach and he crossed the line!!!!!! This is really sad that this type of behavior is allowed- student health and safety should be first- not football.
