A $4 cut became $7 when I asked for someone with some experience. I dont have a lot of confidence that my student actually had much experience. The instructor probably did half of the haircut but when its all said and done I probably got decent value for my money. Everyone was friendly. The background music was rap. That certainly is not my thing. But it may be yours.

I just want to take the time to thank the staff teachers. For giving great service and giving me the best haircut.

Would recommend this place for all ages. My son what you call swirls in his hair so at times it can be challenging for some to cut. The student name was William and he did a good job and made sure to ask was there any imperfections. His teacher which names starts with a L, I believe Lorenzo can over and assist him and showed him new techniques in a positive way. The reason I say that is because I have seen where people try to assist but kinda put the student down. Also very affordable if funds are low. Keep up the awesome work guys.

If you’re looking to be a barber this is a great school. It’s not much to the eye, but they have everything you need and the knowledge you need to know. My time there was extremely beneficial. David the owner has a lot on his plate and some how still has time to help you or find some one to help you. The instructors he hires are motivated and insightful. I actually looked forward to going to school everyday.

I made the best decision by choosing Houston Barber School. My experience here has been great. David is an awesome Director and Instructor.He makes sure the school is running well and puts the students learning over everything else. He will definitely make sure you learn to cut and pass the state board exam. Great school and excellent staff.

My 6 year old brother came here to get his haircut by Demetrious and he did a phenomenal job. I will definently recommend him. He was very patient and had great communication skills.

Yesterday i visited this school and was really surprised by the professionalism at this place. I mean everyone from the owner to the students made us feel welcome and kept us feeling glad to be there. I have gone to other barber schools before and they were loud, ghetto, and unprofessional. This school was so beautiful, we have gone to barber colleges before and none of the have looked this good. The student and the instructor were very professional and patient with my son. The environment was fun and relaxing and we will definitely be coming back.

Everyone was very organized and the facility is clean. Took my boys. Their cuts were only $3 and were done very well. Will be going back. Thank you.

I like this place. They were able to get me in and out in no time. I only paid 3 dollars for a cut and it was better than what I had been getting at a regular barbershop. I will be back and Im going to bring my brothers with me next time.

Had an awful experience, do not get your hair cut here if you value your image. Took me 1 hour and my boyfriend 2 hours to get horrible haircuts that we immediately had to have fixed by another salon. Do NOT go here, from what I gathered they teach each other and are not learning from an actual instructor.

Very disorganized and descriminate. Sat there for more than an hour without being called while taking people who came after me. I asked one of the student if hes ready for a cut but was told he was ready to leave. A guy of his race walked in and he approached him and asked if he needs a cut..terrible,I Just walked out.

Horrible experience, I went in for a fade but left with a freaking bald fade!!!!!! 😡👹
