The best barber school in Houston. Excellent instructors. The environment is like family. I love the school.

A most affordable, laid back, cool experience thanks to the staff and manager on duty who allowed me to bring my chihuahua in his carrier out of the extremely heated car while I receive a trim. Chavez the student in training did an excellent, detailed job on my hair. I do wish him success upon graduation working out in the 1960/Spring area when its his time to move on. Cheers!!!

They get you in and out at a good time. The student barbers do a good job. Always willing to ask you if its how you want it. You leave looking good for a steal of a price.

These guys are very timid with me because Im balding in a big way buy that seems like the time to practice and take risks. Most have experience and Ive only had one meh cut out of 8 so the price is very right. Bring cash, $1 fee for card with no space to leave a tip. Nice environment.

My son got his first haircut in 3 years here. They did a wonderful job and were very patient with him. We will be returning.

First of all great environment, I am always welcomed and the students are very skillful. Honestly, premier is the place to get great service and a great quality haircut.

Where else can you find a haircut for $5. They greet you and the students cut fairly well with little supervision. The instructors dont micro manage the students, which Im sure makes them feel good and comfortable but I do wish they were supervised more just to add a few pointers here and there can make a big difference in the ending results. I usually have to ask for the instructor for advice to their student. They usually dont mind doing that. My first impression of the shop was there was pretty laid back, and seeing the money go into pockets instead of a register I thought was a little unprofessional but to eaches own no biggie. People do certain things for a reason and you have to respect how different people run their business. Then I realized they were the owner is why. You may hear grown up discussions and or debates. You may hear cursing. You may even hear what sounds like an argument from time to time but its all barbershop talk really. Depends on how a person looks at it. You have to know and be around this type in order to understand it. Otherwise, you would think the atmosphere was just ghetto. I never see them learning by book but Im sure there are times they do that. It just seems there style of learning is mainly by doing. Im an observer so pretty certain about whats going on here. Moreover, the students are very respectfully and the owner does try to manage the tone for the respect of their customers so that is a plus! I always try to give $2-$5 tip because the prices are so low and its worth it.

There was a guy lifting dumbbells and drinking creatine with his barber outfit on when he was suppose to be learning how to cut hair.. then there was a another guy in the corner who was blasting music freestyling instead of cutting hair with his barber outfit on. Lastly there was a group of like 3 in the back all chatting while the wait line had more than 5 of us..I’m not sure what this operation even was?.. I thought in my mind.. “isn’t this a barber college? Or recess?, Where am I?” I saw so much off stuff I totally questioned the existence of this entire place. I figured I could go put on a barber outfit and walk around and pretend to be an employee and no one would notice. 🤔

This is the only Barber College I recommend! If you’re trying to get a premier cut, pull up to Premier Barber College! Best on the Northside! HANDS DOWN! I guarantee it!

Worse place ever in all honesty to get a haircut. When you enter you sign your name and you must give 5$ first before getting haircut. I dont see much of a problem with that cause most places you pay after you get haircut but what if they mess up your hair? What a waste of 5$ not a big deal but its still money. The people here are so ratchet and ghetto my god I will never go back here ever again. My haircut took about 2 hours and yes dont go here but if you ghetto go here then and if you honestly dgaf bout it then go. But if you are do go elsewhere. Otherwise feel free to go anywhere you want. Haha lol aint nobody got time for dat!

One star cause I can’t give 0. Came all the way from Katy and they can’t take us cause they’re cleaning there stations already. So you don’t close at 5, you close at 4:30. Waste of time.
