We love Sloan School of Music! My daughter has been taking guitar lessons there for the last 5 months. She has an incredible teacher (Anthony), who she admires, and gets to play the songs she loves. They really are dedicated to helping kids not only understand, but fall in love with music and build the confidence to perform. I really can’t say enough good things about the people, the atmosphere/vibe, the prices and the convenience. 5 stars.

Sloan school of music is incredible! Finally I have a space I can go for all my musical needs. If you have kids, you can easily sit and relax while they have a lesson.

This is a new music store and school that just opened up. Their grand opening is actually October 3rd, 2020. There arent a lot of good music stores in the area so the competition is slim. Sloan is family owned and they have very competitive prices. Unlike other stores that Ive heard about ripping people off, Sloan is extremely honest with great prices and amazing staff. More importantly, they have quality instruments and equipment. Im not familiar with the instruction side at the school, but Ive heard great things. This is my go to store for everything music related. If they dont have something, theyll order it for you. And the staff treats me like Im a V.I.P. every time I visit. Since Sloans soft opening a few weeks ago,, I refuse to go anywhere else. I highly recommend Sloan School of Music. The best music store in town!

Very friendly and professional staff. Brought my guitar in to be worked on and Jeff went above and beyond to make it substantially better in playability and sound- for a great price. Also, he finished it the same day I brought it in, which I can say has never happened at any other music store in my experience. Highly recommend.

Our son has been taking drum lessons with Bailey for over a year. He’s a wonderful teacher. Very patient, calm and incredibly flexible with our crazy at times schedule. My older son tried taking lessons from another establishment in town and he didn’t even last three months. I can’t say enough good things about Bailey and I would highly recommend taking lessons here. You will not be disappointed.

As a student of Mr. Anthony’s for more than nine years, I can say first hand what a top notch professional he is. He has worked with me from an 8 year old beginner and kept me not only interested in learning guitar but also taught me an appreciation for all things music. Thumbs up all around.

Drove over an hour away today to test drive a Bad Cat amp (fantastic amp by the way) and was provided top of the line service! I gave them a heads up I was coming and they had the amp in a private room with a selection of pedals, premium picks, and a guitar all ready to go! Despite being over an hour away, I definitely plan to come back and test out some more of the Earthquaker devices and Snake oil pedals they stock. Highly recommend Sloan!!

I have had nothing but a positive experience with the instructors and owners of Sloan School of Music. They go above and beyond when it comes to being professional and are so good with my four boys as music instructors. They personally delivered instruments in top quality condition to my home in the midst of COVID restrictions and are quick to fix any problems that arise. I recently enrolled my child in guitar classes with Anthony at Sloan School of Music and was originally apprehensive about the idea of online classes. Luckily, my son was assigned an amazing instructor (thanks Anthony!). I’ve never seen my child so excited about guitar, and his excitement in sharing what he’s learned about music with me. Sloan School of Music has completely surpassed my expectations and given my kid a new hobby during quarantine. They really have virtual lessons figured out!

This new school of music is taking health and safety in the time of COVID-19 serious. Theyre offering online lessons on multiple platforms, are super flexible and make scheduling easy. Cant wait for in-person lessons to begin in the LARGE private music rooms. Physical distancing no problem!

Talk about a business that has it all!!! You can buy instruments here and get your kid music lessons. I enjoy the service and how the business managers will bring me instruments even though they’re not open yet. They do zoom lessons for the kiddies because of COVID, and I love that. I don’t have to drive them there and worry about them getting sick and they’re still learning how to play their instruments! 10/10 would recommend this fine establishment.
