Literally called customer service to set me up with a class only to be suggested a class I wasn’t suppose to be taking. I emailed this explaining I’m a new rider but I passed my written test because of that I was informed to take the intermediate class in which I failed due to misconception of me being an experienced rider I was early passed my fifth time written and asked customer service if I should take a warm up before the test . In which I was told I should not also most of the all in one beginning classes seem to never be available since they do not operate small classes as I was told. 200 dollars later and I have to take the course again. Literally when I asked to be placed in a beginner course.

If I could give a negative review I would. My son has been canceled for 4 drive times when it takes a month to just get one drive time. We paid for this course over a year ago and he still does not have a drivers license. This has been extremely frustrating as we now have moved away from Mukilteo and the only options to complete the course are during school hours. When trying to communicate this issue, there has not been a viable solution offered. Super disappointing.

WMST- you can thank my examiner, Dani, for the 5 stars! I was a little nervous about the skills test but Dani was remarkably calm and clear about the maneuvers that I would be tested on and what I should/ should not do during the test. I felt much more relaxed by the time we entered the vehicle..Having received a passing score, my next step was to schedule an appointment at the DOL to get my picture taken. I dreaded this, knowing that appointment availability at any location right now is extremely limited. And I probably would have just gone that route if she had not told it might be worth stopping in @ the DOL down the road to see if they would take me as a walk-in. It paid off! They let me in and I was able to get my temporary driver license just 20 minutes after testing! I cant thank you enough for the time you saved me. It feels great to finally be a legitimate driver! Give this woman a raise; shes wonderful!

I took the Permit Qualifying Beginner Course this past weekend. I feel like classes like this always say beginner but never really are, this one was and it was perfect. I had some experience but not enough to move me out of the beginner category. The instructors Misha and Doug were amazing and communicated very well. The class seemed to be a range of never being on a motorcycle at all to maybe some parking lot experience. Misha and Doug did a great job. I felt like I got great immediate feed back and coaching the whole time and left feeling 100% more confident in my skills. I wasnt going to sign up for anymore classes but after taking this one and learning so much I am going to take a few more and build on my skills. Thanks Misha and Doug for the great weekend!

I work as a Last Responders and I keep getting cut off and watch your drivers weave in and out of traffic constantly with no awareness of what is happening around them, racing thru the streets. Watched a driver today almost cause an accident at Broadway/5 south on ramp entrance in Everett. As someone who drive a hearse for a living, I guess thanks for the guaranteed job security with how you instructors drive I can only imagine your students.

Motorcycle permit beginners class and exam: It was super hot out, everyone was clearly exhausted and irritable. The staff instructors were very unhelpful to anyone that was having difficulty. The day was expedited so everyone could go home early. So much talk about statistically lowering your chances of death by taking the class, but this felt extremely unsafe to move at an expedited pace for the sake of momentary comfort. Somehow it takes weeks to learn to drive a car but I’m supposed to be a safe motorcyclist with less than 10 hours on a bike? One of the instructors even pulled me aside and told me “this bike thing might not be for you.” How does that inspire confidence in someone that’s never touched a bike?Get practice any way you can before registering for a class; these people will have you feeling both robbed and expeditiously headed towards death on a bike.

FRAUDS !DO NOT COME HERE I just took a drivers exam with the instructor Cherie today, and she did the math incorrectly on my exam and wrote 78% when it was actually 79.46% or 79% however, when Discussing what I got wrong she said that I lost points because I didn’t turn right on a red and the law says you don’t have to turn right on red but only that you can Her response to that was Washington state law suggests it in order to lessen traffic congestion however there was no one behind me and I wasn’t holding up traffic in anyway. she also said I lost points because after I changed into the right lane as instructed, I turned the blinker off, but after she instructed to take the next right, as it was less than 100 feet from the turn, I turned my blinker back on. After I explained this, she said, “well, it doesn’t matter that would only give you another two points.” And refused to add them to my score. She also took points off for going 17 mph around an uphill sharp turn in a residential area with no posted speed limit, saying because I didn’t go 25mph (the standard town speed limit for wa) that I was going too slow. Again; ON AN UPHILL SHARP CURVE. That’s ridiculous regardless of the fact that the law says that you’re only going too slow if you’re impeding traffic. There was nobody behind me so I wasn’t impeding traffic plus it’s speed LIMIT not speed minimum. Plus taking all the general driving performance points off my test for one small curve in the road is ridiculous. Not to mention with parallel parking they tell you to just imagine a car one and a half lengths behind you?? They’re so cheap they can’t even spring for traffic cones? Also while I was taking my written exam I overheard her and a coworker say to add on another written exam even though there was less than a half hour left of exam time because “it’s money right, and that’s my job, to make us more money” that’s verbatim!! From what I see here I’m not the only one that this instructor has unfairly taken points off tests in order to fail people. Cherie was incredibly rude to me for absolutely no reason and unfairly and knowing it was wrong failed my exam and when I tried to call afterwards to ask about it the secretary lied and said I called the wrong location and it was the other location I took my exam at before I even gave her my name? The secretary refused to give me anyone in a place of power direct contact information and refused to let me talk to the exam driver also. She immediately had a tone with me as soon as she picked the phone up and another review on Yelp said 3 weeks ago tests were $50 but I paid $65 for mine that’s a pretty steep inflation for such blatantly fraudulent practices.

Keith Mccormick was not the brightest of instructors. Rather than focusing on developing my road skills, he opted to defile my personality. One might think an introductory drive would entail at least a fraction of hospitality, but Keith either didn’t get the memo or didn’t care. Besides his undesirable personality, his instructive practices proved to be ineffective, with most of his instructions making little sense, causing for great confusion on the road. While the latter could be ascribed to my lack of experience on the road, such certainly does not excuse Keith’s inconsiderate remarks against my driving and my character.

LOST $200 . No understanding. NO Respect.I signed up for my Endorsement class on their website. When registering for the class, the website confirmation gave me the same class details indicating the Everett location I’ve attended to for my permit . I show up and it was CLOSED. I call all the phone numbers . NO picking UP . I go to another location . Also closed . I RUSh to the Range . Finally a nice instructor (Troy) sees me and I explained the situation. Turns out they now do the class on zoom which was explained in the SECOND paragraph of a RECEIPT that arrived in my JUNK Mail .I sat in the 70 degree weather at the range regardless. And tried logged into zoom . I got in and NO AUDIO. Kept trying for 30mins until I was removed from the zoom meeting . Troy saw how hard I attempted to rectify the situation regardless of all the COVID regulation changes that clearly wasn’t clearly and upfront-communicated on their website (which I believe should a VIOLATION of consumer rights protection) . Troy tried his best to communicate and vouche for me.I make 15 phone calls and no picking up . I finally show up to the main office . They print the receipt email and tell me “we’re sorry, but you missed your class and that’s much like a plane ticket..” .flight companies in this covid circumstances are understanding of the situation even when they have spent the money to update all their sites accordingly...Long story short . I signed up for a class they wouldn’t let me attend with 25mins delay for complete communication difficulties that were out of my control . They don’t let me attend AND they don’t let me reschedule.I’m very disappointed...

Overview: I just finished my Basic Riders Course (BRC) today, and it was an outstanding experience. Background: Basically, I came in loving the idea of riding a motorcycle but without any practical experience. The only time I’ve been on a motorcycle was as a passenger as young kid (age 3-6; hey, it was the 80s).The Instructor: Our instructor, Kevin, was amazing. He was so patient, gave excellent feedback, and coached me into feeling confident on a motorcycle. He gave many examples of real experiences he has had, and he helped me develop a healthy appreciation and respect for all the technical details of riding as well as the potential risks/hazards. He has much wisdom to share, and he also has a great sense of humor. The Course: Wow! There is much I could share, but I’ll try to keep it (relatively) short. After the first classroom session and riding session, I wondered if I would ever get the hang of the clutch, brake, throttle, balance, but Kevin was so patient! Today, I was riding over obstacles (like 2x4s), doing emergency swerves and short stops, and feeling confident about it! That is how much this course helped me grow in a matter of a couple of days. Also, I appreciated how we integrated what we learned in the classroom into the exercises we did in the riding sessions. Finally, another fantastic thing was that Kevin demonstrated every exercise and gave tips on how to be effective in their execution.Permit Tests: Like most people, I get nervous for tests. However, by the time we got to the “make it or break it” tests, I felt confident in the maneuvers but also recognized that, should I not be able to perform them to the standards set, they would have been right to not give me a permit for my own safety! The written test was mostly common sense but did include a number of technical questions, so read that manual outside of class and listen carefully during class!Summary: For me, this was such a positive experience that I plan to return to take more classes, even before going for my endorsement. I trust Kevin and WMST to put safety first and help me develop the necessary skills to be a safe and conscientious rider. Thus, I highly recommend both the company and their BRC course! Oh, and if you happen to take a course in rainy (and cold) January like me, wear as many layers as you possibly can and be sure at least one is waterproof!

I took 1.5 classes here and I have mixed feelings. I would have given it less stars if not for the Kickstarter class with Chris. He is a good instructor and he knows how to teach absolute beginners. The second basic rider class however was a different story. I was sure I was doing ok just to find out I am being kicked out after I failed a certain exercise. I was told I was a danger to myself and was just about to crush. Ok, its understandable, but why nobody stopped me in the middle of the exercise as I was a danger to myself and others? I had to finish the whole exercise just to find out I was about to crash badly. WOW! I had no idea I was doing that bad during the exercise other that going too slow and they did signaled me to speed up. I think since it is a class for an absolute beginner they should take a little more time and attention and if seeing someone is doing something wrong to tell them that before they complete the whole exercise and maybe give them a chance to correct the mistake. Overall I think if you are absolute beginner and want to gain confidence in riding a motorcycle, a beginner class at this school is not the right class for you. Its a fast paced and stressful class. If you arent catching up with the group you will be kicked out without a chance to correct the mistake (no refund BTW). Eventually I got my permit with 0 points on the test (tested at another school) after practicing for couple of weeks at the parking lot watching some YouTube videos. If you have your own bike Id say go practice on the parking lot and youll pass the test stress free and save some money. Id probably take the advanced or street riding class there, but I wouldnt recommend the beginner class.

I took the drivers ED course with Bill during the summer at Jackson highschool and he was an excellent teacher. He made drivers ED fun and interesting (he also brought pizza once a week). Because of Bill I was able to pass both my written and drive test with a score in the high 90s! The test administrator Cheri that I had for both my written and drive test was very friendly and encouraging.

3 reasons why this place is great:Its a walk-in testing center with very little wait time so it is very convenientBoth the instructor and the receptionist were nice and extremely helpfulAs long as you have read the drivers handbook and practiced driving, both the written and the drive tests are relatively easy to pass unlike other testing facilities where they throw questions at you that youve never even seen in a handbook nor were taught at any driving school

The best driving school hands down. The instructors acknowledge students strengths and weaknesses and guide them to reach full potential by the end of the course. They consistently turn teen drivers who have never sat behind the wheel into smart, confident, safe drivers on the road. Attending WMST will NOT be a decision you regret.

Do not treat their customers with respect. Especially if you appear younger of age. Would not recommend and would be better taking your classes at a different location

Question for WMSTHow many days to wait before you can retake a failed drive test?A friend took a drive test again after failing but she said the second test was more like a lesson than a test.and this time she was failed for not pulling up to a right position for a second stop to check for traffic after coming to a stop at a stop sign. She felt maybe she wasn’t suppose to take the test right after(being the following day).So I wonder if she was automatically failed the second time even before the test began. If so she wish that would have been communicated to her so she could have waited the appropriate days to retake.
