Both of the instructors with whom I practiced my driving skills were very competent; they handled any mistakes I made deftly without making the experience more stressful or dangerous.As an added bonus, they also provided intelligent conversation during the drives when it was safe to do so. They made the experience as good as it could be for someone who is naturally uncomfortable with driving.

***Please read***I had huge anxiety when I needed to drive. I have been avoiding it for too long. Then, I decided that I want to take some classes with the instructor. I wanted someone who has a lot of experience as a driver and also as an instructor. Instructor Glenn Williams was THE BEST EVER! He is so calm, helpful, and his knowledge made it so easy to pass the tests. I didn’t have any anxiety at any time when I drove with him. He thought me everything. Even the parallel parking with his tips became easier. Sometimes its better to pay for some classes to become a safe driver, then to practice with someone that we know. The classes are worth it and are affordable. Those people are specialized for these things. If you are an adult that needs to take the classes, or you need someone for your kid, you will not be sorry if you choose GLENN WILLIAMS!

Glen was amazing with my new teenage driver and gave him the confidence and skills to be a good driver. It has been especially hard during a pandemic for a teenager to learn how to drive. Glen quickly adapted the school/driving to a very safe environment and maintained the quality training.

Learning how to drive at this location and Glenn as my instructor really helped ease the nervousness I had about driving. I was unsure about my driving skills, but was able to get good guidance and felt much confident with my driving as time went by. I’m also very glad Glenn was my instructor as he was very patient and helped me a lot with driving!

Glen was our sons driving instructor throughout drivers ed and allowed me to observe on each drive. He was always prepared and on time, friendly, kind and respectful. His instruction was always calm, clear and informative. Corrections were made gently and compliments sincere. I am thankful he was our sons driving instructor and only wish he could instruct my younger daughter, as well.

They are doing really nice, unless we had some problems with the system cuz its old, but it wasnt so a big problem, My God Bless Them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was tentative about having my son complete the defensive driving course when COVID hit our community last spring. I appreciated that the course was being offered over Zoom and this allowed for not only safety but flexibility. I was more worried about the practice drives. I was nervous about my son being in a vehicle (small space) without a vaccination. I spoke with Glenn, the instructor at the North Everett office and was assured that the safety of the student and instructors were their first priority. He shared what the protocol was and I decided to allow my son to complete his practice drives in the late summer after completing the course. Unfortunately my son had to have several surgeries this fall and winter and was not able to take the knowledge and skills test until this past month. He completed both, again with Glenn, who remembered my son and spending the time to again answer all of my questions and address my concerns. He is an AMAZING person and cannot imagine a better instructor for defensive driving! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great driving instructor! Very strict, but in a good way. He has so much experience and it really shows. He had amazing methods of explaining key points, helped me learn a ton. Though driving lessons can be scary at first, he made me feel accepted at the skill level I was at, well at the same time pushing me to improve.

Glenn was my driving instructer and he was amazing, and professional. I have to say it was the first time that both of us had so many things go on during my test. One we had one guy passed out at the wheel and a few other cars just pulled right out in front of me however we handled it just fine and found some humar in our experience. Thank you Glenn. If you’re a beginner driver like I was then this is for you !. The drives I had was fun for something that was educational, special thanks to driving instructor Glenn Williams as he was just the best teacher I had in anything period.

Glenn Wlliams was a great driving instructor for my daughter. He gave encouragement when needed but was also very up front about all of the areas she needed to grow. At each driving lesson he focused on a particular area of driving. I like how he gave personal examples of people doing it wrong and the consequences of those actions. My daughter tends to be a bit scatter brained and he was very good at helping her learn the skill of scanning the roadway and being very aware of everything around her. I am so thankful my daughter got to learn to drive with this amazing driving instructor.

My experience of Defensive Driving School is with Glenn Williams, driving instructor. My granddaughter was his student. She is a very intelligent young woman who is a visual learner. Glenn was exceedingly patient and attentive to her learning style.Personally, I think he is one of the most courageous people I have ever met. It is obvious he cares about his students and their safety.

The instructor Glenn W taught me a lot about how to drive safely and was very patient with me. I was able to move up four classes by clicking the box to notify me with last minute openings. The classes were well worth the time and money.

My driving instructor Glen was truly exceptional. always explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and constantly encouraged and pushed me. His teaching style was compassionate and understanding. He has a great teaching style, which made learning easy. This culminated with me passing my practical test first time (with confidence).

Glen Williams is a fantastic driving instructor. He taught 3 of my boys to drive. They each left his class with skills that will last a lifetime. Make sure you call and double check they enter your driving score after waiting six weeks for my appointment at the DOL, I go in to find out I cant get my license because the driving school never entered my score. So now I have to reschedule and wait another month before I can get my license. It was heartbreaking.

I had Glenn for drivers ed and he’s an exceptional teacher, he created bonds with each of his students which makes it easy to drive with him and easy to approach and talk to. He’s great at explaining things when you are confused or don’t understand a topic, he has a fantastic sense of humor which never makes a class boring!

Kyle who teaches my online class is a legend, man deserves a raise. Put him in the DDS Hall of Fame. His only downside is that he likes pineapple on pizza. This is forgivable due to the fact he is a stud.

Glenn also made the class fun.We liked how you could schedule drives and tests through the website. I feel our student learned a lot of good safety tips that will benefit him for the rest of his life.

I chose this defensive driving school because of Glenn Williams. I read the reviews and had heard from others about him. I had looked at many other driving schools. I am so pleased with him as a person and as the instructor who has a passion for turning students, young new drivers into exceptional, safe drivers. He is encouraging and helps students who may not want to step into the drivers seat to gain confidence and skills through his instructional techniques and that encouragement. At first, my teen did not want to drive, but as Glen taught and gave encouragement and helped her to see she could do it, she changed and came to see she COULD do it. Well, its the end of drivers ed classes for my family. My last child of 3, has finished, and all 3 of them are excellent drivers!They all took classes with the Everett branch, and I am very happy with their skill, knowledge, and and understanding of driving. Today I passed my driving test and honestly it wouldnt have been possible without the guidance from Glenn Williams, the certified driving instructor at the Everett/Colby branch. He is patient, kind, professional and just a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor. He made it a goal to not only teach me safe, defensive driving but that I pass my test when he learned that its taken me years to build my confidence and take up driving. I highly recommend Glenn and Defensive Driving if you or your child is looking to get their license.

If I could, Id give this driving school more than 5 stars but, unfortunately, thats the review limit therefore leaving with with only 5 stars to give. Now, I could say something really sappy about my experience and Glen, the driving instructor, but that would probably be a bit over the top so this is what Im going to say: Glen is a great person to learn from, whether it be about the proper techniques to drive and stay safe on the road or from how to live; and I dont mean how to live as keeping a heartbeat and breathing (although thats the whole point of defensive driving) but how to live as doing what people deemed impossible. If you do end up going here, and Glen is still working as the instructor, listen to the stories he tells and pretty much everything he has to say because theres a lot to learn in only a small amount of time. Keep doing you G-Dawg.

The driving education was fine, but the reason for the low score was that my sons test scores were never uploaded to the DMV. After waiting several hours in line to get his license we learned that his test was not in the system. After 3 calls to Defensive Driving School they told us that the instructor was not available to upload his report and that we needed to take a picture of our copy and email it to them. After some searching, phone calls and an email, we were finally able to get my sons license.
