Ive thoroughly enjoyed my experience learning at this school. I feel much more confident in my ability to drive, and to pass the two tests so I can earn my full license. Mrs. Edwards has been a great teacher, both in the classroom and on the drives. I highly recommend this location and instructor for Safe2Go.

I am only giving it 5 stars because of Miss E. She is a patient and kind instructor. Everything else about this place seems very off. Like how they are only able to answer phone calls a few hours a day. And they dont test adults. Seriously? I took all my lessons here so I dont know whats up with that.

Elysia Edwards exceeded all of my expectations for drivers ed! Her classes are fun and engaging. She has nerves of steel and is always patient with me in the car even though I get a little crazy sometimes. Its obvious she cares about all of her students. SHE DESERVES A RAISE! I dont know her current salary but Im sure it doesnt match up with how awesome she is. Elysia is laid-back but gets things done. I plan on recommending her to anyone and everyone who needs to get a license.

You can not make driving test if you are not their student. Even if you are older than 18 year old. WA DOL gave permission to driving test permission but they are not taking driving test appointments if you are not their student. I teach my son and he is 18 years old and they do not take driving test appointment. I love old DMV test.

Elysia Edwards really knows how to get along with kids and make them feel less nervous. I was very nervous to join drivers ed because of how many times ive heard that the instructors are scary. Mrs. E was so supportive and she kindly taught you what you needed to know until you fully understood it. All of the students really liked her in my class. This woman deserves a promotion!! Seriously!! You wont be uncomfortable around her and you will come out of drivers ed having learned something. I reccomended this to my cousins. Im glad to have experienced drivers ed with the people in my class and with the instructor, and the environment was super nice as well!!

My son didnt get his license for over a year after our experience. After finishing up classes here, he took the written test twice. The first time he failed it because one of the questions on the test had been taught incorrectly in the classroom - every kid who took the test with him missed the same question. He failed by one question..... The second time, he failed on his own, but I couldnt help but think that hed be done if they hadnt taught misinformation because he would have passed the test the first time.We have experience with another driving school and I wish I hadnt gotten too lazy to drive my second child across the freeway to the other school. It was hands-down a far better experience. The drives at this 132nd Street location were not pleasant. My son came back beaten down every time. I had to listen to a list of complaints about my son from the instructor (they came off as complaints, not suggestions for improvement) and was scolded for not practicing enough between drives - even though we WERE practicing. They even refused to take him on the freeway drive because he said we werent practicing. My son was nervous about these drives because of the negativity in the car the minute he got in. I was FURIOUS every single time. I dont need to be scolded, thanks, Im a capable grown-up. The other schools driving instructors were positive and encouraging and wanted you to succeed. The two instructors he drove with at Safe2Go were negative and almost wanted to catch the kids failing. Attitude makes a HUGE difference in success when it comes to teenagers. If you show up with negativity, they will respond to it accordingly.Once we showed up for a drive and there was no instructor. We rescheduled but the instructor didnt get the message that a drive was scheduled so we showed up again and there was no instructor. We had to wait for the other instructor to finish his drive and stay for our drive. It was frustrating to have to waste the time.We finally contacted Defensive Driving (where I took my oldest son) and had him take his written and skills test with them. He passed both the first time. The driving instructor was positive and upbeat and even worked with us when we realized his permit had expired when we showed up for a brush-up drive.I kick myself for not going with another school. This was not a pleasant experience. I seemed to constantly be on the phone with the main office for the whole class session about one thing or another starting on day one when I went down to get his permit only to find out they hadnt transmitted the information to the DOL that he had registered for classes. The other school did it automatically on the correct day but somewhere I missed the info that I had to physically call Safe2Go and request it. I never saw it anywhere in the emails they sent me after registering - it only said I could go get his permit X days before the classes started. And, frankly, I never found the main office to be that friendly.
