I would highly recommend The Goddard school at Colorado Springs . The owners and the management are amazing and some of the best people I have known in my life. They know each child and the parents by their names. They followed COVID-19 Protocols very well and updated all families on new policies and procedures. I have personal experience with teachers and staff in the Monkey room where they emphasize sign language. The teachers help with separation anxiety when parents leave kids for their learning experience. I also commend the teachers and staff of the leopards classroom. The teacher is great, has been with the school for a very long time. I recommend The Goddard School of Colorado Springs to everyone.

Working with the children at this center has been a wonderful experience. As a teacher there I enjoy watching the children enjoy the activities that I create. I feel I have creative freedom when it comes to creating and implementing activities for the children. I also feel supported by management because if I want to plan something fun and exciting for the kids they will provide me with the materials I need. During my short time there I have received 2 raises and a bonus without even asking. I feel like my hard work and dedication gets noticed. I have also never been denied time off, but I do request and plan in advance for my days off. If I feel like I have something that bothers me I can go to management and the issues get addressed.

Both my kids have attended this Goddard School from the infant room to Pre-K and I have been very happy with my experience. The teachers have all been wonderful and although there have been hiccups when it came to turnover / teacher changes and ownership changes, I feel that they have always tried to give our children the best care possible. I have always felt safe and secure at the school and am grateful for how the school has done their best during the pandemic in trying to go above and beyond for the kiddos and parents. I loved getting the daily updates on how my kids were doing and getting to see all the activities they got to do at school. Thank you for taking such great care of my kids!

I am a former employee here. It looks great from the outside views but I do not recommend this place for employment. Not just I, but multiple former teachers have felt very taken advantage of, over worked, and under paid. There was constantly new enrollments but not enough staff, so everyone who was working got treated like dirt. There are many other daycares and preschools to work for, with appreciative bosses, and support. The owner refused to look my way the week I gave them notice of quitting, she only talked to me on my last day. She told me she didn’t need me for my last two weeks but was told by another manager that we were actually short staffed and they needed me. I was told if they paid for my CDA I’d receive a $2.50 raise but had to sign a contract saying I’d stay for a year. I signed it, never got the raise I was told. I was manipulated and treated very poorly by the owner. I never received a 90 day review, I was told that when I was hired that they start at $12 come to find out everyone else was making more. I’ve been lied to, treated like I was lesser then, yelled at more than applauded, etc. I could go on. Look at reviews on Indeed if you need more from other Goddard employees. I am not “disgruntled” I am disappointed in the way the owner treats her employees. The turnover rate is astronomical. Your children won’t get the consistent care the need and deserve.

School was exposed to COVID over the weekend and the head staff failed to inform management and staff until this past Monday, hours after opening. Management staff is exercising malpractice. Facility was not cleaned, closed, and communication was non-existent to keep parents updated in bringing their children; disregarding human health and valuing family time.

We loved our experience with the Goddard School in Colorado Springs! Our son attended the school from 3 months to 3 years and we loved all of his teachers and every classroom. He had an amazing time and impressed us constantly with the things he was learning. He knows all of his numbers and colors in English, Spanish, and sign language! He can also say the whole alphabet and recognizes most of the letters. Our son made some great friendships with the other students too. We only left the school due to moving out of state and to an area that sadly has no Goddard Schools. We used our experience to help us find another school comparable for our son because we liked it so much. We loved our experience at Goddard and would recommend it to anyone!

The Goddard School of Colorado Springs is the best daycare in the area. I have been to two others before settling my Daughter here. The STEM program/curriculum for both young and kindergarten kids is fun and challenging. My daughter is extremely happy about going to school and always have so much to talk about when I pick her up. The teachers are all certified and they are all professional. It is easy to communicate with them as well. The teachers are organized and have well thought out lesson plans. I know my child is truly learning each day rather than just being watched. I really respect how well behaved and attentive the kids are during activities. They are focused and respectful at a level appropriate for their ages. The owner and director are superb and treat every kid as their own. The other thing I love is that you give them your home cooked food (Nut Free of course) and pack snack that your kid like to eat. We are vegetarians and its huge for us. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare you can really trust and feel at home with, you can not find a better place in the area.

We moved to Colorado Springs in December of 2013 and thoroughly researched child development centers for our 2 and 4 year old sons. We had high expectations based our experience with our previous preschool. Based on our research we visited 3 centers and Goddard was the clear winner. But at the end of the day you really do not know if it is the best choice until your kids settle in, you have some experiences and see the response and the results. 6 months after our decision we feel even stronger about our decision to send our kids to the Colorado Springs Goddard School. From the front office team, to the management to the teachers, they all do the their very best even in the most challenging circumstances. I have seen them rally around families going through tragic circumstances and go above an beyond. The communication is frequent, informative and clear. My experiences with the teachers has been positive and they actively work with you and your child on their needs while balancing the needs of the other children. The management is very engaged and responsive. I have a hard time getting my kids to leave school at the end of the day. Based on our experience, I highly recommend this school

I always had a great experience at the Goddard School. My daughter went here for 2.5 years and we always had a great time. They kept us updated, she had great days at school and met lots of friends. She is very prepared for Kindergarten and is excited to start school again after the summer! We could not be happier with The Goddard School.

The best decision I ever made for my son! He has been enrolled at The Goddard School since he was three months old. Being in the military, consistency is a must for children and being able to have my son in The Goddard School provides just that. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff are very caring and knowledgable in the Early Childhood field. I really love the daily reports and the photographs which show how much my child loves it here. The teachers provide a daily curriculum and my son will definitely be ready for Kindergarten. I would recommend this school to others, especially if you value education, caring professional staff and want to provide your child with the building blocks for future learning. Looking at other reviews on this site some people are concerned about the teacher turnover. My son had the same two teachers all year and is now thriving in Elementary School. We miss this school and all of the friendly faces.

Best Preschool we have ever been to!!!!We were absolutely in love with my sons preschool while we lived in Colorado Springs. We still make sure to go visit the school and our forever friends every time we are back in town!My 5 year old son was always so happy and satisfied coming home from the Goddard School, and I remember that would give me great piece of mind. The Staff is wonderful and his teachers, very committed and very loving. Always updating me with new information on his development!I noticed great improving on my sons interest for learning and got to follow these improvements trough the schools daily emails with information of what went on that day so I could continue engaging with his school activities at home.We are now back home and we will all miss the Goddard School very very much.We wish we could rate the school with *10* stars!!!

My husband and I toured the center for possible infant care. As someone who has been in the ECE field for a number of years, I knew exactly what we were looking for. I had heard great things about The Goddard School and was extremely disappointed with what I saw. We were led into a small, dirty infant room and there were multiple red flags that I immediately noticed. The lead teacher repeatedly coughed into her hands and continued to touch children and items in the classroom instead of taking the time to wash her hands. While we were meeting with the director, a woman came in and said it was her first time picking up her son. The director clearly did not know who the parent was, but buzzed her in and directed her to the childs classroom. She did not ask for ID nor did she look at the childs enrollment sheet to check if this woman was who she claimed she was. I was concerned that anyone would be able to take a child out of the center! When I inquired as to the curriculum and philosophies, I was told it was based on the Piaget theory of learning with no further explanation given. Fortunately, I am well-versed in child development theories, but your average parent is not. We were not given a tour of the rest of the facility and the entire process just seemed rushed. Overall, I was very disappointed with our tour and would not put our baby in this facility.

My daughter has been going to The Goddard School since she was two years old, she is now 5; I have had nothing but a great experience with the school. She had gone to another preschool here in Colorado Springs and am so glad that we made the change to come to Goddard. All of the teachers that she has had throughout her years there have been so wonderful. The parent-teacher communication is great and I feel like my daughter is genuinely loved and cared for by all her teachers. She is about to start kindergarten and I have no doubt that she is fully prepared because of what she has learned at Goddard. I would definitely recommended this school to anyone that is looking for great care and educational curriculum.

Very poor experience. We left immediately after it was brought to my attention that at least one teacher was posting pictures on social media and stated she couldnt stand her in reference to my one year old. We had numerous issues prior to this with classroom management and teacher turnover. I cant speak to changes made since we left. In good conscience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility. I would not recommend anyone send their children there. Much better choices available in the area.

Goddard School in Colorado Springs has provided our children with a wonderful and caring environment since 2012. After visiting 3 other pre-schools in the area, we chose Goddard and have been extremely pleased with our decision. Our experience with the management and teachers has been very positive and we highly recommend this school.

Within a week of enrolling my daughter at Goddard, she was fully potty-trained...something we had been struggling with for months...we couldnt have been more thrilled!!! Since then, we have seen nothing but positive changes in our daughter who thrives to learn and has flourished in her classrooms at Goddard with a challenging and welcome learning environment. She can now spell out loud her first and last name and write them both as well without any assistance...all by the time she was four! Its hard to be a full-time working mom, but its so reassuring to know my daughter is cared for and nurtured the way I would if I could be home with her. She always reports shes had a good day when picked up and has a smile on her face. Her favorite thing is the awesome art projects she creates there, something I never would have been able to challenge her with enough at home for her skills. She is constantly teaching me new things :)

We are a military family and moved here in May of this year. We were very apprehensive about any type of daycare for our then 18 month old daughter, and spent 2 months researching our options and figuring out what would work best for us, and her. The biggest reason it took so long was we had never been away from our daughter yet. So needless to say the search was a long and stressful one. Finally, we heard from a friend about the Goddard School. We took a tour of the facility and were immediately impressed by the security of the school and professionalism of all the staff. The directors and owner are just amazing to work with and they really went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% comfortable with leaving our daughter in their care. My wife and I to this day are so grateful we sought out the Goddard school - and our daughter who is now 2 just loves her teachers and the environment. There have been times when our daughter was not feeling the best, or was extra clingy or upset for no apparent reason - and I have on multiple occasions found her being held and cuddled in the front office by one of the directors, taking the time to comfort her and reassure her that everything is ok. What a blessing and a credit to the school, and so reassuring as a parent that these staff members care and love the children they are taking responsibility for.Another thing that amazes us each week is the amount our daughter is learning at the school. Her vocabulary and comprehension skills have increased more than we ever could imagine and she has developed a strong devotion to art and the outdoors due to the school curriculum. She is already counting to twenty and singing songs at home that she has learned in school. Like another review stated, there have been times I have gone to pick her up and she is enjoying her time there so much she wants to stay - I have to persuade her to come home with me! Plus, as drop off times can be really difficult, the staff are very observant and go out of their way to help the kids transition into class/daycare mode to ease the stress and guilt on you, the parent.I have read some of the negative reviews about the school and all I can say is that some individuals will never be happy, no matter what the situation. If something negative happened Im sure the school directors and owners dealt with the situation in a professional manner, as I have seen nothing but exceptional customer service and care from all I have encountered in our time here.Incredible school and staff - you will not be disappointed.

Wow! Stay the heck away from this place! A parents worst nightmare is finding out then verifying your kids arent safe at daycare! The owners are more interested in writing online reviews than the well-being of my kids they are charge. And they arent afraid to cross the line of professionalism and talk bad about parents whos kids they mistreated!! Beware! We advice them to stop sharing private data about my children and work on improving the facility. If they are willing to share personal and private data about my kids with random parents(as shared by the review by Ph.D. Brewer, and others who we have talked to but somehow know how we feel about the ordeal Goddard created) can you trust them with your children?Every business makes mistakes, every one, but how they handle it shows what kind of business they really are. If they are more interested in their own reputation, you can see where their priorities are. I feel bad for the owners if this incident caused a drop in their business, but sending the attack dogs after parents isnt a good way to drum up business. Possibly they should place more value in their employees than their profit.Even though ownership of the Goddard School in Colorado Springs threatens to sue us for not keeping our experience private, we hope no parent has to go through the ordeal we had to. Having to switch daycare overnight was a train wreck for us, and we hope you can avoid it. Its one thing to run a business but its another thing to threaten to sue when you make a mistake to keep people quiet! Darin and Liz (the owners)should be ashamed of how we and our kids were treated but they have other priorities! We were open with them about the incident, shared the pictures we had of the facebook comments Goddard teachers made towards our daughter, but all they cared about was finding out who gave them to us, not the safety of our child. All they wanted to know is how we found out about it. What employee told parents they had a chat to talk bad about kids on Facebook. The best thing I can say about this school is our children no longer go to the Goddard School in Colorado Springs. We hope no parents ever have to go through the pain of our experience at the Goddard School in Colorado Springs. Little children deserve teachers who love them and love taking care of them. Not teachers who cant stand her as we found out from a Facebook post of the teacher of my 1 year old daughter (who says that about a 1 year old?). It was a chat full of Goddard school teachers talking bad about my (and other) children. Management didnt seem to think it was that big of deal until we said we would take it to the media....They did an investigation and said they found no other picture of my kids on the Internet except on my personal facebook (which isnt true, I am a teacher, dozens of people have pics with my kids.)I realize the owners can not prevent their employees from making these comments, but the turnover rate of her teachers was so high a bad apple was bound to happen. 3 different lead teachers in a month at one point! Explanation we got from ownership was there is a lot of turnover in Colorado Springs due to military moved Really? In February?? Both our kids had the exact same set of teachers at Primrose for over a year now!If you are new to the Colorado Springs area, I would strongly recommend checking into other options like Hope Montessori, Rocky Mountain Montessori, KinderCare, or Primrose as better options for your childs care. They also provide breakfast and lunch for about the same cost as the Goddard School, which is a huge hassle for working parents to make 2 meals a day for their kids to take to Goddard and still drop $1000 a month for them to go there. Also check out our local newspapers awards section: Best of the Springs. That will speak louder than one persons opinionOur experience at Primrose has been outstanding, and the best part, plenty of my 4 year old sons has most of his classmates from Goddard are now at Primrose too! I hope you dont have to go through what we did!

My son (now over a year) has been going to the Goddard School since he was 3 months old. Not only does he LOVE going but the teachers and staff have always been amazing to me. As a new mom I had all the worries and didnt know what to do at different stages with him. They helped guide me on feeding changes, development, and answering any questions I had. They have also helped with MANY craft project I couldnt wrestle him into doing. My son had a dairy allergy for his first year and I feed him very specifically and they have always been amazing working around his diet needs. The teachers there become like family and truly care about you and your child. I feel completly confident in brining my son (and soon to be two kids) to the Goddard School every day. *Update* Now my second little one is with the teachers at teh Goddard School. Always hard leaving your 3 month old with others but I know she is in caring hands. Wouldnt take her any other place! My son has learned so much and always surprises me with what he has learned there.
