This is the best daycare ever. My daughter is talking alot more and learning so much!! They take amaxing care of her. I get notifications on 3verything, whatcshe eats, and when, what kind of diaper she had and when they changed it, when she falls asleep and wakes up and i get pictures and videos. La Petite is very trustworthy and the absolute best!! I 100% recommend this daycare

La Petite Academy off Rio Vista Dr is awesome. I was a bit skeptical about enrolling my daughter in school to began with but just upon entering this school you feel welcomed and very comfortable. My child attends Ms. Jeanette Toddler class and she loves it. I have seem the growth in my child in so many ways since she began attending school in September 2014. Its just a great feeling knowing that my child looks forward to attending school everyday. She walks in the front door just as happy as she can be. The staff overall is great.

I have worked for La Petite for over 3 years now and this is a great place to work. When I first started I was not too sure about this particular school but things changed, new staff were hired and now this is a place I am proud to work at. It is really sad that when staff no longer work here they feel the need to post an anonymous negative online review like they have children who go here; instead of moving on with their lives. If you want quality education and teachers who care for your child then this is the place to come. Please check us out for yourself and dont go off of online reviews that may or may not be legit.

My 15 month old grandson is in Ms. Jeanettes class and he is flourishing. Ms. Sarah, Ms. Rocio, Ms. Wanda, Ms. Angie -I am so grateful for each of you! I know that when I drop him off at daycare, I know that he is loved and he loves his teachers. It truly feels like a loving, caring family at La Petite Academy. All of the staff are professional and truly care about the children and the families they serve. This is a nourishing environment for children and I am happy to bring my grandson to La Petite Academy!

I live 1 block away & have been here since 1982 my youngest brother attended back then & now my daughter attends. They have the nicest staff & everyday my daughter looks forward 2 going everyday & I trust that my baby is safe & well taken care of. I am able 2 continue with my day with ease because I know my baby is safe & happy. Many great thanks to the staff!

I enrolled my 10 year old in the school age program. I was so pleased with the staff, they were all so friendly, even shook my hand as I walked through. Miss. Wanda is the greatest teacher, my daughter loves her! There are always great things going on in the classroom. This has been a great experience for us. I could not be happier!

Overall, I am satisfied by the results the school, the director, the staffs, and especially teachers who have offered and continues to teach my son through a structured curriculum. Thank You for the hard work you do. You are not just staffs or teachers but family through ups and downs

Rico is my daycare provider at 3615 Vista Dr Colorado Springs, CO 80917. She is patient and polite to my children. I believe she should have more help because the two year olds are active and still in diapers or pull-ups. The staff seem pleasant and kind when I am there.

My kids had been going to La Petite for 2 years, when they started there was an amazing director who seemed like truly cared about and loved the kids. The teachers all seemed very happy and caring about the students. About 6 months ago it seems like there was a silent takeover. Heidi and Tammi the current directors took over from Miss Tasha and Ive had nothing but issues since. I legitimately believe that these new directors are in it strictly for the paycheck and do not care about the children.#1 The new directors had NEVER introduced themselves to me once they took over. I had no idea Miss Tasha was gone until I hadnt seen her around for a few weeks.#2 It seems like its been nothing but a revolving door of teachers since the new directors have taken over. Thankfully there have been a few GREAT teachers that have stayed through it all, Miss Jennifer and Miss Angie have always been great with my kids and I know my kids will miss them. Beyond that, I would go in and there would be a new face and a new teacher it seems like every day--and of course no there were no announcements about these new teachers and no one ever introduced me to these people who were now in charge of my children.#3 Dropping my children off if there werent enough teachers so the director had to be in the room with them they would have their nose buried in paperwork and would not be interacting with the children. My daughter sometimes has a hard time letting go in the morning, usually Miss Angie will help get her integrated in an activity or the classroom so I can leave, if one of the directors is in the room instead of a teacher they will basically ignore her until I can get her distracted enough to leave.#4 My 4 year old son has never had discipline or behavioral issues EVER. Since these new directors/teachers have taken over I have gotten multiple calls suddenly about his behavior. The first few times I assumed that it was that he was having a bad day. But it became more and more frequent. I would get a call and it was almost as if the directors were tattling on him. I would get a long list of all his transgressions and was even told: I want you to speak with him so he knows there are consequences to his actions. It is completely inappropriate to pit me or my husband against our child and make it seem like its a punishment for them to speak with me! The last time I got a call was the last straw and I removed my kids immediately after speaking with my son over the phone and hearing him literally SOBBING, I know my child and I know when hes legitimately being stubborn/throwing a tantrum and when hes been pushed past the limit, my son was not given the care he needed to be given. When he is having a bad day at home or with literally anyone else all it takes is us talking to him to calm him down. (And again, I have never heard reports about his behavior from any of the other teachers/previous administration until the new directors took over.) After picking my son up from school that day I spoke with him about what happened and he told me the directors refused to give him his blanket. Which would have calmed him down immediately, what is the point of keeping a blanket from a 4 year old?Bottom line is this new administration does not care about the children in the center. Countless times I have brought them in to drop them off and my kids, who are extremely talkative would stop to say hello or goodbye to either of the directors that were there. The impression they would give is that they are inconvenienced by my children. Unless there is a huge overhaul in the administration in that building I would never bring my children back.

Terrible center to take children to. The director is too busy with her friends in the office or on her cell phone to care about kids. This business also begs parents to give good reviews and then will report any negative reviews. Price is outrageous for the lack of care to children. Ive heard teachers use adult language at the kids. Ive reported it but nothing is done about it. Kids will be dragged into the front office because teachers cannot handle them. Take your loved children to a center that will teach them and love them

My 1st grade son attends La Petite for before and after school care and during school breaks. He is always on time for school and picked up promptly when school gets out. The kids go on tons of field trips in the summer.

I also have a baby in ms. jeanettes class and she loves it. all of the ladies have been so great with my daughter. the entire staff in general have been wonderful towards my daughter and I since she was enrolled a few months ago. im happy I found a good daycare. to the person who said the teachers look tired, how can you not be? they dont have the easiest job, they are taking care of multiple babies and babies are exhausting, give them a break. I think all of the teachers are awesome- they are all super nice.

Today was my sons very first day at the Rio Visto location La Petit Academy. Normally when taking him into new environments, he can be a bit shy but to my suprise he was eager to get down and play right away with the other kids. I believe that the nurturing and active involvement of staff with the children greatly helped my son to feel immediately comfortable. The staff went out of there way to give me a full tour, answering all my questions and showing me exactly what my son would be doing on a daily basis. This organization is one of the most friendly and well equipped facilities Ive seen. Additionally, it is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I was super impressed by the level of sercurity and measures required in order to gain access to the building. I also noted the wide food selection and healthy options available to the kids. Lastly, Id like to comment on the level of expertise and background of the employees. Upon walking in, I was able to see a wall full of employee bios along with all their years/credentials in childcare and CPR. I can say that this, along with the security measures was a great thing to help any parent feel confident that theyre leaving their child in the utmost and safe environment. Based on how happy my son seemed to be there along with all the features of this facility, I will most definitley be coming back on a regular basis.

Smelly rooms. The infants looked a little stressed and dirty I felt bad for them. The teachers were polite&helpful just seemed tired. Did not like the service I received from the person assisting the director, lol guess the director was too busy for my visit. RUDE
