We switched to this preschool because of the outstanding personal recommendations about the director, teachers, and quality of academic and social education. What I have also come to love with two children in the school now is the close community and the collaboration between parents, teachers and staff. My children feel loved and cared for from the minute we drive up. Parents are welcoming and down to earth. I dont feel like I am just dropping my children off to school; this school community has a heart of gold. I also highly value the curriculums emphasis on social development and self esteem building. My oldest daughters confidence and poise has evolved over her time at GFCC and I appreciate the attention to manners and practical social lessons. I cannot recommend Greenwood Forest Childrens Center enough. The facility is exceptional and well-maintained. The directors, teachers and staff are caring and professional. The curriculum is well-rounded with outstanding music and dance/movement programs. The community is diverse and approachable. Top notch school.

This is a great day care center. My child absolutely loved it. She wakes up in the morning (even if its not a day care morning) and the first thing she says is lets go to day care. The staff is very dedicated and loving. They keep the children busy all the time - educating them in a fun way, dancing, singing, playing.... But the most important thing is welcome and very warm atmosphere.

Wonderful preschool! The teachers truly love the children and give their all to create an exciting, fun learning environment. They provide a solid educational foundation for children in the years leading up to kindergarten.I cant recommend it enough!

Our family love GFCC, especially my children. The place is sterile clean and has artistic lovely hallway. Its playground is huge and enclosed. I was first impressed with the director Ms.Duncans warm welcome and later all my sons teachers. They are all genuinely nice people and love children.Thank you for what you are doing for all your students everyday.

What a great preschool! My husband went there as a child and all three of my kids have gone there. You could not find a better staff to teach your kids if you tried! This school has excellent communication and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend to everyone!

My daughter spent 3 wonderful years here and we loved every minute of it! It is run by an amazing director and taught by wonderful and loving teachers. You get a happy feeling every time you walk in the door:)

We have been to a couple preschools in the area, but Greenwood Forest is far and away the best. The teachers are kind and loving, the class has diversity, but most of all my kids LOVE going each morning! They have learned so much and I feel like they are truly prepared for Kindergarten.

My daughter went there for Transitional Kindergarten. The teachers are all so caring and loving! I just wish I had known about this school sooner! When she entered Kindergarten she was more than ready. I cant say enough good things about this school!

This place is a hidden treasure. The teachers and staff are so warm and caring towards the children. The curriculum is imaginative and fun and best of all my kids love it!

We absolutely love GFCC. My son started in Apple Class and every morning he wakes up and get ready to go to Apple School. Best thing to me while I send my son at GFCC I always feel like he is around nice and warm hearted people who loves children. Only difficulty I always have is with the timing. It falls in my pick office hours couple hour later pick up schedule would be absolutely perfect for me.

We love this preschool! Both of my sons have/are attending GFCC. Everyone always looks happy to be there. They provide fantastic social development: learning to interact with peers, follow a routine, share, etc. They also teach the basics theyll need to be ready for Kindergarten: handling scissors, glue, writing numbers and letters, etc. If youre looking for a rigorous curriculum go elsewhere. If you want a loving, fun, social skills focused environment, go to GFCC!

After 2 of our children went through GFCC and we moved a little farther, we toured other preschools for our 3rd child and put him in another for a year. During that year it was clear what we were missing at Greenwood Forest! The staff and director are dedicated to learning through all senses and in the most developmentally appropriate ways-- from the 2s all the way through Transitional Kindergarten. There is no better place for the foundation years prior to big school. We have our 4th child at GFCC and would not go anywhere else.

GFCC has exceeded my expectations in every way. My son, Clancy started last year in the 3 year old program, and has learned an immense amount of knowledge. From his teachers Ms. Mitchell, Ms. Kirley, Ms. Bingham, and Ms. Turner to the director Ms. Sandy and staff, they all have been wonderful and very welcoming. I was hesitant at first and worried how he would do the first day as he was 24/7 with me at home. He didnt even cry the first day and was excited to go to pre-k the next day. He has grown so much intellectually and has become very confident and independent, thanks to the curriculum taught at GFCC. After all, who can question a 50-year old school program??! I am very selective as most mothers are when it comes to their children and am not pleased easily, but from curriculum, staff, activities to hygiene, I have nothing to say other than GFCC has exceeded my expectations and I trust them without the slightest hesitation with my son. This year he just entered the 5-day class, Building Blocks, and we still have a chance to stop by to say hello to his old Blue Puppy Teachers from last year. They know every one by name, they are not just a number. They even know my second sons name, Bryson, who in 2 years will attend GFCC also :) Please stop by and visit the school, you will not be disappointed. I am so blessed to be able to send our children to GFCC! Thank you, thank you for all you do for our children!
