We recently relocated to NC and our top priority was finding a quality daycare/preschool for our two young children. During our research of facilities in the area we found Preston Childrens Academy (PCA) and instantly felt this was the perfect fit for us. Every single staff member is welcoming and caring, they take the time to get to know you and your child. They are flexible to your needs and do a great job at communicating with parents. With the on-set of COVID, PCA took immediate steps to institute new protocols and safety measures to protect the children and their staff. The environment at PCA feels organized, calm and nurturing which has really helped with our childrens transition to their new school. Weve only been attending for a short while but it already feels like home.

Preston Childrens Academy has been the perfect spot for our family. Our son absolutely thrives here. He loves his teachers and classmates, and were thrilled with how much hes growing and learning under their care.Like any first time parents, my husband and I put a lot of energy, time and worry into childcare for our son. We have never once felt that we made anything but the best decision to enroll at PCA. Were thrilled to have found such a wonderful place and are looking forward to enrolling our second child in early 2021.Bottom line: we absolutely love PCA and cannot recommend it enough.

We have been using Preston for our children’s daycare since our kids were 12 and 8 weeks old. I’ve been so impressed with all the teachers we’ve had over the years. Our oldest just graduated from the pre-k program and I’m so impressed with all that he knows. Additionally, they went above and beyond during COVID and never shut down and yet managed to stay safe. They were the first place I looked for a school aged program for virtual school and was so sad to hear they didn’t have one. Preston is reasonably priced for the hours, the days open, and the rating. I toured several places and am so glad we went with Preston.

Preston Childrens Academy (PCA) was recommended to us by our neighbor Kristin Gainer Hamrick when our first child (A.) was born and we were searching for daycares. She had her three kids at PCA . Weve had our two kids in PCA since A. was 12 weeks old and K. was 16 weeks old. We couldnt be happier. The staff are very friendly. Amy and Pam know all parents by their first name, which is quite impressive. For a five star daycare, the prices are within reason when compared to other daycares in Cary. Mymiss Suzette is the teacher in the pre-k program. She brings with her years of experience in elementary education. A. finished the pre-k program learning to read before starting kindergarten . Lastly, what we really appreciate during this pandemic is the commitment of the staff. PCA remained open this whole time taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our children, parents, as well as their staff. We highly recommend PCA for your childcare needs.

Preston has been part of our family for over 4 years. As a working mom, I worried about leaving my young children with someone other than our own family, but the teachers at Preston made us feel confident that our children would be safe and well taken care of. Weve fallen in love with every teacher our kids have been placed with and were grateful for the support of the staff at Preston!

When my first son was born, my husband and I spent a lot of time researching local child care facilities. We even had a rating system. After walking into Preston, we immediately knew that we had found the right fit for our family. Six years later, we still feel that way. I currently have my 2 year old and my 4 year old enrolled in daycare there. My 6 year old was well prepared for kindergarten thanks to his fabulous Pre-K teacher. My little ones call it school and look forward to getting there every morning, their days are filled with friends, fun and learning. I sometimes have trouble getting them to leave! Its a smaller, family-owned facility. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and their genuine love of the kids is evident. The teacher retention is great and its nice that all three of my children get to experience the same teachers. Ive referred several friends to Preston, all of whom decided to enroll their children there. If youre looking for a nurturing and loving environment for your children that fosters learning and growth, Id encourage you to check out Preston Childrens Academy.

Preston Academy is truly one of the best preschools in Cary. They have been very accommodating and understanding of my childs needs. My 2 year old child has some learning challenges. The staff at Preston Academy knew how to make her feel like she belongs and takes the time to teach her. Thank you Preston Academy for being a part of our family.

My 4 year old loves going to preschool at Preston Academy. They are so nice, caring, and the school is clean. My favorite part is that they are very close to my home in Cary. I dont have to battle through crazy traffic to get my son to school. They make the pickup and drop-off process quick and smooth.

We love PCA! The staff are highly engaging with the kids. All teachers know all the childrens names and really care about them. My two daughters have learned so much in the time theyve been there. There is a nice balance of activities that includes art, exercise/coordination, creative play, reading and cognitive stimulation, and a lovely outside area too! My daughters and I both like the menus for breakfast, lunch, and snack time. They eat raw veggies at daycare-mommy win!

I was very impressed with Preston Academy after my initial tour. This is definitely a high-quality preschool compared to others Ive visited recently. The staff seemed very friendly and the atmosphere was positive. Although I have not enrolled my child yet, this is the best daycare/preschool option Ive visited.

Our 2 children currently attend PCA and they have been wonderful. The administrators and the teachers are friendly, easy to work with, and best of all our children are loved. I feel good about leaving my children to get a great education, and to be hugged & cuddled, and nourished. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a 5-star, locally owned establishment for their children.

We transferred our 3 year old to PCA when we moved from Raleigh to Cary. PCA was highly recommended to us and did not disappoint! Family oriented and wonderful events throughout the year. The pre-school graduation was so precious with the pics, songs and skits. They even brought in super hero special guests, pizza, and ice cream which was a treat for the parents as well :-).

We have been enrolled at PCA for close to seven years and are absolutely at home with this daycare. My daughter, now 7 was enrolled as an infant and graduated in 2015. My son is currently enrolled in the 2yo room and loves school. Over the course of the years there had been extremely low turnover in staff and each teacher has always had an impact on my childs life. A nutrious lunch and snack is provided daily, which is super helpful in our busy lives. We love Preston Childrens Academy!

We started both our children at Preston Children’s as infants and our oldest has since graduated from the pre-K class. She left for Kindergarten confident and well-prepared due, in no small part, to all the wonderful teachers and staff of PCA. I felt “at home” from the moment I took my initial tour and everyone we’ve encountered over the last (nearly) 6 years has been welcoming and genuinely invested in the care, safety, nurturing and education of our children. On-site meals/snacks and indoor gym space for rainy days have been wonderful additional perks. We love PCA! Highly recommend!

My wife and I did a lot of research picking a daycare in the Raleigh/Cary area for our daughter. I still remember after walking in to visit and tour Preston Childrens Academy we both got back in the car and agreed we could cancel the other 2 tours we had lined up because Preston just felt right. Our initial instincts have proven right as we fast forward and our little girl is now 2.5 yrs old and in the 2-3yr Toddler Room. We have been overly impressed with all 3 rooms she has been apart of as each of the teachers has taken a vested interest in getting to know our daughter and eager to help and watch her develop and learn. The Toddler Room has really helped her advance at an accelerated pace because of the interaction and participation the teachers encourage from the kids. We are expecting our 2nd baby at the end of May and are excited for him to enjoy the same experience that our daughter has when it comes to a day care center that not only prides itself on excellent staff & teachers, extremely clean/nice facilities, and family engagement but proves it day in and day out! Thanks Preston!

My child started at Preston Childrens Academy at just 9 weeks old. The staffs education and compassion, as well as, the schools pleasant and nurturing feeling helped to put me at ease with the transition of leaving my son. My child has just transitioned into the two year old class, and I am overjoyed by the skills and social development he has attained from PCA! I would highly recommend the program to any parent seeking quality care for their little one!

Our family is part of the family at Preston. We have had 3 children enrolled there over the past 3 years, and we look forward to another 2 years before our youngest son will graduate. Taking him to Preston doubles the length of my commute, but its worth every minute of that time to know that he is well cared for and nurtured in a positive environment where he is constantly learning and growing. I never worry about safety, education, or love while my kids are with the lovely teachers and staff at this very personal school. At this point, I have had a child in literally every age level class at the school, and I have never been unhappy. The teachers are a great mix of experienced and newly educated, and all of them seem excited to teach the littles and make sure they are healthy and happy. When our niece came to stay with us while her mother was deployed overseas for a year, they were accommodating, not only in holding a space for her, but also with her long list of food allergies--we were able to take special care with her diet with full support from the teachers in her class and the onsite cook at the school--they were amazing. I cant recommend Preston enough!

We currently have 2 children enrolled in Preston Childrens Academy. A 2 year old and an Infant. When we first started looking at preschools for our first child, we were immediately attracted to PCA because of their NAEYC accreditation, quality of staff and overall facilities. The teachers our children have had during their time at PCA have all been fantastic. They seem to enjoy seeing my children in the morning and my children have developed a special bond with each one. Our 2 year old constantly talks about his teachers on his way too and from school and at the dinner table. I would highly recommend PCA to any parent looking for a quality preschool in the Cary area.

I cant say enough about Preston Childrens Academy! My daughter and I relocated and I chose where I wanted to live according to this daycare center. I was SO pleased with the staff and teachers. It was my daughters first time being in daycare at 2 years old and they have truly set the standard for what I look for at a daycare learning center. Ms. Jigna & Ms. Yuliana are the best teachers!! I could not thank them enough for being such great teachers and genuinely good people! Unfortunately, I had to take my daughter out of PCA because we moved to another city and the commute is too far to Cary. I wish I could take the teachers with me to my daughters new school. Where I am searching now is a lot harder decision than it was at Preston Childrens Academy. I will always recommend PCA!

After moving to Raleigh two years ago, my husband and I were struggling to find child care for our 14 month old son. We visited countless daycare facilities from Cary to Holly Springs and could not find a good fit for our family. That was until we toured Preston Childrens Academy. On our initial visit, we were welcomed by the directors and felt the warmth of each teacher as we visited their classrooms. We loved the play areas and gym for our active son. We were also impressed with the kitchen facility and balanced menu they offered. Needless to say, we filled out our registration paperwork that day. Here we are two years later with two children at PCA and could not be happier. Everyone on staff knows our children by name and their teachers care for them as if they were their own. They have supported us in too many ways to mention, but the most recent have been with our sons recent peanut allergy diagnosis (they are a peanut free facility), and our daughters transition from purees and bottles to solids and sippy cups. The teachers at PCA are experienced (our childrens lead teachers all have childhood development degrees) and provide a balanced curriculum with opportunities of choice and creativity. They also communicate effectively through daily conversations, a detailed daily report, and monthly newsletters. We appreciate them more than they will ever know.My husband and I do not have anyone in our family nearby to care for our children and PCA has become just that, our family.
