My daughter and her friends had a fantastic time at her mad science birthday party! The scientist was so entertaining and even the parents enjoyed themselves. I loved that they came out to us at our location, which allowed us to have a COVID-safe party outside. Also, Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with in the month leading up to the party. She was so helpful and patient. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this experience!

Best place ever for Kids!!..My son had a birthday party last year and he and his friends had a blast. We just enrolled him on the camp and he gets excited every day with all the activities they do, they have great materials to do science projects and games.I love the way they learn and have fun at the same time.

My 6 year old had a blast. He loves math and science, and he absolutely loved doing the science experiments each day. Plus, the instructors were extremely friendly, and it was a safe environment.

We picked Mad Science for my sons 6th birthday after he saw them for a library show over the summer. He and his friends (mostly 5 and 6) absolutely loved the show for the birthday package! We had about 28 kids and they were all completely engaged the entire time. Pretty much every parent at the party who watched some or all of the show said that it was wonderful and that the scientists (Emily & Rocky) were fantastic! Highly recommend! Cant wait to start the after school class/club with them in October. Thanks Mad Science!

It was amazing learning and ao much fun. The kids were engaged at all times and when our rocket launch got rained out the team quickly offered to make nebula clouds with the cotton candy machine. We celebrated my daughters 6th birthday party in our backyard and Professor Tim did a wonderful job! It was entertaining and educational and the theme choices are so fun. I was worried about finding a good option during this pandemic, but everything was safe (masks, distance, outdoors, etc). Kids were saying it was the best birthday party they have ever been to!

The newly conceptualized Dino theme party was very captivating for the kids (5yr old). All of them thoroughly enjoyed it along with all the hands-on fun, which 5yr old doesnt like to play with dirt, dust and excavate some Dino eggs. Well done Mad Science!!! This was our first foray back into the world of summer camps since the pandemic. We appreciated the small group setting and safety protocols in place that enabled us to feel that we could safely send our kids to camp. Our kids had smiles at the end of day and had lots to say about their day - this let us know that they were engaged, having fun and learned so much! Thank you for a fantastic week!!

We had our daughters 5th birthday party at Mad Science of the Triangle and it was an absolute blast! Our scientist put on a great show and it was entertaining for both the kids and adults alike. Be sure and add on the cotton candy finale (it’s delicious).

Our mad scientist was so entertaining and informative. He kept the kids engaged, was silly and made them laugh, and informative and made them learn. The kids AND adults were engaged every minute! And we did it outdoors, with masks, and it worked very well.

Had Mad Science come to our house for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Doc Roc was AMAZING with the children and kept them engaged! Couldn’t be happier with the set-up, experiments, and how well he entertained them with science! I was hesitant to go with the Jr party because I thought it would be too young or too cheesy, but I was blown away. The rocket launch addition was pretty cool, too. Mad Science perfectly satisfied my daughter’s request to have a “scientist party at home”. Thank you!

We had the best experience with Mad Science. The party was held at my Son’s School and we chose the Winter Wonder Lab program and the kids had the best time ever!!! It was really entertaining, fun and very educational. The Scientist did an amazing job with the kids, he was fun and also kept them engaged in all the activities for the full hour. I had the pleasure to talk with Mad Science Owner, and she is great. They really care about their customers and will go above and beyond to make it a very special experience for the kids. I celebrated my 7yo daughters birthday there and to say the least, everyone was entertained. Girls, boys and adults. It was a great experience and will recommend to anyone.Safety was their 1st priority. Everything was explained to the kids so they dont touch anything while fire and electricity was being used for the experiments. Again, highly recommended.

My son loves the activities!! He has participated in the afterschool program and a virtual summer session, the instructors are fun and kind and the activities are engaging and very for lots if different experiences. I will continue to enroll him in programs in the future!

Had a party at our house. My daughter invited the whole class plus some other kids so we bought the 21+ party. We only had 18 come but because we bought the bigger party pack we got 2 scientists, that was great! They were amazing!! The kids loved it. We also bought the cotton candy add-on. Wasnt expecting a full size machine. The kids enjoyed that a lot. A++. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun party idea for a group of kids.

Totally worth the trip and the best time to play science

My son came home from chemistry day talking non-stop about how much fun he had and his theory on what happened to the nose cone of the rocket they launched and how nice the teacher was. Definitely a great choice for a teacher workday or school holiday that doesnt coincide with parents being off of work. He also loved the names that were so scientific like Marie Curious and Radioactive Rachel. He loved it!

It was awesome! Kids had a blast and Doc Rock was great with all the kids! The experiments were fun and engaging. It is exactly what our daughter wanted for her party! I didnt have to wrangle kids. They sat and participated with their scientist the entire time! They got to make and take home slime and they all loved that!!

Our 9 year old said this was one of the funnest day camps she has been to in a while. Definitely recommend it, and shell be going again!

My daughter loved the virtual class. She learned many cool things. MadScience was very organized and kept her very engaged. I received materials on time. Even though I registered at the last minute. I would definitely recommend them.

Sarah the scientist was great. The kids had fun. We chose the cotton candy finale. It was great but maybe too much sugar. Something different than other birthday parties. Worth trying. The room they have is not big so best for a medium sized group 10-15 kids.

My daughter and her classmates had such a great time at her mad science birthday party. The professor had a room full of 6 year olds completely enthralled in everything he was doing. Many of them said they wanted their own mad science birthday party! They were super easy to work with and the kids loved it!

We hired the Candy Lab package for our kids 11 yo celebration and we loved Everything! From the mad scientist (he was awesome), the detailed explanation, the variety of experiments to the grand cotton candy finale! Highly recommended, you will definitely get your money’s worth. All the parents where amazed and saying what a great idea was it!

We had a fantastic 5th birthday party at Mad Science today!! The kids loved it, the parents loved it - it was something unique and different from all the bounce house parties we usually go to! They have a kitchen and a spare room for parents to hang out in - we had pizza and cupcakes, everything was clean and it was just an overall great party!

My daughter has really enjoyed the Mad Science virtual labs during the last few months of online schooling. Joefessor is funny and entertaining and has gotten to know the kids that attend regularly.

What a great place!! They are very helpful. All activities for the birthday party were very interactive. Goody bags were very awesome too. We had kids there from age 5 to age 11 and everyone loved them.

Mad Science came to our elementary school for our annual Science Expo. The kids absolutely loved the station that was set out (Dry Ice Storm). Our Mad Scientists (Doc Rock) was wonderful with all of the kids and everyone had so much fun!! We have had Mad Science come out for many years for this event and have always had an extremely positive experience. Their Mad Scientists are always prompt, knowledgeable and wonderful with working with kids that are a mix of ages.

Highly recommend the Mad Science team! Not only were the FANTASTIC at the birthday party (kept 3-6 year olds entertained in a busy, loud venue), but they were great during the planning process, helping me confirm the venue details, providing easy confirmation and payment details - couldnt have been better. Mad Science came to our summer camp for ages K-6th grade, and the kids loved it! We did the Sweet Heat workshop. Professor Anna was enthusiastic and engaging the whole time, asked great questions, and taught about heat in an interesting and age appropriate way. And obviously the kids enjoyed all the experiments with fire and making cotton candy at the end! It was easy to book with Mad Science. They did a great job following up on and confirming the reservation and were very professional.

My girls had a fantastic time in coding camp! They always came home excited and chattering about what they learned that day. I was impressed how even the outdoor play activities were related to coding (without the use of screens)! We will definitely be back!

My daughter had a wonderful time with these mad scientists! They performed several experiments that suited a wide variety of age groups (my daughter is only 6) and explained fundamental scientific concepts throughout their fun projects. My daughter spoke very highly of them and retained some of the things that she learned from each class. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth with these folks!

Great 8th birthday for our daughter at Mad Science. We did a chemistry party and absolutely loved Dr. Sparkles (aka Sarah). She was very engaging and kept the kids interested for 90 minutes! They handled all of the setup, clean up and decorations. All we had to do was show up. I would definitely recommend Mad Science as a great birthday party destination!

After searching high and low for something new to do for my daughters birthday, Mad Science fell right in my lap. The birthday party at their location was awesome. I would reccomend it to anyone who has a kid that enjoys science! The only thing I would suggest (constructive criticism)is to have a bluetooth speaker to play music as people wait for their guest to arrive. Other than that, it was an A++ show!

My daughter (age 3) is in the after school Mad Science class at Montessori. She asks everyday before school is it Mad Science day. Some days it is the only way to get her to go to school. She absolutely loves the class.We are having her birthday party Mad Science this year.

Great 4th birthday party for my son! Our mad scientist kept the kids engaged the entire time and even the parents had some fun too. They took care of everything, minimal set up required (we just had to provide the food). The party room is already decorated. There was even a separate room with a couch and some toys for the younger siblings who were too little to participate.

I just had my daughters 6th birthday here. I didnt know what to expect so my expectations werent low, they were just almost non-existent. I just knew science experiments are cool and my daughter seemed super stoked about it. Well, it was awesome! Our scientist, Radioactive Rachel, was great and even let us skip a couple of the experiments without a beat because one of the children was genuinely in distress about it. The lady at the front (its horrible that I cannot remember her name for a shout out) couldnt have been more kind and patient when I was acting odd and panicking over the pizza delivery being delayed. The set up was wonderful - there is a room to set up your cake/food/presents and then the lab room itself for the science show and for eating afterwards. Id certainly recommend them to any parent looking for an outside of the box birthday for their child.

I highly recommend Mad Science of the Triangle. We have attended a number of birthday parties, and most recently a science workshop drop and shop. You could attend several different Mad Science events and never have the same experience twice! The staff has always gone out of their way to make sure no kids are feeling left out. Give Mad Science a try, they will not disappoint!

I signed my daughter up for Mad Science Camp (after school sessions) on a whim. One of the best spontaneous decisions Ive ever made! She absolutely loved the camp and was so sad that yesterday was her last day. It was very affordable, and she had a blast. Best of all, the classes are obviously very well-taught, because she was able to come home and share with me in detail all of the things she learned. They also get a little science toy to take home from each class to continue learning at home. I am hopeful they will have another camp in the new year with another round of new fun things to learn. I highly recommend it!

We had our daughters 5th birthday party here. An amazing experience that led to one kid calling it the best party hed ever been too. The lab instructor ran through a series of chemical reactions keeping the presentation both engaging and educational for the audience of 4-6 year olds. A truly wonderful experience.

That is so so great party we did before . We asked for outside, because we have water war just finished few minutes from the science fun started . The staff is so nice . We will back next years .

Disappointing! Think speaker from school assembly in a small room with 5 plastic coated picnic tables crammed up against the walls and your kid told to sit down and stop talking.Booked for a birthday party - I thought it would be like all the other professional places that host birthday parties: things would be coordinated, suitable for the age group, assistance with party, presents, parents, etc. We had been to Science Fun for Everyone in Cary in the past and thought Mad Science would be similar - it was not!You are just renting some empty rooms, for you to do what you want with. They dont help or participate at all in the birthday portion. Science teacher actually packed up her stuff into boxes on the table while the kids tried to have cake. Office assistant said youve got the three rooms, do your cake wherever then walked off. This was after she asked do you still need us to give you plates and forks?. There was zero support for anything related to the party.One room is for science, one is the hallway and the other is an poorly used room with a couch from someones old house (think of the feel of a bad uncles garage). We were embarrassed to ask kids parents to wait there.We were told it was a 2 hour party. Science stated 20 min after beginning, lasted 50 min, then we were told to have our party (on our own). Parents who dropped off were not expecting to comeback until 2 hours later and at 70 min we were done with organized activities, and just had cake to do.The science speaker was decent - but the science went from the mundane (slime) to over the kids heads (Bernoullis principle). The presentation was not well connected, and clearly tailored to a school assembly.Most disappointing, is that the presentation didnt involve the kids, they just sat and watched (and were repeatedly told to sit down and watch). Only one part had any involvement. I had to proactively ask that the birthday child be allowed to participate when there was involvement.

Everyone loved my son’s 4th birthday party! It made it easy and fun and it was great to have it at our own house, but not have to be in charge of the entertainment. The scientist arrived on time, set up (and cleaned up) quickly, was great with the kids, kept them engaged and planned really cool experiments. All of the adults were impressed and I had several friends ask me “how did you find her??”. As a teacher, I loved how she managed the children and knew their attention spans. The best part was they learned so much while they were having fun! Literally could not have been a better experience and my son absolutely loved every second of his party. Highly recommend!

I have been associated with Mad Science for almost a year now and what they do is absolutely first rate. A large group of seniors and some of their great grandchildren enjoyed commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the flight to the Moon. The morning of Tuesday, July 16th at 9:32 am we launched a solid fuel rocket for a large group at Stoneridge. Before the launch, while sipping lemonade they listened to some patriotic music and then Frank Sinatras Fly Me to the Moon, David Bowies Space Oddity, and Elton Johns Rocket Man. Thanks Mad Science for what you do, our community enjoyed partnering with you.

We booked a Spooky Science Party to come to our track-out camp and our kids had a blast! Doc Roc was super fun, patient and engaging. The kids were amazed by his tricks and loved hearing the science behind them. They got to make slime to take home which was probably the highlight for them! Even in a hurricane, with WCPSS closed and our center closing at noon, Doc Roc was so calm and patient through all the chaos that was happening that morning. We were very appreciative of that and were thankful for the fun and hands-on experience we got to have on a dreary, rainy and windy day. Thanks Mad Science!

Our scientist blew us and our guests away! I was expecting a fun time for the kids but this far surpassed my expectations. He was really funny and engaging! So many laughs from the kids - and the parents could relax at the party! He even remembered all 15 of the kids names and referred to them by name. I got multiple compliments from the other parents - everyone loved it! Thank you for your help teaching and entertaining the kids! Thank you for being able to come to our home to allow us to have a safe outdoor celebration during COVID!
