I have found my hair salon!! I am in love with my haircut. I havent had such a thorough haircut in so long. I showed her an inspo picture and she truly delivered. I cant wait to go back for a trim & another cut!!

I go the day of my appointment and the salon was extremely clean and everybody was super friendly. Im glad I found this place. My tech did a fantastic job. Very happy with my hair!

Ive been coming here and they ALWAYS do a great job! I come here even though I no longer live in DC. The treatments I get are great and they keep my hair very healthy.

They were really nice and gave a meticulous haircut. I personally think so. I asked for a trim/long hair layered haircut and a few thin bangs. Good quality for your buck hahah. I highly recommend this place.

The cut was superb, even for a guy like me. Although it was a student cutting my hair cut and it took 30 to 40 mins to do so, I loved how it turned out. She clearly asked me how long I want to keep on some parts. Plus, it’s super affordable for a student, costing me $7.Would definitely go again!

Went for waxing several times and was pretty pleased.I had to point them to a few areas they missed after they initially finished, but they took care of it no problem

I went in to be a model for one of the students here for microblading. The instructors were very involved and very careful to watch and make sure everything was lined up properly before the actual procedure. The students and the instructors were very welcoming and kind, they even got everyone lunch! I have to say overall this was a very positive experience, I was somewhat worried prior to seeing the results just because of course, it is a school after all and part of learning is mistakes. The only thing I could change is that the tail of one of my brows is slightly less full than the other (you can hardly tell) but Im sure thats a simple fix I could get done during a recommended routine touch up. Overall my face looks a lot more symmetrical and its an amazing job theyve done. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to making sure I was happy and looked great!

It is exactly what its name means, a school! So every time I get a hair cut, I feel like a lab rat sitting there. There will be students standing next to you and learn how to cut hair. Sometimes you are just their homework:) not recommended, if you dont want to be a practice sheet for them go to a real beauty shop!

I am a recent graduate of Vuus Beauty School. When I first enrolled in Kims Microblading course I was unsure of what to expect. I read both good and bad reviews, but I can honestly say I am getting my moneys worth of training. I graduated 2 months ago, but am continuing to apprentice under Kim. She allow all her students to apprentice until they feel and are ready to go it alone on their own. I have had my own business as an esthetician for over 15 years and I will only perform top rate services. Kim is very patient,Professional and has a heart for her students. The school is not fancy, but clean and the people are genuine.

The owner was extremely rude to me. when i wanted to get my eyebrows done, he sent his short oompa loompa lookinh son to do them, and the little kid had to step on a booster to reach my eyes. the little kid had the worst breath also. my eyebrows took 3 hours to get done and theyre un even. nice effort! i enjoyed the cut.

First off you get what you pay for is my lesson learned! I had long hair and only wanted a half inch off! I got butchered and my hair cut doesnt make sense & didnt make sense from the beginning of the visit!! I should of stopped her & followed all the red flags!! NEVER AGAIN!!

I bought groupon to do microblading at vuubeautyschool.MrsKim is so careful to remind me no alcohol and no asparin.Her employees work on my eyebrows and tell me howto care to eyebrows after service.I kind of confused a lot of good reviews on the school is good and also bad.To be fair, the service is great.I paid for unexpensive service but so far so good. It is take a little long time but i have understand they care for my eyebrows.I am happy for it.

Vuu was not professional at all. Worst Microblading experience of my life. WARNING: RUN!!!!! Cheap is not the way to go especially when your delicate face is involved!!!! I have had this done twice at other places over the years with great results where business owners act with the highest level of professionalism. I should have ran when she tried to make me come back an hour later for my appointment after i had already paid for 2 hour parking, the salon was dirty, she was eating food and picking at her nose everytime she got up(every 10 to 15 mins) to talk to students, she was rude. She pressed hard into my brows used as little numbing ointment as possible and the cheapest ink from China(a student verified she buys all her stuff under the table) The good reviews are mostly from students who get a discount on school fees for posting i can imagine. If you do not believe me go ahead walk into this place....it is a complete dump. I pray my eyebrows are not infected. Worst groupon purchase ever!!!! I should have ran out of that place. I do not usally post but if i help one person from having to go through what i went through it is worth the time posting this!!!!!!!!

Dont get your eyelashes done here, a fullset isnt full and they put in a couple hairs and so much spot missing! 3 hours wasted of time and moneyEdit : I was told I would recieve a professional and I was willing to pay $100+. Money wasn’t the problem. The problem was expecting to get a professional but not getting it. And also we paid $50 not $40. I get that students are learning but when I request a professional, thats who I expect to get when I come in. Thank you

If you are looking for a school that help you enhance your knowlegde about living beauty, staying beauty and giving a hand to make other girls beautiful, you should enroll in Vuus beauty school. All the teachers are friendly, devocated and make you feel lot more interested in not only the subject that you take but another subject as well. I am now taking nail technician course here. During this course, I have a chance to work with many cilents and learnt a lot of about how to work with specific clients. After finishing 600hours, I am planning to take cosmetology & facial next month. It is gonna be really excited !!!

I have always doubted about a salon could be a beauty school. However, I finally gave me a chance to learn more about medi & pedi care at Vuu Beauty school, and it is much more better than I thought. I have learn from some of the best tutors like Ms Holly, Ms Kim,.. and so many others treated me with respect and showed me how to do the best with my clients in the salon. The tuition fee is quite affordable because it includes almost all basic material and book. Sometimes, you could have your facial & mainicure done perfectly by other student for free. Actually, I have just found out that they also have Microblading program, and I can not wait to sign up next month after graduate my recent course. Highly Recommend !!!

This place is very unprofessional they literally chemically burned my scalp when I went to have my hair dyed sadly I suffered chemical burns and no hair will ever grow on my head Im so sad now 😥👎

It took nine people to walk and figure out the hair style i wanted its not hard at all been to many schools in past and one person can do it every time ..they did not trim the dead ends off like i wanted and 9 people triedto cut and laugh at me this is no way for a school to act DO NOT GO HERE
