I liked the fact that they had a grandparents day. I went because my granddaughter attends the school and it was good but the part about the show with the children singing was WAY TOO LONG!! I like kids and definitely love music but this lasted what seemed to be an eternity. Every time one class stopped singing I would think its the end, then another class would parade on the stage and so on... Going to your grandchildrens class is always fun and this time in my granddaughters class they were playing a board game which they drew up themselves and the grandparents were encouraged to participate in. It was a great experience!!

We love our St. Joe’s school and community! Such a wonderful place for learning and development of the whole child. Also, we love our principal! She is kind, caring, compassionate and competent. A true advocate for our children. Always looking ahead to how she can improve every aspect of our school!

It’s great to be at a school where everyone is so close. All the staff know your child’s name and make it a point to get to know them, regardless if they are their student or not. We’ve been here for 2 years and it’s the best decision we could have made for our son!

I attended St. Joseph, as did some of my family and we all had an amazing experience. Teachers and administrators were dedicated to each and every students success. I currently have one of my daughters in attendance and eventually my youngest will attend as well.

We brought our daughter here when she was in second grade and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. My daughter is now in fourth grade and our son is in the PreK 4 program and we absolutely love our school. The principal, teachers, and entire staff are incredible. They educate and love our children. We are so blessed for the education, friendship, love, and Christian teaching and guidance our children get to experience.

I am shocked by the other reviews of St Joseph’s Catholic School that I’ve read here. My children have attended for the past four years and we have been very happy with the administration, curriculum, and overall atmosphere at the school. My children (and I) have made friends and been enriched by our experiences at this school.

We looked at other private schools, but after taking a tour with Mrs. Haas, we knew we had found the best school. My son is in PreK and has learned so much. He absolutely loves his teachers and enjoys going each day. Entire staff is great. I highly recommend this school to other families.

This school is rather awful. The experience my child had there was horrendous. Luckily shes now attending Dartmouth and working hard. This school is way behind on their curriculum. My child was WAY behind in High School and had to take extra classes to catch up on the same speed as her other companions. It took me a lot of nerve not to post this but I should just let everyone know when theyre thinking about putting their child here. I now live in California and my child was put in a better private school that was top 50 in the world. This school doesnt have any strengths in any of their subjects. I heard there is now more bullying. No surprise there. They only care about money and not our childs who are working hard to get in life. I suggest you put your kid in another school than thinking twice about St. Joseph as your first pick. Just to let you know, there are cliques if you want to know. That would mean your child will have a tough time making friends since the kids there have known each other since Pre-K or Kindergarten.

Being a alumni of this school myself, Im appalled at how they handle things now. My son attended here last year for pre k and 5 times he was physically bullied, sent home bruised from another student that lasted 2 weeks, and one of those times he was even sent home bleeding from the neck. I brought all the issues to the schools attention to end the bulling. Mind you my son was a victim and they responded by not allowing my son to attend the following year. I also brought this to the attention of the pastor who didnt care. Authorities informed me that I can charge them with 5 counts of battery alone with my proof. Please do not trust this school with your child/ children.

My husband and I are very happy with all aspects of SJCS. Mrs. Haas, our principal, really cares about the well being and safety of all the children. The teaching and office staff are second to none! The curriculum is very rigorous and engaging. I love that our Christian faith is integrated in all aspects of learning. St. Joseph Catholic School has a beautiful, state of the art technology/collaborative learning lab and library. The sports program is wonderful! My children have been involved in soccer and basketball. The coaches have taught them so much! The Art and Music programs are outstanding as well! Our children have been very happy here and are thriving in the high school environment, after receiving such a solid education in grades PK-8th at SJCS. In fact, the high school teachers constantly praise the St. Joseph students for how prepared they are for high school and are amazed at their knowledge. Overall, if you want a quality education for your child, in a loving, family oriented environment, this is the place for your family! There is something for everyone here!

I honestly don’t believe this school is whatever one claims it to be. My child has been coming here for years and I’m just disappointed how the principal handles things. This year will be my sons last year here. I’ve had trouble with his teacher, she doesn’t treat my son right and when I finally had enough of it and brought it to Mrs. Haas attention she sides with her teachers, instead of fixing situations and problems it’s sad to say she just avoids the problem. This principal is money hungry. She doesn’t care that she is loosing good families who have been here for years because she knows she will be getting money from someone else. There are many problems in this school and problems with there teachers. Mrs. Haas just defends her teachers and try’s to forget or hide situations instead of fixing problems and making her school great again. I’ve read the reviews before mine and seen that all that is a bunch of lies. Those current recent reviews are just the room moms of the school leaving good reviews to mask the reviews that tell the truth about the school. If you can read there are a lot of negative review within this year and they are all towards the principal and the staff. My piece of advice to the next family enrolling at St. Joseph is if you aren’t white and privileged don’t bother thinking about getting a good education for your child because this isn’t the school for your child. I’m hurt to say this but St. Joseph isn’t the school it claims to be. I’m sorry to say but the school needs a new principal who isn’t money hungry and actually advocates for the kids and families.

My son attended this school. His teacher Mrs. Swider told him he had satan in him because he liked snakes. Sick. They dont do anything about bullies in this school. I just want to protect any kids from having to deal with what my children had to deal with. My daughter says the religious instructor teacher used foul language. Over all experience for my children was horrific and years later people are horrified when the kids mention things to them. One little girl was getting bullied so much she was having suicidal thoughts. Thankfully she befriended my child that told me and we reported the bullying. My child was bullied for momths I was in and out of the school trying to get them to do something about it and their excuse was we cant make contact with the other childs parent please the teachers are horrible. This place is a nightmare. After hearing that snake story again (this is years later) I feel I should prevent other parents from putting their kids through this torture.
